An attorney in Venice, California, filed a federal lawsuit on Saturday to bar former President Donald Trump from Californiaâs 2024 presidential primary election, arguing that he is disqualified due to his alleged role in the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, according to a report. (snip) Yagman, according to the Times, was disbarred and served 29 months in federal prison after being convicted in 2007 for tax evasion, bankruptcy fraud, and money laundering, but his law license was later reinstated.

Multiple conservative critics condemned a recent James Bond novel for vilifying former President Trump and other conservative politicians in a story about a dastardly international plot against King Charles III. (snip) âBond was struck by something. It was a long while since heâd been at any kind of function that was almost exclusively full of men. It felt strange. There was not even a pretense at diversity here,â the book wrote, later noting Aethelstan âhadnât been the least bit concerned about ensuring that half of the people heâd hired to carry out his coup should be women, non-White, or disabled.â

The face of the BBCâs disinformation fact-checking unit allegedly fabricated details on her resumĂŠ when she applied for a different media role in 2018, sparking another round of criticism for the millennial presenter.
In what has been described as an âunsurprisingâ turn of events, legacy media darling and the lead figure for the UK publicly-funded broadcasterâs âVerifyâ disinformation division, Marianna Spring is once again facing allegations of lying. According to a report last week from The New European, Spring allegedly made up details on her CV when she applied for the position of Russian correspondent for the American news site Coda Story.

Prayers in schools and any kind of religious content, from the Ten Commandments to Christmas songs, remain widely opposed by litigious leftist organizations like the ACLU. (snip) Thatâs why CAIRâs guide telling schools how to treat Muslim students is so extraordinary. The Islamist organization lays out rules for Islamic school prayers and tells schools to consult with mosques about sex ed. It warns schools against allowing Muslim girls to interact with boys in co-ed environments like swimming and dancing. And, in a time when leftist governors and school boards force girls to shower with transgender boys

Susanna Gibson is running for Delegate to the Virginia Assembly, and until recently she was streaming sex and excretory acts online for money.
Now that the public has been informed of this fact, she is angry at Republicans for pointing this fact out, and the MSM is referring to the revelation as a âleakâ or even ârevenge porn." (snip) Consider this for a moment: Donald Trump had a crude conversation with Billy Bush (snip); he believed it was a private conversation, but it was taped, and became a campaign issue that almost finished him off. Gibson actively chose to stream sex acts to strangers, and she has an expectation of privacy?

President Joe Biden wants to shrink a Pacific Ocean marine sanctuary meant to protect endangered whales in order to accommodate offshore wind energy factoriesâone of them owned by a major Democratic donor.
The Biden administration late last month proposed cutting about 1,400 square miles of ocean and coastline from an Indian tribeâs proposed national marine sanctuary to make room for wind turbine infrastructure. One of these factories would belong to Invenergy, whose founder and CEO Michael Polsky has given more than $400,000 to Democrats since 2016. His company shelled out $2.4 million to lobby the White House, federal agencies, and Congress this year.

A double rainbow appeared over New York City on September 11, the 22-year anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attack on the United States.
âA real thing I just saw with my eyes,â New York City resident Meg wrote in a TikTok caption, sharing a video of the double rainbow spanning over downtown Manhattan, with one of them seeming to originate near where the World Trade Center once stood.

Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milleyâs end-of-tour award citation will include âgender-specificâ pronouns, although a recent change to Department of Defense (DOD) policy requires the use of gender-neutral language, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.
On Aug. 7, DOD updated a regulation for joint decorations and awards to require that officials use the âgender-neutralâ term âthemselfâ in lieu of âhimselfâ or âherselfâ when preparing recommendation letters for joint awards and citations. Milleyâs award citation, however, includes pronouns appropriate to his gender and will be processed for a final sign-off using that language, a spokesperson for the chairman told the DCNF on Sept. 5.

Republicans in Congress are investigating a claim from a high-ranking CIA officer that leadership at the agency offered monetary incentives to investigators to dismiss the lab leak theory of origin for the coronavirus.
The whistleblower alleges that six of the seven-member CIA COVID Discovery Team tasked with investigating the origins of the virus at the Wuhan Institute of Virology initially concluded that the virus originated in the lab, but they were given financial incentives to change their position to a zoonotic origin hypothesis. (snip) They say that the whistleblower is a "multi-decade, senior-level current Agency officer" and the information under review comes from "a seemingly reliable source."

The Biden administrationâs decision to restrict oil activity in Alaska last week will likely face at least one legal challenge, E&E News reported Monday. The Department of the Interior (DOI) declared Wednesday its intention to retroactively cancel seven leases in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) owned by the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA), (snip) The lease sales in question were mandated by Congress in 2017 to pay for the Trump-era tax cuts of that same year.
âA willingness to circumvent laws passed by Congress has consequences reaching far beyond ANWRâs boundaries, and will impact future development across this country,â AIDEA said,

I am hardly the first or the only person to note the fact that social justice ideology is simply a religious replacement for Christianity.
(snip) But my Alma Mater, Carleton College, surprised even me by hiring as its new Chaplain of the college an avowed atheist. (snip) I know that many people who do not believe in God still have a sense of justice, but for the most part, that sense is informed by a Christian tradition that they are actively attacking. Equality as a good is a particularly Christian concept, and based on the belief that whatever our individual differences we are all creatures of God.

A federal appeals court ruled against Mississippiâs permanent voting ban for certain felons, going against Supreme Court precedent in doing so. (snip) Judge Edith Jones countered in a dissenting opinion that the majority ruling itself contradicted the Constitution and reflected judicial activism. (snip) Jones also cited the Supreme Court precedent set in the 1974 case Richardson v. Ramirez, which determined that felon voting bans donât violate the Equal Protection Clause. In that case, the court ruled that the question of handling voting rights for felons should be hashed out in a legislative forum, and that it wasnât for their court to âchoose one set of values over another.â
