Users of X, formerly Twitter, mocked President Biden after seeing a clip of first lady Jill Biden leading him offstage after his January 6 anniversary remarks. Multiple users expressed amusement that the White House staff appeared to be allowing Biden’s wife to rush up and lead the president away from the podium before he could make any awkward hesitations or walk to the wrong end of the stage in confusion. RNC Research’s X account shared footage from the end of Biden’s speech near Valley Forge in Pennsylvania on Friday, during which he once again blasted former President Trump and his supporters as a threat to democracy.

Comments:

"Dr." Edith Wilson Biden craves the power, money, and attention - - and she's going to have them - - even if it means constantly humiliating Despicable Joe.

It reminds me of the instructions I gave my husband the first time he wanted to take our son on a solo trip to the store. "Hold his hand the whole time. Do not let go and assume he will follow you. He will wander away so don't kid yourself. If you stop and look at something make sure he is right beside you the whole time and in eye sight." You see my husband for some unknown reason did not want to use a cart. He thought they were cumbersome especially if you are just going to get 1 or 2 items. Only going to be in the store 5 minutes so he didn't need one. After 5 minutes in the store he got a cart and put our son into it. Went down the toy aisle and got him a $.99 Matchbook car. Our son was happy, dad got to look at what he wanted and did not have to worry about his son. You should have heard my instructions for walking through the parking lot. Jill needs to walk him to the podium. As FJB screams about the half of America that he hates she can wipe the spittle off his chin. (A good caretaker always has Kleenex.) If he mentally wanders she can gently point out the task that he was doing by pointing to the teleprompter. When he is done, take his hand again, whisper in his ear "good boy" and promise him you will take him to get ice cream now. Help him off the stage and into his waiting tax funded transportation caravan. FJB will have to die before she lets go of her cushy, cushy existence. And then I can see her propping him up at the podium and sticking her arms into his nether regions to animate FJB. Dead or alive, not much difference.

When he landed in Delaware he couldn't find mrs. jill who seems to have high-tailed it into the waiting SUV. Lost and confused, he kept turning around looking for her. He was finally led to the vehicle sans jill after he couldn't seem to get there on his own. There's a comedian on YouTube who calls him the 'Roomba President' because he makes his turns exactly like a roomba vacuum. That's a pretty accurate description!! Just imagine the media coverage if Melania was shown leading President Trump by the hand.....how relentless it would be.

Reminds me of a Frasier episode. Voracious, shameless agent Bebe Glazer has a chance to marry the billionaire owner of a media empire. As they go down the aisle, he clutches his chest. Frasier says: they seemed to pause a moment, but then continued down the aisle. But I swear I could see daylight under Big Willie's cowboy boots. That's Jill; JJ Glazer. With apologies to Harriet Sansom Harris, who is a marvelous comedienne.

We must stop ignoring violence against

When the stabbed and battered body of 22-year-old Italian college student Giulia Cecchettin was found in a ditch near Venice in November 2023, police arrested her former boyfriend, Filippo Turetta, for her murder. Such violence by intimate partners is not uncommon: Cecchettin was one of more than one hundred women in Italy last year killed by either a former or current intimate partner, according to the country’s Interior Ministry. What was uncommon was the public outcry over Cecchettin’s death, which quickly became a symbol of the nation’s ongoing crisis of femicide — the crime of killing a woman because she is a woman.

A set of pistols belonging to Founding Father Alexander Hamilton is up for auction by Christie’s starting Jan. 18 — and could fetch an eye-popping $500,000. The pocket Flintlock pistols, which were for personal use, are not the guns Hamilton used in his ill-fated 1804 duel with Aaron Burr, where he died from his injuries. “They are small enough so they could fit one in each pocket, that’s why they’re sold two at a time,” said Martha Willoughby, a specialist in Christie’s Americana department. “They are ideal for close-range defense … if you’re accosted by a thief or something, that’s when they would come in handy.”

With concerns mounting that the Israel-Hamas war is expanding into a broader regional crisis, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken kicked off his fourth urgent visit to the Middle East in just three months on Saturday with a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The pair discussed strategies for containing the conflict in the Gaza Strip and other ways of promoting “lasting regional peace,” State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller told NBC News. Turkey is a NATO member and a key US ally, Erdoğan has been critical of Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in recent weeks.

“It’s been proven that when you make it difficult for people in their lives, they lose their ideological bulls – – t, and they get vaccinated.” So declared COVID superstar Anthony Fauci in 2021, championing government coercion for vaccines of which he falsely promised, “It’s as simple as black and white. You’re vaccinated, you’re safe.” But will Fauci be forced to abandon his own “ideological bulls – – t” when he testifies next week on Capitol Hill? When he uttered that recently unearthed line, Fauci was President Biden’s chief medical adviser and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases head.

Now The Post has photographic proof that Jersey’s Gov. Phil Murphy is a flaming hypocrite — for doing right by his state despite his own stated “principles.” Unless he thinks helping migrants leave your state is only a “stunt” when a Republican does it. On Wednesday, Murphy slammed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s practice of busing migrants from the border to blue states: “This is not a time for stunts. This is a time to figure out a solution that’s broad and comprehensive.” But when migrants show up on his doorstep, Murphy is shipping them right to New York City.

The Las Vegas felon who hurled himself over a courtroom dais and attacked a female judge earlier this week said he was trying to kill her and blamed his action on a “bad day” while refusing to appear in court to face the new felony charges he was handed. Debora Redden, a 30-year-old, three-time felon, was being sentenced Wednesday by Clark County District Judge Mary Kay Holthus for a conviction for attempted battery with substantial bodily harm. Redden’s attorney had asked Holthus to grant parole for the three-time felon, but she sentenced him to jail due to his violent past and repeated arrests.

The White House sent Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Wednesday to meet with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, hoping to obtain his assistance in slowing the wave of migrants crossing through his country on their way to ours. The resulting “Joint Communique” from that parley reveals Mexico City has no interest in assisting an administration that won’t secure US borders. The trip itself, scheduled during a holiday week when little gets done in either capital, reeked of desperation, and nothing in that communiqué dispels the stench.

New testing shows that some popular electric vehicles fall short of their government-estimated driving ranges, underscoring anxiety Americans have about the range of electric vehicles. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency range estimates listed on electric vehicle window stickers and at fueleconomy.gov don't have separate city and highway ranges, as they do with conventional cars and hybrids. Consumer Reports, the nonprofit research, testing, and consumer advocacy organization, put electric vehicles to the test.

With US forces under regular attack across the Mideast and the Navy actively engaged with Houthi forces in the Red Sea, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was out of commission in the hospital from Monday on. Worse, no one told the White House; worse yet, neither President Biden nor National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan noticed. Not until the Pentagon let Sullivan know on Thursday. Anyone thinking that the nation is well-led despite Biden’s blatant feebleness better think again: Austin and his deputies ignored the law here, while Sullivan was plainly asleep at the switch. Again, with American forces regularly under fire, and our friends in Ukraine and Israel fully at war

Despite the pervasive angst among Democratic insiders about the hazards of nominating President Biden for a second term, he is all but certain to be at the top of his party’s ticket next November. The only elected incumbent ever denied the nomination of his party for reelection was President Franklin Pierce, and that occurred long before the modern primary system reduced party conventions to coronation ceremonies. It’s clear that the Biden campaign plans to win enough delegates during the primaries to secure the nomination well before he arrives at the Democratic National Convention. If they succeed, it will be difficult to deny him the nomination.
