The No. 3 high school basketball player in Alabama died Thursday after collapsing on the court while playing the game he loved.
Pinson Valley High School senior Caleb White, 17, became ill around 1:15 p.m. while training with his teammates, according to his grandfather.
He suddenly dropped to the ground and was rushed to the hospital, but doctors couldn’t revive him, George Varnadoe Jr. said on Facebook.
“At 17, he was dead!!!!” Varnadoe wrote, adding that his grandson was an “honor student, very respectful, high intellect, excellent role model, phenomenal basketball player.”
“Our whole family was really looking forward to his upcoming senior season and afterwards,

Corporate America’s complete surrender to DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) standards and ESG (environmental, social and governance) efforts is only beginning to be exposed, as cowardly CEOs place greater importance on Corporate Equality Index scores issued by the left-wing Human Rights Campaign than they do the satisfaction of loyal consumers — see Bud Light.
One brand after another is suddenly in the headlines for selling out, sometimes costing them billions of dollars, as seen recently with Target and its “tuck-friendly” swimwear targeting children, and Best Buy seems eager to be next in line it seems.

Proterra, an electric bus company that received heavy backing from President Joe Biden’s administration, filed for bankruptcy on Monday.
The Burlingame, California-based EV company has been a source of controversy for the Biden administration because Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm hyped the company in her official capacity despite the fact that she previously served on Proterra’s board and held over a million dollars worth of stock in the company even after she was confirmed as the head of Biden’s Energy Department. /snip/ Three months into his presidency, Biden held a virtual tour of the electric bus company’s South Carolina factory to promote his $1.9 trillion infrastructure plan.

The 7-Eleven clerks who were seen in a viral video stopping and beating a shoplifter, who threatened to kill them and has robbed the location before, are now being investigated by Stockton Police for assault.
KCRA reports the shoplifter stole cigarettes on July 28 and threatened the clerk he would shoot him if he intervened. On July 29 at the same 7-Eleven, a worker said the suspect demanded money at the store while simulating that he had a handgun. When the worker didn’t comply, the suspect grabbed food items and put them in a garbage bag before leaving.

As if there is not enough going on out there to trouble your mind already, have you considered distinct possibility that the current PINO – the president-in-name-only – and his crypto-fascist clique would not allow Donald Trump to take office again if the Bad Orange Man somehow won the nomination and then defied the odds (I give him 15%) to somehow go Full Grover Cleveland? Because there is a real chance they would not.
Crazy talk? Yeah, but the crazy talk came from the lying piehole of our dust puppet alleged chief executive. He shamelessly told us – like he shamelessly told us he fired that Ukrainian prosecutor

Cops are trying to identify the baby-faced teens caught on wild video trashing an NYPD car in Union Square on Friday when Twitch star Kai Cenat’s unlicensed PS5 giveaway erupted in rioting — a melee City Hall blamed partly on “outside agitators.”
Police on Sunday released photos of six of the eight troublemakers estimated at between 14 and 18 years old who kicked, jumped on and danced atop a parked department car during the violent mayhem, which left at least seven people injured, authorities said.
Footage of the incident shows one teen leaping on top of the parked cop car and dancing while others are seen

House Republicans demand Attorney General Merrick Garland, President Joe Biden’s top law enforcement officer, provide answers as to why the Justice Department (DOJ) agreed to a plea deal with Hunter Biden that was “not standard” and “different” from what the judge normally sees.
Hunter Biden pled not guilty last Wednesday to gun and tax charges, refusing to accept a new plea deal laid out by prosecutors after negotiations fell apart due to questioning by Judge Maryellen Noreika about the “diversion agreement.” A diversion agreement is a deal between a defendant and a prosecutor

Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s longtime friend and business associate, is set to appear before the House Oversight Committee on Monday.
Archer is reportedly preparing to tell lawmakers that President Biden met with dozens of Hunter’s business associates while he was serving as vice president between 2009 and 2017. The hearing is not currently listed on the House Oversight Calendar.
/snip/ on Saturday, the Biden Department of Justice attempted to intimidate Devon Archer and prevent him from testifying today. The Biden DOJ sent out a letter on Saturday to Archer requesting he report to prison.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) has signed into law a plan that allows foreign nationals with work permits, some of whom are illegal aliens, to become police officers in the sanctuary state.
Democrat legislators, with a supermajority in the Illinois House and Senate, passed legislation in June that opens law enforcement jobs to thousands of illegal aliens enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program as well as thousands of other foreign nationals with work permits from the federal government.

Be afraid. Be very, very afraid. United Nations chief Antonio Guterres on Thursday night rolled out some of his most apocalyptic climate rhetoric to date declaring “the era of global warming has ended, the era of global boiling has arrived.”
He went on to lament how “terrifying” it is seeing children “swept away by monsoon rains, families running from the flames, workers collapsing in scorching heat.”
The veteran Portuguese socialist painted his picture of a world in peril during a streamed speech from U.N. headquarters in New York, returning once more to a theme of climate doom he has used almost without respite since he took office.

An official White House transcript of remarks by President Joe Biden on Tuesday appears to contradict a gaffe he made while speaking about mental illness, when he appeared to claim his administration had ended cancer.
Speaking about his “cancer moonshot,” his effort to find a cure for cancer, Biden said, “They looked at me like why cancer because no one thinks we can. That’s why. And we can. We ended cancer as we know it.”
Critics mocked Biden’s claim as both an example of his signature hyperbole ,and a sign of possible mental decline: But the White House transcript reads differently
