U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut says he expects to undergo surgery to repair a broken leg he suffered Saturday during a victory parade for the University of Connecticut men’s basketball team. In a tweet Saturday night, Blumenthal said a fellow parade goer tripped and fell on him during the event in Hartford, Connecticut, to celebrate the team winning the NCAA basketball title on April 4 in Houston. The 77-year-old Democrat said he was awaiting “routine surgery” on his femur scheduled for Sunday and expects a full recovery. “What can I say, I love a parade!” he tweeted.

"Danang" Dick Blumenthal said he served heroically in the Viet Nam war but never suffered a scratch. He ran for and won his senate seat telling voters about his illustrious past. "But," you say, "that was all a lie." Of course it was a lie, but progressive Democrats in Connecticut consider left-wing ideology more important than personal integrity. That applies to Democrats nationally, sad to say. He broke his leg, sob!

Broken femur let tough as nails, soldiering on! Well, fake-soldiering on. The largest bone in our body, it usually takes a fall or an auto accident to fracture it. But there can be small fractures - painless and unknown to the person - due to osteoporosis. I loathe Bogus Blumenthal so will say no more.

A black man has been accused of shooting two white men in the back of the head in what authorities are describing as a racially motivated hate crime in Oklahoma. Carlton Gilford, who is homeless, allegedly shot Lundin Hathcock, 35, and James McDaniel, 55, in two different shootings on April 18, according to the Tulsa Police Department. He allegedly killed Hathcock in Rudisill Library around 9.40am. He reportedly walked up behind Hathcock, who was sitting at a desk, and shot him. Shortly after, he allegedly went to a nearby QuikTrip convenience store and shot McDaniel. After he fell to the ground, Gilford shot him again.

What a lost opportunity for the United States. Had Harry and Meghan the grace to accept largesse and privilege, they would have played a key role at the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla. Surely they would have been front-row. Surely they would have had a place on the balcony. And surely U.S. would have been represented in Great Britain as never before — as part of the monarchy! Never underestimate how awed we Americans are by British pomp and circumstance, the history that dwarfs our own, the displays of military might and national pride. The coronation matters to us, too. Saturday’s ceremony also offered a reassuring display of familial unity,

As such, it’s time to shut down the border until those charged with securing it can put a plan in place to actually do just that. Honestly, the Biden administration had no intention of securing the border. Flooding the country with illegal aliens

Granted, with Joe it’s always difficult to tell if his gaffes are because of his age and the natural mental deterioration that goes with it, or just his general low intelligence – he was stupid long before he was senile. As Barack Obama famously put it, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.” All of which begs the question: If Biden is so far gone and so wildly unpopular, why haven’t any serious Democrats stepped up and challenged him for the 2024 nomination?
