The Leak Was the Op – White House and

Never letting a crisis go to waste is very useful tool, especially when the government creates the crisis. As CTH has said from the first discussion of the classified intelligence leaks, the “leak is the op.” The intel leak is the operation created by the Intelligence Community to support new expanded powers for the Fourth Branch of Government. (Snip) According to SSCI Chairman Mark Warner ‘The Restrict Act’ will give more power and authorities to the Executive Branch to deal with internet danger. Now the SSCI sees the classified intel leaks as evidence for the importance of the Restrict Act.

Comments:

The SSCI is the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. As noted above, Mark Warner (D) is Chairman of the committee and Marco Rubio (R) is Vice Chairman. Democrat members: Ron Wyden, Dianne Feinstein, Martin Heinrich, Angus S. King Jr., Michael F. Bennet, Robert P. Casey Jr., Kristen Gillibrand, Jon Ossoff. Republican members: James E. Risch, Susan M. Collins, Tom Cotton, John Cornyn, Jerry Moran, James Lankford, M. Michael Rounds.

This Act (Senate Bill 686) is a bipartisan bill that authorized the executive branch to shut down TikTok. It is also known as the ‘online Patriot Act’.

Correction for #1. The Senate Bill 686 (The Restrict Act) uses TikTok as an excuse to legalize censorship but the executive branch of government with the threat of long imprisonment and huge fines for anyone who says something they don't like.

There’s one certainty in politics. If a Democrat is accusing a Republican of doing something, it is the Democrat who is inevitably actually doing it. That dynamic played out again Wednesday after a major revelation about Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor called into question all the recent left-wing attacks on Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch.(Snip)Well, they are going to have to call another hearing because it’s been revealed that Sotomayor took $3.6 million from a book company that did have business before the court at the time(Snip)The publishing company in question actually stood to lose money depending on how the court ruled,

“Color Revolution” is a term that has been around for a while and doesn’t have a single clear definition. Political Prosecution of Trump “Tears at the Fabric of the Country” and is “a Master Manipulation by Democrats” I appeared this morning on the Tony Katz Show on Rumble to discuss the only thing anyone is talking about: The indictment and arraignment of Donald Trump. (Snip) And it was only prosecuted because Donald Trump’s running for president. I don’t think there’s a person on the face of this earth who thinks that this case would’ve been brought if three months ago or four months ago, Donald Trump had announced I am not running for president again. So that’s what this is about. This has all the appearances of a political prosecution.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The death penalty could be abolished in Ohio under upcoming bipartisan legislation announced Tuesday--the latest in what has been years of effort to end capital punishment in the state. (Snip) The Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association opposes the legislation, calling it “dangerous” and saying it would cut Ohio’s “worst criminals” a break. Republican Attorney General Dave Yost, a supporter of the death penalty, said in a statement that the bill provides a platform to discuss a needed overhaul of Ohio’s capital punishment system, calling it “a farce and a broken promise of justice.”

Ohio is doing just fine with its “open” primary system, contrary to the alarmism of Jim Renacci. The former Republican congressman from Wadsworth argued last week that the system, under which voters can change their political party affiliation whenever they cast a ballot in a primary election, had been “abused” by Democrats and Republicans who switch parties to meddle in the affairs of the opposition party. “This is called primary ‘raiding,’ and it’s no way to run elections,” Renacci wrote in a guest column published in the Akron Beacon Journal. Does that happen? Probably, but not at the scale Renacci seems to believe.

The easiest way to cut through the pretending nonsense is to ask the obvious question, ‘Why now?‘ The Florida Republican Legislature is changing the Sunshine Laws in Florida to block people from reviewing the travel records of the Florida Governor. [HB1495 Link] The claimed justification is security, to protect the governor and high-ranking state officials. However, the obvious timing of Ron DeSantis pending run for the White House, in combination with his administration refusing to give details on who/how the funding for his private charter flights have been taking place during the “book tour,” makes the new law much more suspicious as constructed.
