‘I was screaming before you interrupted

Nobel Laureate Albert Camus once said, “Insurrection is certainly not the sum total of human experience but … it is our historic reality.” Those words came to mind this week when Tennessee’s House of Representatives expelled two members accused of disrupting legislative proceedings in what some called an “insurrection” or a “mutiny.” The scene on the floor of the Tennessee House perfectly captured our “age of rage.” Protesters filled the capitol building to protest the failure to pass gun-control legislation. However, they were in the minority in both the state and its legislature.

What's the difference between J6 and last week's Nashville political event? One was an insurrection and the other was also an insurrection. But the Nashville insurrection was praised and worshipped by the Democrats including wild Kammie and the MSM. You caint make this shite up. When the Americommies do it, it is an assembly of like minds.

Screaming and rage are the last resorts when you don't get your way, have neither logic nor facts on your side and have the emotional maturity of a two-year-old. Democrats without power are like toddlers, sometimes amusing but often irritating. Democrats WITH power are like toddlers with Tommy guns.

January 6 was most certainly NOT an “insurrection”. Not even close.

Too many Americans have lost their minds and lost sight of what this country offers...liberty, the freedom of others. We spend our time in "movements" that, at their heart, are meant to force others to comply with some standards of behavior or conduct that one or the other favors - always to create "justice" of some twisted sort. Regardless of political orientation, no one like to be told what and how to do things in a "free society". And it is compounded by the growing-to-universal war on Free Speech. Anything contrary to another's idea is immediately labeled as "inappropriate" or "hate". And we, the people, asked for it. Even among fairly like-minded people, alternative ideas or dissent is not acceptable. What happened on J6 was deplorable, and there's much to be exposed about it, particularly law enforcement's involvement and apparent incitement activities. What happened in Tennesee is no less deplorable - worse, actually, as it was incited by members from the chamber's floor disrupting the order of business. Expulsion was called for, no doubt. There should have been no exception for the third legislator, either - bullhorn or not. The worst thing that has happened over many years is a deepening mistrust of government. People of all stripes are pretty much done with crooked government. The saddest thing is that the gulf now between Americans is so wide, we fear one another more than a corrupt government that is reducing all our liberty, ignoring our laws and creating others to do so. The challenge is finding unity to clean this all up.

The leftists are always in the minority which is why they are always angry and scream. They think they're getting their message across and defeating those who disagree with them by doing so, but they're really just making the point that they're ideology is wrong.

I doubt anyone seriously believes that censuring the people involved would solve the problem. These people are revolutionaries. They are trained to do this (check our any leftist guidelines). Plus, as noted in the article, these children were in college as order and mutual respect had dissipated. Again, I'm also doubt most strongly that these two get a lot of much-desired notoriety and will never sit down and wait their turns for argument and debate. I repeat this, the Left always seeks total power and control. Even creepy Biden, some think he's only licking ice cream cones all day. He is passing down orders about gas stoves, lightbulbs, autos and more, and he is thoroughly enjoying it. You know that these EOs are only the beginning. More than once he has declared that half the country's citizens are "semi-fascists" and racists, and every other rotten thing his fevered brain can utter (reading off TOTUS... incidentally, I'm getting the sense that TOTUS may be gravitating to our side). So it is right that these two are expelled. Perhaps they could be reelected? I don't know. But they appear to be too arrogant to be remorseful and amenable to change/reform of their behavior.

Part of the problem with these screaming, raging, whiny juvenile Leftists aka Dem office holders at all levels of government, is that our side/conservatives/Republicans/normal Americans has not held them accountable over the years. You had Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House tearing up her official copy of President Trump's SOTU address and nothing was done to her. Her side applauded her while our side did the usual tsk tsk. Why do you think the Dems were/are so confident that they could steal the 2020 Presidential election and get away with it because they knew nothing would be down to them, even if there was full fledged investigation from DOJ on down to the local board of elections. And of course, Hillary and her cohorts got away with their attempts to destroy Donald Trump before he even got elected. If you don't deal with the problem early on then you are only post paining the eventual disaster.

This is what happens to a genteel society when the platform of Greek philosophy and logical debate are supplanted by the chaos and emotionalism of the West African mob. "Gimme dat bullhorn! If yoo all come to git me, den yoo all racist too!" For those who worry about being called a "racist," be advised that the terms, "race, racial, racism, racist" are found nowhere in the King James Bible, nor any modern translations, nor within the original manuscripts of Scripture. Note to American children, the act of "racism" is not a "cardinal sin," in fact, IT ISN'T A SIN AT ALL. Sorry for screaming.

It doesn't matter if you insult the noisy, ill-mannered Leftists because they don't care that they are inconsistent when they talk about "inclusiveness." The goal is to keep shouting and never allow the speaker to use reason to get their arguments across. Reason is the enemy. Consistency is for amateurs. Who cares if we're hypocrites? The goal is to shut conservatism down and it doesn't matter how. Using reason with these miscreants is useless. They don't hear it. These are biblical catastrophes: One demonic side shrieks, destroys, and intimidates all the while the other side tries using reason and decency. Who is going to win against these loons? Not the quiet, reasonable, honorable ones, that's for sure. Just as they are sent to destroy us, we must go out there and destroy them using methods that are legal, since we can no longer rely on the ballot box. A parallel economy gets us out of their world and into our own. We need to start taking it seriously yesterday.

Officials in the United States are scrambling to identify the source of an apparent breach of highly classified documents. The leak reportedly gives details on a range of topics, including Ukraine's air defense and Israel's spy agency. Chris Meagher, assistant to the secretary of defense for public affairs, told reporters on Monday that the online leaks presented a "very serious" risk to national security. What is the latest? Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has reached out to allies and worked to assess the leaks since he became aware of them on Thursday, Meagher said. The department is looking closely at "how this type of information is distributed and to whom," he added.

It was not immediately clear what prompted LaCombe's departure, however he is now the second Louisiana Democrat in less than a month to switch party affiliations, and the third nationwide after another state lawmaker in North Carolina did the same.

The FBI recently sought to develop sources inside Christian churches and Catholic dioceses as part of an effort to combat domestic terrorism, according to internal documents released by House Judiciary Committee on Monday. The internal documents — obtained last month by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La., who are also members of the so-called Weaponization Subcommittee — showed the FBI planned to use churches as "new avenues for tripwire and source development." The federal law enforcement agency also aimed to specifically target "mainline Catholic parishes" as part of its efforts.

This month, there was an “assault on democracy” in Tennessee. It was not three members halting the legislative process, but rather their expulsion. It appears that nothing says democracy like a bullhorn and obstructing legislative work. I recently wrote a column on how American politics has become a simple matter of amplification after Democrats stopped the Tennessee House proceedings with a bullhorn to protest the lack of gun control measures. I noted, “Today, for many, there is no room for nuance. Instead, they live in a world occupied only by ‘fascists’ and ‘insurrectionists.’ ” Right on cue, Vice President Kamala Harris and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) proceeded to add their own amplified voices

The last few weeks, the world had been writing off the United States as either crazy or irrelevant as it watches America cannibalize itself. Friends tremble at our sudden decline. Enemies rejoice. Neutrals make the necessary adjustments to join the ascendant non-American side. The symptoms of our decline abroad appear everywhere. The more Joe Biden brags about the crippling oil sanctions on Russia, friends like India and allies like Japan ignore them. And why not, when Biden has no idea how long the war in Ukraine will last, or how much wherewithal the United States can, should, or will give Kyiv, or how its on-to-Red-Square blank check will finally end?

The companies, they said, are exploiting American tax incentives to build facilities and projects in the U.S., bolstering Chinese industry and ensuring continued U.S. reliance on technology from China.

On Good Friday, I chanced across a photograph of the lower Manhattan skyline at night from Good Friday in April 1956. Three skyscrapers, dominating the space, feature certain windows illuminated to form gigantic crosses to commemorate that most solemn of Christian holidays. The year 1956 was not that long ago. But how much has changed in those 60-odd years! Can you imagine such a public display of Christian affirmation in New York today? Nor can I. That was then. Now things are different. I thought about that disjunction between then and now when reading through Washington’s Farewell Address this weekend.

The law that redefined death in 1981, referred to as the Uniform Determination of Death Act (UDDA), is being revised. The UDDA states that death by neurologic criteria must consist of "irreversible cessation of all functions of the entire brain, including the brainstem." However, in actual practice, doctors examine only the brainstem. The result is that people are being declared dead even though some still have detectable brainwaves, and others still have a part of the brain that functions, the hypothalamus. Lawyers have caught on, pointing out in lawsuits that the whole brain standard was not met for their clients.
