More than 25 school employees were arrested for sexual misconduct with students over the past week alone — including a teacher who bombarded a boy with 600 text messages and another who performed oral sex in a classroom.
In what has become a surging nationwide epidemic, teachers, counselors, and other staffers — both men and an increasing number of women — are targeting students for sexual gratification.
Indiana high school teacher Paige Simon, 28, was arrested last week for allegedly touching a male student’s groin in front of classmates and sending him 600 text messages — including some that contained explicit language and discussion of sex toys.

A black man has been accused of shooting two white men in the back of the head in what authorities are describing as a racially motivated hate crime in Oklahoma.
Carlton Gilford, who is homeless, allegedly shot Lundin Hathcock, 35, and James McDaniel, 55, in two different shootings on April 18, according to the Tulsa Police Department.
He allegedly killed Hathcock in Rudisill Library around 9.40am. He reportedly walked up behind Hathcock, who was sitting at a desk, and shot him.
Shortly after, he allegedly went to a nearby QuikTrip convenience store and shot McDaniel. After he fell to the ground, Gilford shot him again.

What a lost opportunity for the United States.
Had Harry and Meghan the grace to accept largesse and privilege, they would have played a key role at the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla.
Surely they would have been front-row.
Surely they would have had a place on the balcony.
And surely U.S. would have been represented in Great Britain as never before — as part of the monarchy! Never underestimate how awed we Americans are by British pomp and circumstance, the history that dwarfs our own, the displays of military might and national pride.
The coronation matters to us, too.
Saturday’s ceremony also offered a reassuring display of familial unity,

The British media is abuzz with reports of Queen Elizabeth II’s disdain for Meghan Markle. According to a new report, the Queen referred to Markle as “evil” and regretted that her grandson, Prince Harry, ever met her, describing their relationship as a “complete catastrophe.”
The source quoted in The Spectator stated that it was out of character for the Queen to use such a word to describe anyone.
Markle did not attend the coronation of King Charles III, and according to Royal biographer Tom Bower, the Queen expressed relief that Markle was not coming to Prince Philip’s funeral.

Former first lady Michelle Obama this week announced her latest initiative, co-founding PLEZi Nutrition in an attempt to “raise healthier kids.”
“I’m proud to announce the national launch of a company designed not just to provide better products, but to jump-start what I hope will be a race to the top that will transform the entire food industry,” Obama said while delivering a speech at the Wall Street Journal’s Future of Everything Festival.
Obama penned the “about” page of the PLEZi website, in which the former first lady claimed to have dedicated “so much” of her life to help children live healthier lives, pointing to her White House “Let’s Move!” initiative.

There's a new report from a leftist outlet today accusing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, Ginni Thomas, of enrolling a child in private school, having the tuition paid by a wealthy and longtime friend and failing to disclose the payments on his financial statements to the Court.
In 2008, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas decided to send his teenage grandnephew to Hidden Lake Academy, a private boarding school in the foothills of northern Georgia. The boy, Mark Martin, was far from home. For the previous decade, he had lived with the justice and his wife in the suburbs of Washington, D.C.

Is there such a thing as a high school class that kids will volunteer to audit, just so they can learn something? New York City’s Stuyvesant High School has one.
According to The Villager, math teacher David Peng answered the call of one of his students and began teaching a one-semester course in personal finance. SHS is a STEM magnet school and, as the report says, “In a sea of AP Calculus and advanced and abstract algebra classes, personal finance has struck a chord with many students who say they want a practical class that offers real-life information.”
But the one-semester class has gone full-time

The Mayor of New York City can regularly be heard complaining about the strain placed on his city by the flood of illegal aliens shipped to the sanctuary city by red state Governors. Now the city of Chicago is joining the chorus of Democrat-run localities that advocate for open borders that are now choking on their wish. While it’s fun to watch, it is damaging to America. As such, it’s time to shut down the border until those charged with securing it can put a plan in place to actually do just that.
Honestly, the Biden administration had no intention of securing the border. Flooding the country with illegal aliens

There's been much speculation and even more joking about how President Joe Biden seemingly relies on handlers to get him through the rigors of carrying the "leader of the free world" mantle, but new reporting on Monday makes it clear that First Lady Jill Biden is one of the main players when it comes to managing and guiding major strategic decisions that, in the end, are attributed to the president.
Specifically, Politico's latest dispatch on First Family intrigue deals with Biden's prerecorded video announcement last week that the commander in chief would run for re-election in 2024, a decision that came after more than a little speculation

You sit back and watch President Joe Biden and it’s impossible to believe he’s on the ball; that he is all there mentally. Granted, with Joe it’s always difficult to tell if his gaffes are because of his age and the natural mental deterioration that goes with it, or just his general low intelligence – he was stupid long before he was senile. As Barack Obama famously put it, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.” All of which begs the question: If Biden is so far gone and so wildly unpopular, why haven’t any serious Democrats stepped up and challenged him for the 2024 nomination?

Transportation. Energy. Labor. These areas are key to our nation’s infrastructure and what helps to unify the United States of America. After having taken a cross-country trip on some of those “racist roads” Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg likes to spout about, I had a birds-eye view of just how dependent we are on the sound and fluid operation of our transportation systems, not to mention their safety, and maintenance. So, why has the Biden administration promoted incompetent people to helm these positions of great importance?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Remember Deputy Assistant Secretary of Nuclear Energy Samuel Brinton? We would all like to forget about him,
