The Left’s Three-Part Strategy Targeting
The Supreme Court

I appeared earlier this week on the Jesse Kelly show on First TV to talk about The Left Targets The Supreme Court: Cornell Law Professor William Jacobson says the Democrats are increasing the pressure on the U.S. Supreme Court Justices.[Snip] Yes. Well, the US Supreme Court is really the one institution that has not been completely captured by the left. Congress goes back and forth, but certainly the Supreme Court conservative majority is going to be there for a long time, and it is driving them absolutely crazy that they can’t control absolutely everything.

Comments:

When asked about the protests at the residences of Supreme Court Justices and the White House hesitant to criticize it, to call it illegal, Professor Jacobson opined, “DOJ refusal to enforce statute prohibiting protests as Justices homes means ‘it’s essentially mob rule, whoever controls the streets is going to control everything.’” ~~~ A reminder from history: “’What do we have, a republic or a monarchy? Benjamin Franklin replied, ‘A republic, if you can keep it.’ Our responsibility is to keep it.”

The three part game plan: [Snip] FTA: WAJ (03:35): Yes. Well, the US Supreme Court is really the one institution that has not been completely captured by the left. Congress goes back and forth, but certainly the Supreme Court conservative majority is going to be there for a long time, and it is driving them absolutely crazy that they can’t control absolutely everything. And so I think it’s a three part game that they’re playing. ONE IS SIMPLY TO DIMINISH THE INFLUENCE OF THE COURT AND DIMINISH THE RESPECT OF THE COURT. And therefore you have calls for people from the progressive movement, but others also, to disregard Supreme Court decisions, disregard court decisions. So it’s to limit the influence of the court. THE SECOND ONE, I THINK, IS TO JUSTIFY SOME SORT OF COURT PACKING OR CHANGE IN THE NATURE OF THE COURT, BUT TO DO THAT, THEY’RE GONNA HAVE TO GET A LOT MORE VOTES THAN THEY CURRENTLY HAVE. So that’s probably not going to work out for them. And its polls very poorly, court packing. THE THIRD ONE, WHICH I THINK IS WHAT THEY’RE REALLY UP TO HERE, IS TO TRY TO PRESSURE ONE OR TWO OF THE JUSTICES TO RESIGN BY MAKING THEIR LIVES SO MISERABLE. SO THEY’RE PROTESTING OUTSIDE THEIR HOMES. THERE’S BEEN AN ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON ONE OF THEM. THEY ARE GOING AFTER FAMILY MEMBERS NOW. AND SO WHAT I THINK YOU’RE SEEING IS A LASHING OUT, TRYING TO PRESSURE ONE OF THE JUSTICES TO RESIGN OR WORSE. AND THEY WOULDN’T SAY IT, BUT I THINK THAT’S LURKING BEHIND, THAT MAYBE NEXT TIME ONE OF THESE PROTESTS WILL BE EFFECTIVE AND WILL EITHER INJURE OR KILL A SUPREME COURT JUSTICE. AND I THINK THAT’S PART OF WHAT THE GAME PLAN HERE. Of course, they’d never say that, and that probably isn’t the game plan of Dick Durbin, but these crazy activists who are out in front of the house, I think are up to no good. And I think there should be a lot more protection for these justices than they’re getting.” ... So what’s the next thing that somebody’s going to do that they’re going get away with? So once you break a norm, once you say that the things that have always guided us, even if they’re not written in law and they’re not written in stone, but they’ve always guided us as, as normative normal behavior, no longer apply, then there’s a whole slew of things that can happen. Dr. Michael Yeadon, who formerly served as Pfizer’s vice president and chief scientist for allergy and respiratory, explained how he knew the COVID virus, with its subsequent “vaccine” campaign, was a “supranational operation” designed “to injure people, to maim and kill deliberately.” Yeadon, who spent 32 years working mostly for large pharmaceutical companies, spoke to a reporter from Children’s Health Defense in March while attending a Truth be Told Rally in London.[Snip]“And when I saw not only my country locking down, but dozens of countries locking down at the same time … that was proof, and is still proof, of a supranational operation,” he said.

As we’ve been covering here at LI, the radical left has declared war on one of the three branches of our government. They are on the warpath because it’s the one branch of government over which they (now) have no control.[Snip]Protests are picking up steam again outside the private homes of conservative Supreme Court justices.[Snip]Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, has opened an investigation into the DOJ order to U.S. Marshals not to arrest illegal protesters outside justices’ homes.[Snip]It seems quite clear that the radical left won’t rest until they can appoint more leftist justices to the Court...

There’s one certainty in politics. If a Democrat is accusing a Republican of doing something, it is the Democrat who is inevitably actually doing it. That dynamic played out again Wednesday after a major revelation about Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor called into question all the recent left-wing attacks on Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch.(Snip)Well, they are going to have to call another hearing because it’s been revealed that Sotomayor took $3.6 million from a book company that did have business before the court at the time(Snip)The publishing company in question actually stood to lose money depending on how the court ruled,

“Color Revolution” is a term that has been around for a while and doesn’t have a single clear definition. Never letting a crisis go to waste is very useful tool, especially when the government creates the crisis. Political Prosecution of Trump “Tears at the Fabric of the Country” and is “a Master Manipulation by Democrats” I appeared this morning on the Tony Katz Show on Rumble to discuss the only thing anyone is talking about: The indictment and arraignment of Donald Trump. (Snip) And it was only prosecuted because Donald Trump’s running for president. I don’t think there’s a person on the face of this earth who thinks that this case would’ve been brought if three months ago or four months ago, Donald Trump had announced I am not running for president again. So that’s what this is about. This has all the appearances of a political prosecution.

Ohio is doing just fine with its “open” primary system, contrary to the alarmism of Jim Renacci. The former Republican congressman from Wadsworth argued last week that the system, under which voters can change their political party affiliation whenever they cast a ballot in a primary election, had been “abused” by Democrats and Republicans who switch parties to meddle in the affairs of the opposition party. “This is called primary ‘raiding,’ and it’s no way to run elections,” Renacci wrote in a guest column published in the Akron Beacon Journal. Does that happen? Probably, but not at the scale Renacci seems to believe.

Recently, while apologizing to "indigenous peoples" and denouncing Christians — without the all-important historical context — Pope Francis declared, "Never again can the Christian community allow itself to be infected by the idea that one culture is superior to others[.]" This — claiming all cultures are equal — is a dangerous position, not least as it leads to relativism and the abnegation of Truth. For most Western people today, the word culture conjures at best superficial differences — "exotic" dress or food. In reality, however, cultures are nothing less than entire and distinct worldviews with their own unique sets of right and wrongs, often rooted in a

It must have seemed to Democrats like a good idea at the time to encourage the idea that their most solid political base, African Americans, deserve payment from taxpayers for the harm that slavery did to their ancestors. Particularly when Donald Trump began making inroads in 2016, taking Hillary Clinton’s support among black males down to 82%, well below the 90s that Barack Obama enjoyed. Because bribing voting blocs with taxpayers’ money is such a familiar tool for politicians, this tactic didn’t raise alarm at first. In California, which likes to see itself as a trend-maker for the rest of the nation, the Democrat-dominated Legislature passed and Governor

I know Romanian corruption. When I was exiting the country in 1987 after investigating its collapsing economy, I made sure to bribe every guard who searched my luggage at the Bucharest airport with a pack of Kent cigarettes. But I neglected to give a pack to the soldier on the tarmac as I walked to my Lufthansa flight. He was soon screaming and waving his submachine gun in my direction. Whoops. After the fall of the Communist regime, the US State Department launched a program to help Romania curtail corruption. Vice President Joe Biden masterminded that effort from 2009 to 2016.
