President Biden will soon be officially scrutinized by Congress for evidence he committed impeachable acts while serving as Barack Obama’s vice president and possibly after. But even before that investigation begins, a plurality of voters already don’t believe Biden’s repeated denials of involvement in son Hunter’s far-flung business affairs, the I&I/TIPP Poll found.
“How honest has Biden been about his involvement in the business dealings of his son Hunter Biden with foreign entities?” the national online I&I/TIPP Poll asked 1,351 Americans from Aug. 30-Sept. 1. The poll has a margin of error of +/-2.7 percentage points.

Remember when the media and their political masters couldn’t stop saying that red state governors had blood on their hands for opening their states while others were cowered by COVID? The data show it is those who kept their residents locked down and masked who cannot remove the Lady Macbeth-esque spot from their hands.
When Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis decided early in the pandemic that liberty was more precious than any benefits that could come from dictatorial restrictions, the copycat media went to work. Associated Press reporter Ron Fournier tweeted

Over the weekend, we came across a story warning Republicans about their decision to start an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
“It may well ensure that Republicans lose control of the House in 2024,” the story says. “And it could also give Joe Biden a boost as he runs for reelection, presumably against Donald Trump himself.”
In just the past few days we’ve seen a multitude of such warnings. Here’s a small sampling:
“Impeaching Biden Is a Desperate Gamble That Will Backfire”
“Republicans would love to impeach Biden. It would backfire on them.”

We can imagine the White House summer meeting as President Joe Biden’s handlers, whoever they might be, desperately tried to figure out how boost his flagging favorability ratings among voters. Some genius, no doubt, shouted out “Bidenomics!” as just the ticket to repair his tattered reputation. They rolled it out and, well, Americans still aren’t buying it.
On Thursday, Biden’s people pushed him out once again to flog the nearly dead Bidenomics horse. At an appearance in Maryland touted by the administration as a “major” economic address, Biden told voters that his agenda is about “investing in

In response to Democratic New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s effort to infringe on Second Amendment rights as though she were the ultimate authority, more than 100 protesters openly carried firearms Sunday in a rally in Albuquerque. Remember it because their strategy might need to be used again to thwart the COVID tyrants.
Grisham, acting every bit the dictator, issued late last week an emergency order in which she suspended “open and concealed carry laws in Bernalillo County,” where the capital Albuquerque is located, for 30 days. The order is “aimed” – a curious word choice on her part – “at quickly reducing gun violence.”

Editor’s Note: This editorial originally ran on September 26, 2019. Now that the House has announced plans to begin an impeachment inquiry into Biden, we reprint it here just to show how far ahead of the curve we were and how diligently the mainstream press has buried this story for the past four years.
Until the transcript of President Donald Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky emerged on Wednesday, Democrats were in a mad fury with accusations that Trump had bribed a foreign government to investigate the business dealings of former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

Both President Biden and former President Trump have taken their lumps recently. In Biden’s case, it’s his failing mental acuity, age and allegations of corruption in office. For Trump, it’s an unprecedented slew of criminal indictments. Disaster? Hardly. Both candidates still hold big leads over likely challengers, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows.
In Trump’s case, he has widened his lead. In the latest online national poll, taken from among 509 Republican voters from Aug. 30-Sept. 1, we again asked: “If the Republican presidential primary were held today, whom would you support for the nomination?”

In a tweet sent out over the weekend, Rob “Meathead” Reiner declared that “For our Democracy to survive, two things have to happen. Donald Trump needs to be Convicted for Jan. 6th and there can be no Third Party Candidate.”
Reiner’s comment was so blatantly anti-democratic that it elicited an avalanche of criticism, some of it from leftists who didn’t particularly like the idea of barring third-party candidates. As one person on X (formerly known as Twitter) responded: “Better make sure there’s no second party candidate either, just to be safe. For Democracy.”
Another way of putting what Reiner said: We need to kill democracy in order to save it.

In announcing that she will run for reelection to the U.S. House next year, San Francisco’s Nancy Pelosi made an ill-advised, out-of-touch, incredibly deranged statement. If the Republican Party doesn’t use it in a continuous loop of ads during the 2024 campaign, it will commit an egregious error.
Pelosi, regrettably House speaker on two separate occasions, declared last week her intention to seek another term in Congress, which would be her 19th. The 83-year-old tweeted Friday that she was running because “now more than ever our City needs us to advance San Francisco values and further our recovery.”
At least there’s no mystery about her agenda.

The effort to whip up another COVID crisis misses no beats as the usual scolds peddle mask mandates and lockdowns like shameless hucksters selling cure-all elixirs. They can’t say it straight out quite yet, but they want to return to a dark time in our history. Apparently there hasn’t been enough death to satisfy them.
In our own admittedly modest effort to stand against the tyranny, we have recently urged Americans to resist mask mandates and lockdowns through civil disobedience, if necessary. We have no plans to back down from our position.
Our opposition is in part galvanized by our

Across the globe, the U.S. faces a growing list of dangerous foreign policy challenges. But is the 80-year-old President Joe Biden, with growing signs of age-related mental issues, up to the task? A large majority of Americans, including Democrats, say no, according to the latest I&I/TIPP Poll.
Global dangers abound. China’s engaged in a massive military buildup and poised to attack Taiwan. Meanwhile, Russia wages a bloody war with U.S.-supported Ukraine. In the Mideast, Iran’s nuclear program nears completion, and the U.S.’ 2021 Afghanistan departure has left a power vacuum across the region. This is just a partial list of growing threats.

Over the weekend, the Washington Post let it slip that all is not well in Bidenomicsville. The deficit, it reports, could end up hitting $2 trillion when the current fiscal year ends in three weeks, which it describes as an “unexpected deficit surge.”
In other words, the deficit will nearly double this year, calling the lie on one of President Joe Biden’s favorite boasts about how he cut the deficit more than any president in history.
But while this apparently comes as a shock to the Post, as well as other liberal news sites that picked up on the Post report, anyone paying attention knew this was happening.
