Disgraced politician Anthony Weiner's ex-wife Huma Abedin has seemingly revealed she is dating billionaire George Soros' son Alex - who is almost ten years her junior.
The longtime aide to Hillary Clinton appeared to take her romance public on Wednesday when she shared a photo of herself and Alex enjoying a Valentine's Day date at a restaurant in Paris.
In the image - which was posted on Instagram Stories by both Huma, 47, and Alex, 38 - shows the pair cuddling up in a corner booth behind a table strewn with red roses and gifts, with the billionaire playboy adding a 'Happy Valentine's Day' message above their heads.

Roses are red, violets are blue, the White House looks cute on Valentine's too!
First lady Jill Biden shared her "Valentine to the Country" by sprucing up the White House's north lawn with the cutest art display.
This year's setup features a big wooden red envelope, painted in her handwriting: "To America with Love...," alongside a similar-sized open pink envelope with the message: "Happy Valentine's Day 2024—XOXO, Jill," and right next to the first lady's cute letters, sits a whimsical three-dimensional wooden box filled with wooden Sweethearts-like candy, each painted with messages of love, gratitude, and optimism.

With February marking Black History Month, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is spotlighting some of its meteorologists.
The field has struggled with attracting Black scientists. In the most recent American Meteorological Society survey of meteorologists taken in 2020, just 2% of respondents identified as Black. According to the latest census, 13.6% of Americans are Black. [SNIP] "I celebrate Black history by just reflecting upon the past and then thinking about the future and the things that we have accomplished as a culture, as a community, and it just really warms my heart that I am part of Black History Month at the National Weather Service," Michael Hill said.

Chicago’s Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson recently touted his efforts to bestow $18 million exclusively to “black and brown” businesses to feed the thousands of illegal border crossers the city is housing. [SNIP] During a press conference on the partnership, the “sanctuary city” mayor celebrated the program, applauding “black and brown businesses” as the “soul” of Chicago.
“The $17 million investment for these 18 black and brown small businesses, is really the, um… it really captures what I call the soul of Chicago. It’s who we are,” Johnson told the media.

During one of the early commercial breaks during the 2024 Super Bowl, Come Near aired its ad featuring scenes of people of all sorts washing someone’s feet in emulation of Jesus. But many felt the ad completely missed the Biblical point. [SNIP] The ad shows a total of twelve scenes of one individual washing another’s feet. Most appear to be white people doing the washing. None feature a minority washing a white man’s feet, and some even seem to be telling white Christians not to be bigoted. That last one, in particular, features a white priest washing the feet of what appears to be a member of the LGBTQ community.

The Israeli Army in the Gaza Strip slaying thousands of Muslim Brotherhood brothers (Hamas) came upon evidence of UNRWA employees participating in the satanic events of October 7, which should not surprise because UNRWA has been a major player in the antisemitic fantasy of a “Palestinian people” whose homeland was allegedly stolen from them by the Jews, the lie that justifies the very existence of UNRWA in support of the “victims of Zionism.”
UNRWA’s brief for 75 years has been supporting millions of “Palestinian refugees” when, truth be told, there is nothing Palestinian about these people. And neither are they refugees.

Israel's neighbors and key mediators warned Saturday of disaster and repercussions if its military launches a ground invasion in Gaza's southern city of Rafah, where Israel says remaining Hamas strongholds are located — along with over half the besieged territory's population. [SNIP] The announcement set off panic. More than half of Gaza's 2.3 million people are packed into Rafah, which borders Egypt. Many fled there after following Israeli evacuation orders that now cover two-thirds of the territory following the Oct. 7 Hamas attack that sparked the war. It's not clear where they could go next.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said any Israeli ground offensive on Rafah would have "disastrous consequences."

More than two dozen confidential witnesses against former president Donald Trump face “significant and immediate risks of threats, intimidation, and harassment” if their identities become public, federal prosecutors have told a judge.
In response, U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon in West Palm Beach, Florida put a hold on Friday’s previously scheduled public release of a trove of documents. Cannon has given Trump's attorneys until Feb. 23 to respond, meaning the documents likely won't be released earlier.
At issue is evidence prosecutors turned over to defense attorneys in the case over Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida after leaving the White House.

Military strikes in a future of drone warfare are more stealthy, more agile and potentially more effective.
"It's like when the tank came on the scene and when the submarine came on the scene, when the machine gun entered the the scene in the beginning," Lt. Col. Daniel Davis told Scripps News.
But the recent militant strike on a military base in Jordan that killed three U.S. servicemembers and injured dozens more begs the question: Are we ready for this future?
"You know in terms of capabilities, there is a huge difference across the [NATO] alliance," said Federico Borsari, a fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis.

Top lawmakers put out a bombshell report Thursday revealing how billions of American dollars are flowing into the hands of the Chinese Communist Party - and being used to support their military and genocidal efforts.
The report states that U.S. venture capitalist companies have helped 'build and strengthen' China's authoritarian regime through a variety of methods.
According to the House China Select Committee, over $3 billion was invested into Chinese artificial intelligence and semiconductor companies by five top U.S. venture capitalist firms between 2001 and 2023.
The committee launched an investigation last summer into the finances of five companies: Sequoia Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Walden International, GSR Ventures and GGV Capital.

President Biden's Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen dodged multiple questions from Republicans about why her department instructed banks to comb through Americans' bank records after January 6 looking for 'extremists.'
Federal investigators in Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) asked U.S. banks to scour customer transactions for key terms like 'MAGA' and 'Trump,' Republicans revealed in January.
The federal government was specifically 'watching' Trump supporters and Americans who frequent outdoor stores such as Cabela's, Dick's Sporting Goods and Bass Pro Shops, and also those who purchased religious texts, such as a Bible.
The report sparked a flurry of backlash at the Biden administration from Republicans demanding answers about the government's spy tactics.

With the same tenacity shown by the legendary outlaw himself, Utah lawmakers are once again trying to turn the site of the childhood home of Butch Cassidy into a state monument. [SNIP] Despite previous failed attempts to seek a designation for the site, the resolution sponsored by Rep. Carl Albrecht reads "that it is in the best interest of Piute County to preserve and maintain the Butch Cassidy home as a state monument." [SNIP] Cassidy worked closely with his partner — "Sundance Kid" Harry Longabaugh. The two were immortalized in a 1969 film starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford.
