Famed novelist and radical leftist Stephen King accidentally outed himself as a transphobe while attempting to virtue signal his support of abortion on Thursday, and I can’t stop laughing.
King, who used to write really good horror novels, regurgitated the old tired trope that if men could get pregnant, there would be no restrictions on abortion.
“It has been said before, but it bears repeating: if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament,” he wrote on Twitter. [Tweet] Now, King may have thought he was exposing the hypocrisy of anti-abortion arguments, which are frequently made by conservative men who will never have to face the physical and emotional toll of

I don't have a problem with REAL Trans genders (if there are any) but it appears it's being used by Narcissists and Scammers to get their 15 minutes of fame and a wad of cash. How can a mentally deranged person that thinks they are something they are NOT get any attention other than a cell at the Nut House?

Hasn't had a good novel in decades, IMHO. Smoked too many doobies.

This should bring cheers from all the pro-life mothers and women out there.

There are no "real" trans, as #1 hypothesizes, just mentally deranged people.

Stephen King was an excellent writer with a vivid imagination. He was my favorite author forty years ago. You are your thoughts and he made a good living with his horror stories. He is a horror story.

Right now it's smart to be transphobic since some of these people have embraced violence as a way to get their way and to "be heard".
I watched a YouTube video a few days ago that really tickled me but I don't remember on which channel I saw it. An interviewer was on the Columbia University campus asking the students there if men could get pregnant and everyone agreed that was true. If they were with a group of friends, they wanted to make sure they gave the approved answer.
Then, the interviewer went to Harlem and asked the same question of kids in the same age group as those at Columbia. All who were interviewed gave various versions of "no" while laughing at such nonsense. Girls mentioned that men don't have a uterus; one of the young men burst out laughing and said "Hey man, we're NOT seahorses! Absolutely cracked me up. These kids knew more and had more common sense than the kids whose parents were shelling out thousands of dollars to give them an "education".

Many years ago, I was a voracious Stephen King reader, and The Stand is still one my favorite stories. But, even before he opened his stupid mouth on politics, his work began to seem to be formulaic, and I lost interest. I understand that he was so drunk while writing one of his novels (Cujo?) that he doesn’t even remember writing it.

#7, not just drunk. Before he was hit by that van he had a bad cocaine problem.
I was a huge fan until I started reading Insomnia (1994). About halfway through the book he took a stab at pro-lifers and that was it. Haven’t read a single word since.

#7 - Yes, I think "The Stand" is the one of the greatest 20th century novels. The movie they made for TV was really good as well. I've commented to TK many times lately that it seems like we're living in a cross between the third part of "Atlas Shrugged" and "The Stand".
Stephen King drank too much booze and snorted too much cocaine. He succumbed to the dark side.

Off topic but a funny story. One Christmas a few years ago, we were at my brother's house for dinner. I saw several Stephen King books laying about, obviously Christmas presents. I asked my brother if he liked Stephen King, he said, 'no, but Teresa and the kids do and I sleep with a gun under my pillow.'

#7 I think it was Tommyknockers.
Back before he went nuts, remember The Stand had a devout Christian heroine and at the end God triumphed. Still my favorite novel ever.

Steve, what is wrong with you, bro/girl. All you had to do was write books. How hard can it be.
