While appearing at the 34th annual GLAAD Media Awards over the weekend, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted that trans kids are "our kids" and "belong to all of us" in response to what she called "anti-LGBTQ+ legislation." Speaking with the website Jezebel at the event on Saturday, Jean-Pierre, who identifies as "queer," talked about the importance of representation and visibility for young people. She also insisted that there needed to be more moments to "call out" Republican legislation for the sake of trans children. "There are more than 600 pieces of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation out there. The parents of "trans" kids, however, have a right to make decisions for "their own kids" (KJP's words).

No they are not. They belong to their parents and God. Education is only supposed to teach children the basics - science, math, grammar, music, art etc. As for subjects like morals and character, the church will teach that and not government. I firmly believe the government thinks they can substitute for God. If a child does not have a relationship with God, then the parents better have a good handle on what is being taught.

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon has overestimated the value of the weapons it has sent to Ukraine by at least $3 billion — an accounting error that could be a boon for the war effort because it will allow the Defense Department to send more weapons now without asking Congress for more money. The acknowledgment Thursday comes at a time when Pentagon is under increased pressure by Congress to show accountability for the billions of dollars it has sent in weapons, ammunition and equipment to Ukraine and as some lawmakers question whether that level of support should continue. It also could free up
