Elon Musk announced plans for a trip to Eagle Pass, Texas, the epicenter of the Biden border crisis.
Musk was curious as to why there is so little press coverage on the crisis at the border. My guess is that they don’t care about the humanitarian and national security crises any more than Joe Biden does. They are all perfectly happy with an open border. They see future Democrat voters. And the effects of Biden’s neglect are historically horrible. The press covers for Democrats and Joe Biden.
Elon Musk supports a border wall and he thinks those who seek asylum should have evidence of their asylum claims before being

TEMPE, Arizona — President Joe Biden issued one of his most dire warnings yet that Donald Trump and his allies are a menace to American democracy, declaring Thursday that the former president is more interested in personal power than upholding the nation’s core values and suggesting even mainstream Republicans are complicit.
“The silence is deafening,” he said.
During a speech in Arizona celebrating a library to be built honoring his friend and fierce Trump critic, the late Republican Sen. John McCain, Biden repeated one of his key campaign themes, branding the “Make America Great Again” movement as an existential threat to the U.S. political system.

Former President Donald Trump will not seek to move his criminal election interference case in Georgia to federal court, according to a court filing Thursday.
The filing comes weeks after the former president's attorneys notified Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, who is presiding over the case, that he might attempt to pursue a federal venue. "This decision is based on his well-founded confidence that this Honorable Court intends to fully and completely protect his constitutional right to a fair trial and guarantee him due process of law throughout the prosecution of his case in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia," Trump attorney Steven Sadow wrote.

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott made a rare visit to New York City Wednesday, when he praised Democrats Mayor Eric Adams and Gov. Kathy Hochul for pressuring President Biden on the "national crisis" of the influx of more than 116,000 migrants who have arrived in the Big Apple since last year.
"What you're dealing with in New York, what you are seeing and witnessing in this state is a tiny fraction of what's happening every single day in the state of Texas," Abbott said, making a speaking appearance at the conservative think tank the Manhattan Institute. Last year, more than 2.3 million people were apprehended coming across the border illegally,

NEW YORK — An appeals court Thursday rejected Donald Trump’s bid to delay a civil trial in a lawsuit brought by New York’s attorney general, allowing the case to proceed days after a judge ruled the former president committed years of fraud and stripped him of some companies as punishment.
The decision, by the state’s intermediate appellate court, clears the way for Judge Arthur Engoron to preside over a non-jury trial starting Monday in Manhattan in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ civil lawsuit.
Trump is listed among dozens of possible witnesses, setting up a potential courtroom showdown with the judge. The fraud ruling Tuesday threatens to upend his

A prosecutor overseeing the Hunter Biden tax probe likely intervened to protect President Biden from Department of Justice scrutiny, Eileen O’Connor, former assistant attorney general for the Justice Department’s Tax Division, testified at the first House Oversight impeachment hearing Thursday.
The inquiry, which was formally opened earlier this month without a full House vote, builds on the committee’s months-long probe into Biden’s alleged foreign influence peddling.
U.S. attorney for the District of Delaware David Weiss led the investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes, assisted by Delaware Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf.

Two major anthropological associations have canceled a panel discussion on the importance of biological sex, citing harm to the “Trans and LGBTQI” communities and their collective “dignity.”
On September 25, the American Anthropological Association (AAA) and the Canadian Anthropology Society (CASCA) wrote a letter canceling the upcoming conference panel, “Let’s Talk About Sex, Baby: Why biological sex remains a necessary analytic category in anthropology,” which they had previously accepted.
“The reason the session deserved further scrutiny was that the ideas were advanced in such a way as to cause harm to members represented by the Trans and LGBTQI of the anthropological community as well as the community at large,”

The newest movie from Pixar for Disney is Elemental, which was released in the spring. However, since I never voluntarily watch these movies, I ended up seeing it now because I’m staying with people who wanted to watch it. It was a fascinating film because, combined with surprising common sense, it reflects so much about leftist values and how leftists impose them on Americans, especially on children.
For those who know nothing about the movie, the setting is a place called Element City, in which actual elements live: water, air, earth, and fire. A fire husband and his pregnant wife (Bernie and Cinder) escape their obviously third-world country and come

CHICAGO — Democratic strongholds are struggling to keep helping the surge of migrants in their cities and states — and it’s sparking anxiety in the party about potential fallout heading into the 2024 election cycle.
New York Mayor Eric Adams’ tussle with the White House over an influx of migrants from red states has famously soured his relationship with President Joe Biden. But he’s far from the only blue state official pushing back, as public pressure and budget concerns rise in Illinois, Massachusetts and beyond. “You’re hearing sentiments that are not dissimilar from what you would hear at [Donald] Trump rallies

Three Dallas police officers are liable for the death of Tony Timpa, a white man who died after officers pinned him to the ground for more than 14 minutes in 2016, a federal jury in Texas decided on Wednesday, ending a civil trial that had faced many delays.
The jury of five men and three women found that officers Dustin Dillard, Raymond Dominguez, and Danny Vasquez were responsible for Timpa’s death, and they awarded $1 million to his 15-year-old son, according to Texas news outlets. The jury found that two of the officers, Dillard and Vasquez, had qualified immunity, shielding them from civil liability on the grounds
