The Democrats Can’t Disgorge Biden

Original Article

Despite the pervasive angst among Democratic insiders about the hazards of nominating President Biden for a second term, he is all but certain to be at the top of his party’s ticket next November. The only elected incumbent ever denied the nomination of his party for reelection was President Franklin Pierce, and that occurred long before the modern primary system reduced party conventions to coronation ceremonies. It’s clear that the Biden campaign plans to win enough delegates during the primaries to secure the nomination well before he arrives at the Democratic National Convention. If they succeed, it will be difficult to deny him the nomination.

Biden doesn’t make any decisions. He doesn’t write any of the substance of his speeches. His handlers are DNC operatives. They will simply give the insentient Biden a resignation speech to read in which he moves his delegates to nominate whoever it is they deem will be the best candidate against the particular Republican nominee.

They can't disgorge Biteme, and they also can't disgorge Camel Toe. They had a golden opportunity to offload her on the Supreme Court, but for unknown reasons, they didn't do it. Now they're stuck with her. If Joe drops dead between now and the election, she's their girl. Regardless of how much the Dem poobahs want to win the election, they can't dump Camel Toe without losing at least some of the black vote. While there's talk of running Mooch, I'm not sure she could pull it off. She reminds too many of the angry black woman down the hall who's never satisfied.

What a perfectly applicable word in the title: disgorge /dĭs-gôrj′/ intransitive verb To bring up and expel from the throat or stomach; vomit. To discharge violently; spew. To surrender (stolen goods or money, for example) unwillingly.

We have Senators and Congress people who have died in office of old age and who were sometime rolled into the Capitol on a stretcher to vote, why not a President. Joe could do the same things on a stretcher that he is doing in the White House, which is basically nothing. Face it. Joe Biden is no more running this country than I am. Biden will not be in the Oval Office come 21 January 2025. It's not going to happen. Even margin of fraud during the count will not cover his ineptitude and unpopularity. That's why dems are working on their plans B and C now to replace him. Who that will be is still TBD but Biden is NOT on the short list.

A Culture in Collapse 6 replies

In the last six months, we have borne witness to many iconic moments evidencing the collapse of American culture. The signs are everywhere and cover the gamut of politics, the economy, education, social life, popular culture, foreign policy, and the military. These symptoms of decay share common themes. Our descent is self-induced; it is not a symptom of a foreign attack or subterfuge. Our erosion is not the result of poverty and want, but of leisure and excess. We are not suffering from existential crises of famine, plague,

Let me make it clear from the beginning that I think Nikki Haley (R-Boeing) is a vapid establishment automaton who is basically the Kamala Harris of the Republican Party, a Bushesque mediocrity who represents a dying ideology that peaked in 2005, and good riddance to it. She’s the worst – self-righteous, annoying, always spewing grrrl-power nonsense and hack clichés salvaged from the back catalog of the Weekly Standard. She’s a disaster on every level, one of those people who is both very aggressive and always wrong, the worst possible combination. That being said, should he win the nomination, Nikki! should absolutely be Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick

It’s safe to say that Chief Justice John Roberts would rather keep the U.S. Supreme Court out of the legal battles that seem destined to define the 2024 presidential election. Unfortunately for Roberts, it will be all but impossible for the Court to avoid deciding whether state officials and courts possess the legal authority to remove Donald Trump from primary ballots after declaring him guilty of a crime for which he has never been charged. Because SCOTUS is likely to rule in favor of Trump, it will produce outrage on the left and countless comparisons to Bush v. Gore.
Colorado’s Christmas Gift to Trump 7 replies

Colorado is generally regarded as a blue state, but it is home to many Republicans. In the last presidential election, nearly 1.4 million voters cast ballots for then-President Trump. Yet the state Supreme Court has handed down a ruling that strips them of their right to do so again. Four of the court’s seven Democrat-appointed justices found that Trump’s role in the fabled Jan. 6 “insurrection” disqualifies him from appearing on Colorado’s ballot. This ruling earned them the wrath of the former President’s supporters and the derision of all but a few hyper-partisan constitutional scholars. Nor will it survive the inevitable appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Happy Friday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Yerzenwul felt that it was almost time to share his love of hamster haiku with everyone in Omelette Appreciation Club. It has been a whirlwind few days since the Colorado Supreme Court took a plunge off of the progressive cliff and booted Donald Trump from the state's GOP primary ballot. In the first 24 hours or so after the ruling, reaction predictably broke along party lines. The rabid, Trump-hating Left was ecstatic, of course. Even Republicans who aren't Trump fans thought the court had severely exceeded its authority. Everyone immediately became a legal expert and opinions were flying like Frisbees at the beach.

“Mr. President,” shouted a reporter as Joe Biden stumbled slowly toward his presidential SUV on a rainy night in Delaware on Sunday. “Why are you losing to Trump in the polls?” The leader of the free world stopped in his tracks, looked momentarily bemused, then turned toward his questioner and replied: “You’re reading the wrong polls!” One second later, there was a loud bang as a random vehicle accidentally smashed into his presidential motorcade. Biden looked bemused again before Secret Service agents bundled him inside the armored SUV.

It has long been obvious that the Democrats badly want Donald Trump to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024. This may seem counterintuitive in light of a recent spate of polls showing the former president leading Joe Biden, but this is primarily an artifact of the latter’s weakness. The most reliable polls show Trump bumping up against a ceiling of about 47 percent of the popular vote, which is consistent with his performance in the last two elections. Moreover, in order to win in the Electoral College, he must recapture several swing states Biden narrowly won in 2020.

Joe Biden is in “deep, deep trouble” in his bid to win re-election. Democrats are scrambling and bringing in the heavy hitters. One heavy hitter, Hillary Clinton, is a known election denier and two-time loser in winning the presidency herself, so what can go wrong? Fox News’ Charlie Hurt had some thoughts on Hillary’s umpteenth re-emergence on the political scene.“But, you know you are in deep, deep trouble if you are picking up the bat phone and calling Hillary Clinton to come help you out,” Hurt added. “And I think it was sort of interesting that their thinking is that he needs help among women voters.

Despite being in bad shape politically, President Joe Biden has not hit rock bottom yet. Unlike in 2020, Biden is going to have to campaign, and he is going to have a record to defend — his alone, not one he inherited from former President Barack Obama. And unlike in 2020 and throughout his presidency, the establishment media will have to cover him. As history has shown, exposure and coverage are not a good combination for Biden. To be sure, Biden is still working from an advantage. As usual, the establishment media have given their preferential pass to a Democrat.

The lower President Biden sinks in the polls, the more outlandish his claims about his likely 2024 opponent become. He insists that the main reason he is running for another term is that former President Trump poses an existential threat to “our democracy.” Recently, for example, Biden equated Trump’s speeches with the “language you heard in Nazi Germany in the ‘30s.” This is an increasingly popular theme with Trump’s antagonists. TDS victim Liz Cheney recently told CBS News that electing Trump was analogous to “sleepwalking into dictatorship.” Trump, on the other hand, says that Biden is the real threat: “Joe Biden is the destroyer of American democracy.”

With US forces under regular attack across the Mideast and the Navy actively engaged with Houthi forces in the Red Sea, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was out of commission in the hospital from Monday on. Worse, no one told the White House; worse yet, neither President Biden nor National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan noticed. Not until the Pentagon let Sullivan know on Thursday. Anyone thinking that the nation is well-led despite Biden’s blatant feebleness better think again: Austin and his deputies ignored the law here, while Sullivan was plainly asleep at the switch.
