With the passing of longtime Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., on Friday, colleagues from across the political aisle have released a bevy of statements remembering the Golden State’s golden gal.
While President Joe Biden described Feinstein as a “kind and loyal friend,” Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, characterized the California Democrat as a “true public servant” with whom he had a “wonderful working relationship” and “will miss.” Other Democrat and Republican senators such as Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Susan Collins, R–Maine, and Marco Rubio, R-Fla., also offered their condolences and fond memories of Feinstein.

She admitted back in 2003 that she would mandate a total gun confiscation, but lamented the fact that she didn’t have the votes.

I'm not going to dump on DiFi. She was a popular mayor of San Francisco. She governed as a fairly moderate democrat, considering her constituency. She went to Washington where every democrat toes the party line and remained fairly mainstream on foreign policy and nforcement. Of the democrat females in congress, she was probably the least objectionable.

This public servant had a mansion in DC, a mansion in San Fran, and three more plush vacation homes in CO, HI, and CA. And she traveled to them in a private Gulfstream jet.

I'd be happy to read all about it, but I will not turn off the adblock, and I will not pay to read it.

I'm going to miss her.
She was one of those people you loved to hate.
She was someone you'd have picked a fight with
because you didn't have to worry about getting any of her on you, like Pelosi
or Adam.

She is now a member of the growing list of politicians who I am glad are no longer with us and wish it could have been sooner. Should I ever find myself at her grave, I'll donate a very personal contribution.

I don't care one bit about her because of her anti 2nd amendment position. Old people die all the time.

Never forget that she is the one who basically introduced the flake Christine Blasey Ford to the Kavanaugh hearing. She is the one at the Barret hearing who brought forth a 16 y.o. "who fought to have an abortion." This greedy, power-hungry, evil woman died, and if she did not accept the forgiveness Jesus offers (she was Jewish), is now eternally paying for her sins.

No matter how long these old fossils hang on in the Senate, eventually they croak. I trust the Almighty to clean house in the senate, one by one. So far, he's taken care of Ted Kennedy, John McCain, Robert Byrd, Harry Reid, Diane Feinstein, and Strom Thurmond. Part of the reason these dems are so broken up about DiFi is they know their time is coming....."ask not for whom the bell tolls,....."

Next up, she'll bin in a parade with a Cassion and soldiers and be laid in State in the Rotunda and all the fawning liberals can shuffle past her casket and sob...sorry I'll miss that, but I have an ingrown toenail that has to come out...

She screwed San Francisco when she was mayor by running the Navy out of town and it's been downhill ever since. Only thing she did was line her pockets.

Seems to me that she was Another Ancient Democ'RAT that should have retired when she knew she was in decline, but who refused to give up her POWER until they Pried it from her Cold, Dead Claws.
Same as RBGinsburg.
Same as The HairSniffer, but he's still above room temperature.... barely.
These ancient D'RATS remind me of the succession of leaders that the Soviet Union had before Gorbachev (the last one, on whose watch the whole thing collapsed) who elbowed their way to the top of the heap. There were several of the 'Old Guard' who became Party Chairman (or whatever the title was) who each in turn ruled briefly, then kicked the bucket. I understand that many regular Russians referred to it as "The Gun-Carriage Race', named after the conveyance used to transport the deceased in the funeral processions, which were happening pretty often.
Too bad that it takes a Constitutional Amendment to impose Term Limits on these people..... they'll NEVER let THAT one get through the Legislative Process!
