Upon receiving the news of the horrific killing of six people, including three nine-year old children, by a deranged and troubled shooter in Nashville, the Democrats and their stenographers in what passes as our “news” media immediately began their cultish ritual: knee-jerk calls for stricter gun control. In a revealing exchange between CNN’s Dana Bash and Rep. Dan Crenshaw, Bash accused House Republicans of loving guns more than children. She asked:
"Are you…telling the American people that mass shootings, including of young children, is just something that’s going to happen and you’re not going to make any moves, at this point to try to stop it?

Crenshaw could just tell the truth.
Yes, more guns are the answer,
because people like you keep voting for more and more insane BS
until more guns are the only answer...

Well, yes Dana. Just like the ones the Secret Service carry to protect pResident Biden and his family, and probably the ones the security guards in your office building carry to protect you.
Actually I don't totally agree with armed police in each school - we saw how the police handles Uvalde and Parkland with their resource office cowering. How about willing and professionally trained teachers, and other staff at each school carrying a weapon.

We use armed guards to protect our money, but do not protect our children. Make sense?
The Wild West was won because good guys also had guns. People were allowed to defend themselves,
Dems USE kids to push their agenda of getting guns out of the hands of Americans, to save kids. But will donate millions to planned parenthood. Guess those kids are not useful to Dems!

There were no school shootings in my day.
Of course back then we teenagers mostly drank beer, or a little shine and Orange Juice.
We didn't have access to the drugs kid have today.
We didn't have open homosexuality or transgenders and our schools were not integrated.
I know that will upset many people, and I don't say that was better, only that it was a fact.
We had principles who had authority to use a paddle, and when it was used we didn't go home and tell our parents, because we would get it again.
We had access to guns---in fact we brought them to school when the FFA had a shooting contest.
Seniors sometime had guns hanging in a rack in back of a pick up truck.
Most pick-ups had a gun rack in the rear window. We had school dances and parents as Chaperones.

Over 20,000 gun laws in the US now Dana and this shooter broke every one of them so what new law would you write that would have stopped this crime? I’ll wait.

While I appreciate Mr. McDonough's logical dissection of the Bash-Crenshaw interview, it really makes no difference. Leftists do not operate on logic at the macro-scale. Only the microscale leaders of Leftist ideology, policy, and action think logically. The macro-scale effect is to emotionally charge ignorant and stupid people to act on their most basic and illogical impulses, thereby causing the chaos that permits Leftists to operate.
McDonough's appeal to logic is illogical to these people because... feelings.

Crenshaw wants Red Flag Laws so corrupt government goons can take rights away on a whim from whoever.

Had I been in Dan Crenshaw’s place, I would have replied that what with abortion, selling off baby parts to the highest bidder, mandatory masking and poisonous vaxxing, grooming, sexualizing and trafficking our youngest and most vulnerable, the democrat party is the party of child sacrifice on the alter of Baal, and they hardly have the moral standing to accuse anyone of “loving guns more than children.”

Tennessee is very close to passing legislation to further harden government and private schools AND providing the funding to ensure it can occur. https://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx? This legislation was already in the pipeline when the shooting happened. The #Tennessee3 voted against it. They want red flag laws and gun confiscation not preservation of rights along w/safety.
AND a reminder, they were not kicked out because of the gun issues or racism, they were kicked out for violating the rules as provided for in the Tennessee Constitution regarding decorum in the House chamber. Something they each readily confessed to doing. The woman barely got by because she didn't preach at the members and admitted to some bad actions. They shut down the session and so interfered with the people's business.
I'm hoping that while their local elected bodies may appoint them back to the legislature that the Republican supermajority will refuse to seat them. They learned nothing. They are not remorseful. They will get worse if allowed back.

Guns do not kill; people kill. Knives do not kill; people kill. Drugs do not kill; people who buy and sell them do. let's go after the real problem; people with mental illness and evil people.

Yes, the solution is often MORE GUNS...in the hands of good people.
This is what law enforcement is all about, this is what self defense is all about and also national defense.
Yes, you ignorant talking head fool, good people using guns and other tools to protect innocents from bad people is THE NORMAL ANSWER which has served for millennia. If you leftist are so disconnected from reality to not grasp this simple truth, they that is YOUR problem.

There is ONE thing that has actually stopped more school shootings than anything else, it is the ONLY thing that has ever stopped a school shooting before the perp ran out of ammo.
SHOOTING THEM!
The sooner that happens the fewer deaths....in fact, the death of innocents stops the very moment the 1st shot gets fired at every single school shooter.
The next question should be and is...what is the best gun to Shoot at the shooter with? Lets get THEM into every location where a shooter is a risk.
The studies have been done, and there is universal, unanimous consensus, the very BEST guns to use against a school shooter are high capacity semi auto hand guns, backed up with high capacity AR15's.
The consensus is SO clear, that every single responding team that arrives at every school shooting either has them, or immediately calls for them. Instead ...they should already be on scene, either in the hands of cops or any school employee or volunteer that is willing to be "That Guy" who steps up and stops the shooter. They do not even have to be constantly carried, biometric gun lockers staged throughout the buildings, with any/every person qualified already scanned and entered into all of the locks will have ready access if/when needed. Someone who works in any building everyday knows their way around better than any cop, is already there, will instantly recognize anyone who should not be there...though in an incident like these the "Bad Guy" is easy to identify...he is the ONLY one shooting at kids and employees.

Or you could approach it from a different angle: We need more guns for protection from the cultural rot that Democrats created and perpetuate. Our inner cities have been destroyed, and it's way past time to draw the line and fight back.

That's the problem, every time there is a shooting, moves are being made to stop further shootings. Problem is they are always the wrong moves. The killer in Nashville has been made a hero by the evil forces in this country instead of being condemned for the monster that she was. Our guns are still out here, innocent and reliable, waiting for the day when they will be called upon to do their duty.

There are already existing "Red Flag" laws that can and will disarm "Crazy" people, like the ones who have done the school shootings, mental defectives, seeing councilors already, with suicidal idealization, schizophrenia(thinking they are someone else, of a different gender) Most have already had their parents /family try to have them disarm "voluntarily" but that same family refused to take the next step and have the "Law" get involved, the "Mental Health processionals" already medicating the crazies also failed to report them.

#15, it's those dead eyes in the head of Dana Bash. No compassion, no sympathy, no humanism, just spewing the progressive line at every occasion like a dumb robot that cannot think for itself. She is the true face of CNN.

For several years now, our small town Texas elementary school, located in a largely rural county, have large signs in and at the entrance to parking lots and student pick up and drop off areas. To paraphrase, the signs say, 'Our teachers and staff are trained and armed and will take any appropriate action to protect our children.' It must be noted that in the mostly rural/small town areas of Texas, such signs are not necessarily a necessary deterrent. When your majority population, as well as your minority population, including a sizable portion of recent immigrants, share similar values in terms of protecting children and supporting individual right of self defense, such warnings seldom reach the intended audience, which are overwhelmingly located in the large, democrat run cities, where the values run towards big government Marxism and the curtailment of individual rights in favor of the groups who may be the 'flavor of the day,' pandered to by democrats.
