What Happens To A Country That Loses Its Mind?

To see biological males win “woman of the year” awards and others compete against women in sports, and at least one paid to promote sports bras, it’s obvious the American mind has slipped a few gears. But our current troubles are about more than celebrating what is clearly a mental illness that needs to be treated. We have lost our way almost entirely across the board. The locus of our insanity, one could argue, is Washington, D.C. The federal government developed a habit long ago of spending beyond its means. But the foolishness has reached new levels.

Democrats continue in their ways because they see that they can get away with it. It is WE the People who have silently allowed this to happen. Why do corporations go woke. because there is a fierce push backed by money from the other side. Only crickets from ours. Start organizing. Start boycotting. Start harvesting ballots. Make life hell for the Leftists from School Board meetings to Congress..

Free money and lack of self-control will make people stupid, and allow the nation to follow. Far too many are living "very well" paycheck to paycheck carrying the the interest on their debts. Too many are buying far beyond their means, getting little in return for their investments in such as "education." And why should government be any wiser? Regardless of political ideology, everyone wants something, and it all costs regardless. And with interest rates near zero for years, it's easy to finance. Until it isn't...and then the squawking grows over necessary programs, from defense to infrastructure to welfare and the viability of Social Security. So, let's tax the rich...that's always the solution. And the "rich" are those who make a dollar more than you do.

I don't think the country is losing its mind, it's the leaders of the country that have lost theirs along with corporate America. The vast majority of the people in this country are trying to live their lives as they did before, but the media, government and corporations are trying to push an agenda that most Americans aren't interested in.

What we are seeing today is what Romans chapter 1 labels as depraved minds. They are the product of supernatural foolishness caused by evil.

Over the past two years, vast numbers of Americans picked up and moved. In a mobile society like ours, that’s not news. What is news is where they are moving from, and where they are going to. Turns out, there’s a mass exodus underway, with people leaving Biden strongholds and heading to MAGA country. New Census data show that, from 2021 to 2022, more than 2 million people moved out of urban areas that are largely controlled by Democrats and relocated to exurbs and more rural areas that largely voted for Donald Trump. Los Angeles County, for example, had a net ex-migration of more than 363,000

History may someday record today as the beginning of the end of the internal combustion engine – and of individual liberty in the U.S. According to news reports, the EPA is scheduled to release proposed auto emissions standards today on new car sales so stringent that the only way for automakers to meet them would be to shift two-thirds of their fleet to electric. But wait. How can a regulatory agency do that? Consumers aren’t demanding electric cars. Lawmakers didn’t vote to force them on the public. The Environmental Protection Agency knows better, though, and, unless it’s neutered, plans to force EVs on you – for your own good.

It’s April but, with just 10 months to go, the clock is ticking down to January when the first two states (Iowa and New Hampshire) pick their favorites for president. The clear favorite for the Democrats is President Joe Biden, and for Republicans, former President Donald Trump. But neither contender can take their lead for granted, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. Look at the Democrats, for example. Biden is favored by 39% of Democrats and Democrat-leaning voters. That’s a four-point drop from 43% in March, according to the April online I&I/TIPP Poll of 662 Democrats/independents who lean Democrat, taken from

Whatever the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports today about job growth and the unemployment rate, you can bet that President Joe Biden will use it as an opportunity to brag about his superb handling of the economy. The one thing Biden is good at is lying with statistics. Biden will probably claim that he’s overseen a record number of new jobs – the most in history. The press will dutifully regurgitate White House talking points. But the numbers getting bandied about these days about job growth and unemployment are wildly misleading because they ignore important bits of context. Such as:

A number of columns and editorials in recent weeks have openly wondered if the notion of a nation ruled by laws — fair laws reasonably interpreted by well-trained, unbiased, disinterested judges — was dying. Sorry, but it might already be dead. The overtly political mugging of Donald Trump by a Soros-backed New York district attorney wielding a risible 34-count felony indictment that could put the ex-president behind bars for more than 100 years is bad enough. But the absurd nature of the accusations make clear the legal charges have nothing to do with the law, and everything to do with Democratic politics. It’s an obvious example of overreach

Ever since the beginning of the global warming debate, now labeled “climate change,” there has been one immutable yet little-known fact: All of the temperature data stations used to make determinations about the state of Earth’s temperature are controlled by governments. In June 1988, when Dr. James Hansen, then-director of NASA’s Institute for Space Studies in Manhattan, went before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee to say that, “global warming has begun,” he was using temperature data collected by governments worldwide from a weather station network that was never intended to detect a “global warming signal.”

When it comes to all things COVID, it seems as if the worm is turning. The past few weeks have seen the release of a “gold standard” report essentially saying the mask mandates did nothing, a pair of government agencies now say the “lab leak” hypothesis is most likely the correct COVID origin story, the “Twitter Files” are forcing society to look at the reality of government-induced censorship, and the legacy media is actually starting to run stories that maybe – just maybe – the whole lockdown thing may have been a teensy bit misguided.[snip] But the past three years have taught

The latest Social Security annual report, projecting that the Trust Fund will be exhausted in 2033, a year sooner than previously thought, politely explains that the Trustees “reassessed their expectations for the economy in light of recent developments.” What recent developments, you ask? Rising inflation, declining output, weakened GDP forecast, and worsening labor productivity. In other words, this is another bitter fruit from President Joe Biden’s poisoned economic tree. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen responded to the news about Social Security that “the Biden-Harris administration is committed to ensuring the long-term viability of these critical programs

Parents in America, as elsewhere, traditionally have been concerned with one big thing when it comes to their children: That their kids’ lives should be better than the preceding generation’s. And for decades, that optimism was a given. But now, people are not so sure, a new I&I/TIPP Poll suggests. Based on a growing body of evidence, both from the news and from a spate of recent studies and research, America’s parents, grandparents, teachers and others who make up the adult world today share a deep angst over how well their kids will do in the future. To find out how pervasive

Liberals might be scratching their heads over why potential Donald Trump rivals are rushing to denounce his indictment. The reason is simple. Conservative Republicans know that if this assault is allowed to stand, they will be next. The left, as well as the rabble of never-Trump Republicans, like to tell everybody that the unprecedented measures taken against Trump – culminating with this week’s indictment – are justified because he poses a unique threat to our precious democracy. Just to review, we’re talking about measures like Democrats impeaching him twice on the flimsiest of grounds. Like federal law enforcement

America and the rest of the world have suffered under big government’s smothering hand during the three-year COVID “emergency,” which has been used to silence critics and force obedience to nonsensical medical edicts. It’s time to reclaim our ancient liberties and live free again. And here’s a good start: A Republican-led bill to declare an official end to the COVID emergency passed the Senate for a third time Wednesday, this time by a 68-23 majority. While President Joe Biden “strongly” opposes the measure, a White House source told Associated Press, he’ll sign it anyway. Why?

The Biden administration unveiled the most aggressive tailpipe emissions ever crafted as part of its sweeping climate agenda and efforts to push Americans to buy electric vehicles (EV). The vehicle pollution standards, proposed Wednesday by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and announced by the White House, will impact car model years 2027 through 2032. The White House said the regulations would "protect public health" by achieving carbon emission reductions of nearly 10 billion tons by 2055 and would save consumers an average of $12,000 over the lifetime of vehicles. "Cars and truck manufacturers have made clear that the future of transportation is electric," the White House stated in a fact sheet.

Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the blast. The Castro County Sheriff’s Office confirmed with Fox News Digital the cows were in a holding area before being brought in for milking when the fiery blast engulfed the Southfork Dairy Farm in Dimmitt. The explosion rocked nearby houses and a pall of smoke could be seen 30 miles away. Very few cows in the holding area survived, officials told local outlet KFDA.

Earlier this week we found out that Biden was in on the unprecedented, unnecessary and unlawful raid on President Trump’s iconic home Mar-a-Lago. Now we know that Biden was totally behind the raid because he had to remove President Trump’s executive privilege so the raid could occur. Only Biden could do that. Right after the illegal raid on Mar-a-Lago, Attorney Mike Davis went on FOX News. He pointed out that the raid was unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful. President Trump had the Presidential Records Act that allowed him to take whatever documents he wanted, classified or not, with him to Mar-a-Lago when he left the White House.

Images of the classified documents that circulated on social media in recent days were posted to a popular messaging website as far back as January. The New York Times reported that the Biden administration will abuse EPA regulations to eliminate most real car sales by 2030. The plan is to force 67% of car sales to be electric by 2032. Most Americans won’t be able to afford them, but they’ll have no other options. Even the cheapest electric cars, which are still far more expensive than their real car counterparts and are just one battery problem away from turning into mostly unusable junk, are out of the price range of the majority of Americans who need an income of $80,000 to make an EV auto loan work. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has missed 60 of 82 votes taken this year, and her absence has prompted a whispering campaign suggesting she step down so that the Senate can confirm as many of Biden’s radical left judges as possible. Feinstein has been home since March 7 after being hospitalized for a bout of shingles. The Senate, which has been in recess since March 31, is set to reconvene on April 17. At that time, the Judiciary Committee will take up several judicial nominations, and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) believes that Feinstein’s absence will impede the Committee’s ability to vote the judges out. “I can’t consider nominees in these circumstances,
