WASHINGTON — President Biden has given first dog Commander to relatives, the White House said Wednesday following revelations of more brutal attacks on Secret Service employees — including a case in which White House tours were suspended to mop up blood from the floor of the East Wing and another attack where an agent suffered a “severe deep open wound” at Biden’s Delaware vacation home.

I hope the injured parties file BIG lawsuits against the Biden family.

Commander was always there for a photo-op. Commander is in doggie heaven right now. Clinton had the same problem when he was president, and he had the same result for his dog.

It's not the dog's fault. Dogs are a reflection of their owner. If the dog's owner is a nasty A Whole, then the dog will be an A Whole, too. A Whole Joe and Commander are Exhibit A.

Why is everyone in the Biden family, even the dogs, mean and nasty? Personally, I have a feeling Joe
might mistreat them. Saw a video once of Joe kicking the dog.

A feeble elderly man does not need to have a German Shepherd. Those dogs are smart, strong and need a job to do, and hanging out for photo ops is not that. If Biden wants a dog, he needs a small lapdog. One of my co-workers has a Maltese mix and he is cheerful and friendly and loves to hang out with you. Of course he's not a Big Bad Macho dog (and I think that's why Biden had the GS) but he's a very good boy and perfectly suited for a senior citizen.

No dog is naturally mean, they pick up attitudes from their surroundings and you can tell by their demeanor how they have been treated. I know many very pleasant Pit Bulls and Dobermans that will lick your hand. Joe is a mean, nasty piece of filth and not worthy of owning a dog.

If Commander was ever left alone with Hunter Biden then he probably had crack cocaine blown up his nose, along with other "recreational drugs" that ended up making the dog as crazy as the First Son.

You don't just give a large biting dog to another 'family'. He's either put down as a nuisance animal or sent to be a junkyard guard dog. Tell me about Commander in a year.

Exactly #10. A weak willed, feeble, foot shuffling dimwit like Joe doesn't need a dog like a German Shephard. Or any similar dog. Idiots like him need a small one like a Pekingese, Chihuahua, Lhasa Apso or a Shih Tzu.

IIRC, this is German Shepherd #3 that has had to leave our White House for biting people. I shudder to think what presidential pets do to the interior of the White House.

If the Bidens really cared about the Secret Service agents around them, they would not have gotten a power dog like at German Shepard in the first place. Once they got him though, they should have rehomed him after the first bite. Instead, they let the situation fester until there were 24 biting episodes. I'll bet they were given an ultimatum by the Secret Service. I'm an animal lover, but I would have put that dog down.

Why after Commander showed his true temperament after the first or second bite, did Biden allow that unsocialized dog to remain around strangers who the dog could easily bite? That tells you something about Biden’s thinking, that he is above the law or is very stupid!

As a former K9 handler who has raised, trained German Shepherds, I hope the dog goes to a home/ family who can give him a consistent, stress free environment. GSD's don't do well when they're shoved from place to place, person to person. Maybe it's a good thing he never bonded with Numbnuts and his squeeze.

Commander bit US Secret Service personnel at least 24 times according to new Secret Service documents obtained through a FOIA request. So, clearly for at least six months, the WH and Secret Service quashed reports about these vicious dog attacks.

The dog will eventually have to be put down, I am pretty certain. Perhaps some new owner can change that dog's attitude, but I doubt it very much.

I love dogs, and absolutely understand the desire for a canine companion. However, my personal philosophy is that when you get on in years you should not have a young dog. As a shelter volunteer, I saw way too many elderly people surrendering their beloved dogs because they could no longer care for them. The people were heartbroken, and the dogs were confused, lonely, and scared. The Bidens got Commander as a puppy and Joe was 78 or 79 years old. At that age, getting a dog that could live for 15 or more years is an unforgiveable act of selfishness. If he had to have a dog, why couldn't he get a senior dog? Or provide hospice care for a sick dog?
And in any event, he should never have had a large, powerful animal like a GSD. I love big dogs, too, but a goofy, friendly lab would have been a better choice. Or a golden retriever.

Good question, #21. When Pedo Joe broke his leg a few years ago the excuse given was that he was getting out of the shower, went to pull his dog’s tail and slipped and fell.

Unlike some people, realize some dogs are mean as they are individuals. But with Biden, I think it has been well shown that he is not a good influence on dogs any more than on people. German Shepherds are the wrong breed for anyone in Biden's position, even if he was a good person - which he definitely is not.
