Five Reasons Why Climate Skepticism And

Today a blithering throng of nascent tyrants, fevered zealots, useless office-holders, hypocrites and ignoble grifters will gather to kick off 28th United Nations Conference of the Parties in the grand pursuit of “global transformative climate action.” For nearly two weeks they will rail and prattle endlessly about how important it is to end fossil fuel use, nag those they slander as “deniers,” tell new lies, restate old lies, hold themselves up as saviors, dine sumptuously – then board jets, many of them privately owned, that burn oceans of hydrocarbon-based aviation fuel to return home.

Hypocrites all! It's cold this morning, in South Louisiana, yesterday it was warm, so I guess we experienced climate change and we probably will again tonight. Let's just ban private aircraft, stop congress critters from going home every weekend and save this planet!

Their "efforts" may be global but any "transformative climate action" will be just as imaginary as the crisis itself. These people are as zealous as the Salem witch hunters of the 1690s but have their eyes firmly on our wallets.

This is another tactic to see how controllable we are. They failed with Covid. Too many of us refused to be vaccinated so they are now moving on to this scam. When they start walking to their conferences or riding the manual power bicycles maybe I might believe all this garbage. Until them...Full Steam Ahead.

Mathematical proof is always the most elegant and inarguable. No matter how much you argue two plus two will always be four. Isaac Newton mathematically laid down the laws that explained the motion of planets. The math provided an impenetrable wall for three centuries. Settled science? It was a truly revolutionary mind of Einstein that dare challenge it. The idea that the planets travel in a straight line which is bent by the gravity induced curvature of time/space.. - hence appearing elliptical - would have been thought to be insane. But science is never constant and almost by definition evolves. Politics on the other hand has remained the same for millennia.

Rush used to speak about the evidence that “fossil fuel” is continually being created, that we have more reserve supply that we did in the past, and will never exhaust it. There is a gigantic industry promoting and profiting on the fear created from the fear of “running out” and the “pollution” resulting from use. That industry uses more energy than the rest of us together, and it is entirely wasted. As things appear now, we (people) will be long gone before the energy supply is.

We've been waiting decades for the warmists to show the data which proves their hypothesis. But the wait is over! Tomorrow - - yes, tomorrow - - they will publicly release the multivariate statistical analysis of scientifically-gathered worldwide data - - which proves - - with 99% certainty - - that human activity is causing catastrophic climate change. Yes - - they'll do this as soon as they finish their lobster and champagne brunch. It's a certainty.

Forget The ‘Red v. Blue State’ Debate:
This Was A Great Debate

Who won – and lost – Thursday night’s primetime clash between mega-Governors Ron DeSantis, Republican of the Free State of Florida, and Gavin Newsom, Democrat of the Golden State? On this scorecard, the winners were the American people. And the losers: one and the same. Why was America writ large the winner? Because though the event was billed as Great Red State v. Blue State Debate, a nationwide audience was actually privileged to see a just-plain great debate between two attractive and transcendently talented politicians. America took in more substance, more facts, more clear contrasts, more smart thrusts and parries,

A leaked Biden administration document is “a strong sign” that the U.S. will consider breaching four Snake River dams to promote salmon populations on the river. Normally, we wouldn’t care, but the push to tear down these (and other) dams exposes the rank hypocrisy of the “climate change” zealots. Those four dams are hydroelectric stations. In other words, they are sources of clean, carbon-free energy. According to the non-profit NW Energy Coalition, they produce about 1,000 megawatts of power throughout the year, but that can climb to 2,200 MW during peak energy demand. So, where’s that energy to replace that loss supposed to come from? Coal plants?

Thursday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and California Gov. Gavin Newsom will face off on Fox News in the great “Red State vs. Blue State” debate, AKA the GovShove or the Acrimonica in Alpharetta or Sir Galahad’s Lament . Whatever it is dubbed, the debate is important for both men, with DeSantis – why didn’t he wait until ’28? – having to prove that his terrible campaign has been a mere eight-month “oopsy” and with Newsom having to prove that he is a human being and not just an autobot bred for office by the San Francisco elite. Over the past few months – with DeSantis’ campaign having been

We live in divisive times, it seems. Bitter rhetoric and open rage over political events, ideologies and culture have become common. As a result, our country’s inhabitants now admit we are no longer unified, as the latest I&I/TIPP data clearly show. I&I/TIPP asked voters this month (and every month since April 2021), “in general, would you say the United States is” followed by four possible answers: “very united,” “somewhat united,” “somewhat divided,” “very divided,” and “not sure.” The answers are somewhat dispiriting for those hoping for a whiff of unity during the holiday season: More than 2/3

A federal bureaucrat is telling us that due to human activity, global snowfall is in decline. There’s no reason to be worried, though. We’ve seen the climate doomsday predictions before, and somehow they always turn out to be wrong. Nearly a quarter of a century ago, we were assured by the British Independent that “Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past.” (Don’t bother to try to find the story in the Independent’s archives – that page doesn’t exist or has been moved, presumably because it’s an embarrassment to the newspaper.) In that article, reporter Charles Onians appealed to the correct authorities, citing David Viner,

Some Democrats are waking up and noticing that the policies they’ve been cheerleading have produced violent crime waves, a massive migrant crisis, and genocidal antisemitism. One would hope the public at large is catching on as well. Just over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a spate of headlines about lefty, soft-on-crime Democrats attacked on the mean streets they’ve helped create. A Secret Service agent opened fire on would-be car thieves who tried to break into an unmarked SUV in the ritzy Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Turns out, the agents were assigned to one of President Joe Biden’s granddaughters.

Americans have come to realize that being online can mean having your speech rights curtailed. But that doesn’t mean they like it. Indeed, they mostly oppose the idea, in particular when it’s Big Tech and Big Government censoring together, according to the latest I&I/TIPP Poll. With growing complaints over online censorship, the online national I&I/TIPP Poll, taken from Nov. 1-3, asked 1,400 respondents the following question: “Do you approve or disapprove of Big Tech companies working with federal agencies to engage in online censorship?” For most people, the answer is negative.

Just as Democrats were trying to downplay the rampant antisemitism in their ranks, what happens? Elon Musk, who has lately become something of a darling on the right, suddenly becomes the poster boy for antisemitism. This is how the left works. This latest twist started when Media Matters — the George Soros-backed media “watchdog” — released a report claiming that ads for major corporations were appearing next to antisemitic and white supremacist content. This is a two-fer for the left. It both attacks Musk — whom the left now hates because he stopped Twitter’s side hustle as the federal government censor — and it takes the spotlight off the left’s virulent antisemitism

Hamas didn’t invade Israel on Oct. 7 for its amusement. The barbaric sneak attack is a part of the pogrom intended to wipe out the Jewish state. It was a crime against humanity, and not just because of its savagery. We would all be worse off if Israel ceased to exist. The same cannot be said for Islamic terrorists. Israel’s contributions to the modern world are momentous. When not dodging bullets, rockets, and homicide bombers, Israelis have since 1948 developed:

We’ve been told with clockwork regularity that in order to prevent a baked planet, we have to generate our electricity through renewable sources, primarily wind and solar. Set aside for now the legitimate questions about the reliability and cost of both and consider this: Do we even have enough room for the equipment necessary to produce enough power to meet the demand? Both wind and solar power are voracious land hogs. Wind or solar can need 90 to 100 times more acreage than a natural gas plant to generate the same amount of electricity. And let’s not forget the large swaths

Say what? As bad as we expected the Antony Blinken Lecture Tour in Jerusalem to be, even I wouldn’t have predicted that a US Secretary of State would have said this to a country victimized by a massive terror attack that killed 1400 people. That is, if Blinken actually told the Israelis that they don’t have enough “credit” to fight Hamas to the finish. The transcript comes from the Times of Israel, which translated it from a Hebrew transcript leaked to Israel’s Channel 12 News. Could something have gotten lost in translation? Perhaps, but it’s not the only eyebrow-raising part of the exchange, either. It begins with Blinken

Joe Biden has apparently noticed that the price of everything is much higher on his watch than a few years ago. He is now asking sellers to just lower their prices. As a viral commercial once said. That’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this works. Companies don’t lower prices just because inflation is politically inconvenient for the president and his party. (X) From the New York Post: Biden admits prices ‘too high’ but blames sellers for 18% inflation President Biden acknowledged Monday that prices are still “too high” and argued that companies should lower them after an 18% jump in consumer costs since he took office.
