Generally speaking, central banks are empowered to control the supply of money by employing a number of tools that include buying government debt, selling government bonds, adjusting reserve requirements, and setting official interest rates. Operating under various legal mandates to sustain an overall healthy economy, central banks ostensibly pursue policies that will produce relatively low inflation, steady economic growth, and low public unemployment.
What if these stated goals are merely talking points meant to justify a central bank's continued monopoly over a nation's creation of money, and the true objective of any central bank is to maximize wealth for the wealthiest economic players?

The Biden hits just keep coming. Trust in government is collapsing. Americans are starting to wonder what passes for "normal" in Washington, if this is a return to normalcy. According to Pew Research, only about 20 percent of Americans trust the government to do what's right. That leaves 80 percent who expect government to do what is wrong — as in morally and ethically wrong.
Joe's fundraising is also lackluster. Politico reports that the Dems are concerned that Joe isn't inspiring their donor class anymore. If this keeps up, the party isn't going to have the money it needs to steal the next election.

Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis declared that as president he would eliminate the cabinet-level Departments of Education, Commerce, Energy, and the IRS.
DeSantis, who has delivered on multiple promises in his state during his tenure, made the comments while speaking to Fox News’ Martha MacCallum, who asked him if there were any federal agencies he would attempt to eliminate.“We would do Education, we would do Commerce, we’d do Energy, and we would do IRS,” DeSantis declared.
“If Congress will work with me on doing that, we’ll be able to reduce the size and scope of government,” he continued.

The famed National Geographic magazine has become the latest victim of those painful Disney cuts: several writers of the already picked-over publication were laid off Wednesday.
Roughly 19 editorial staffers were notified in April that the job cuts were coming, reported The Washington Post. In the decades during which I have followed politics and social issues, I have seen passionate disagreements among Americans. The Vietnam War was the focus of massive protests. Legalized abortion, after Roe v. Wade, was followed by bombings. Racial integration was accompanied by murders by racist militants. Unenforced laws, including immigration and retail theft, have left us feeling betrayed by our government. The list goes on. Somehow, we survived.
Then came the transsexual movement, complete with "drag-queen story hours" for young children. Some of those children have become the victims of surgical mutilation.
