The British media is abuzz with reports of Queen Elizabeth II’s disdain for Meghan Markle. According to a new report, the Queen referred to Markle as “evil” and regretted that her grandson, Prince Harry, ever met her, describing their relationship as a “complete catastrophe.” The source quoted in The Spectator stated that it was out of character for the Queen to use such a word to describe anyone. Markle did not attend the coronation of King Charles III, and according to Royal biographer Tom Bower, the Queen expressed relief that Markle was not coming to Prince Philip’s funeral.

Comments:

So, in other words, Her Majesty had Walmart Wallis pegged from the get-go. If Hapless had still needed her permission to marry, I doubt he would have received it and La Markle would be just another failed actress showing her boobs on little-known Netflix movies.

I was surprised and happy that Harry was marrying an American. Then I got to know Meghan Markle and immediately began to get a bad feeling. If you want to know about a person, watch how they treat their family. Meghan's father loved her and pretty much raised her himself since her mother was a bit of an airhead. He helped her in her career and introduced her to people who could help her as well. And then she threw him under the bus. That is when I began to dislike her and the feeling has only grown.

Still don't get any American's fascination with British royalty, or any royalty for that matter. I thought we left monarchies in the rearview mirror a long time ago. I guess it's just more of the bread and circuses to steer as many away from how abysmally everything is going here in the USA (former").

Supposedly QEII described MM as "evil" a month before QE passed away. She probably knew her time was short, and didn't much care about being diplomatic any more. She had the right, and probably did her family a service by confirming what they secretly thought. If her honesty keeps Walmat Wallis out of the RF inner circle, she performed one of her last and best duties to the crown.

It probably was out of character publicly for the queen to make a statement about Markle, but privately, it was the sentiment of every member of the royal family. Harry displayed being an idiot years before he met Meghan the grifter.

Harry and Meghan started off with tremendous goodwill from the British people. They then proceeded to destroy that goodwill with their conceit, entitlement, grievances, whining and nasty attitudes. In other words, they proved to all that they are not royalty.

More than 25 school employees were arrested for sexual misconduct with students over the past week alone — including a teacher who bombarded a boy with 600 text messages and another who performed oral sex in a classroom. In what has become a surging nationwide epidemic, teachers, counselors, and other staffers — both men and an increasing number of women — are targeting students for sexual gratification. Indiana high school teacher Paige Simon, 28, was arrested last week for allegedly touching a male student’s groin in front of classmates and sending him 600 text messages — including some that contained explicit language and discussion of sex toys.

Shortly after, he allegedly went to a nearby QuikTrip convenience store and shot McDaniel. After he fell to the ground, Gilford shot him again.

What a lost opportunity for the United States. Had Harry and Meghan the grace to accept largesse and privilege, they would have played a key role at the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla. Surely they would have been front-row. Surely they would have had a place on the balcony. And surely U.S. would have been represented in Great Britain as never before — as part of the monarchy! Never underestimate how awed we Americans are by British pomp and circumstance, the history that dwarfs our own, the displays of military might and national pride. The coronation matters to us, too. Saturday’s ceremony also offered a reassuring display of familial unity,

The Mayor of New York City can regularly be heard complaining about the strain placed on his city by the flood of illegal aliens shipped to the sanctuary city by red state Governors. Now the city of Chicago is joining the chorus of Democrat-run localities that advocate for open borders that are now choking on their wish. While it’s fun to watch, it is damaging to America. As such, it’s time to shut down the border until those charged with securing it can put a plan in place to actually do just that. Honestly, the Biden administration had no intention of securing the border. Flooding the country with illegal aliens

Specifically, Politico's latest dispatch on First Family intrigue deals with Biden's prerecorded video announcement last week that the commander in chief would run for re-election in 2024, a decision that came after more than a little speculation

You sit back and watch President Joe Biden and it’s impossible to believe he’s on the ball; that he is all there mentally. Granted, with Joe it’s always difficult to tell if his gaffes are because of his age and the natural mental deterioration that goes with it, or just his general low intelligence – he was stupid long before he was senile. As Barack Obama famously put it, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.” All of which begs the question: If Biden is so far gone and so wildly unpopular, why haven’t any serious Democrats stepped up and challenged him for the 2024 nomination?

Two weeks ago, President Joe Biden announced that he is running for reelection in 2024, promising to “finish the job”. What exactly does he want to finish, other than American exceptionalism as we know it? America is rapidly imploding on many fronts – financial and economic, cultural, safety, and our place in the world. Does finishing the job mean erasing every achievement of former President Donald Trump? Or is he completing former President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign promise, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America"?

My friend and colleague, Dr. Maryanne Demasi has been studying the use of statins for years. She just had her meta analysis published in "JAMA Internal Medicine." This is an extremely important paper.(snip)The public health mantra about cholesterol has always been “the lower, the better.” This has been reflected in expert guidelines which have called on doctors to aggressively lower their patient’s ‘bad’ LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C) with statin drugs to prevent heart disease. However, our new analysis published in JAMA Internal Medicine (paywalled) challenges that notion. Over the years, influential researchers such as the Cholesterol Treatment Trialists (CTT) at Oxford University, have monopolised the scientific debate on statins. But there are three problems with the various CTT analyses:
