Billionaire Hansjörg Wyss, a Swiss national who lives in Wyoming, has become a “Democrat-aligned mega-donor,” according to the Associated Press (AP), thanks to his funneling hundreds of millions of dollars to left-wing groups. “Newly available tax documents show that his giving through the Berger Action Fund, which describes itself as advocating for ‘solutions to some of our world’s biggest problems,’ swelled in 2021 to $72 million, cementing Wyss’ status as a Democratic-aligned megadonor,” the AP reports.

Is there some way these megalomaniac foreign billionaires can be banned from the United States? It’s bad enough that they’re here but they create these damned non-profit foundations and think tanks that fund the destruction of our country!

"Though he is barred by U.S. election law from donating directly to candidates and political action committees (PACs), Wyss donated almost $120,000 to candidates and PACs from 1990 through 2006, according to the Times. The Federal Election Commission (FEC) never brought formal complaints against Wyss and the statute of limitations has since passed to do so." Strange indeed that while living in the Deep Red State of Wyoming, he illegally spends MORE funding extreme left candidates and activists than the entire STATE donates to all causes combined.

It is sad that money or influence can buy candidates. I would like a candidate to run on their OWN monies and no one else's campaign contributions. It has become so ridiculous that a candidate has to be endorsed or financially supported by another person. Now, of late, it is the extremely wealthy like this billionaire who can sway an election.

It's becoming obvious the people setting policy in our government aren't our elected officials. How many people have they bought off? They don't even need to buy off elected officials. Just buy off the staff member of the elected official that tells him/her what to sign. That is not the way our government is supposed to work.

For decades IQs were climbing in the Western World. It was called the “Flynn effect.” Average IQs were defined as 100 in each succeeding iteration of the IQ test, as by definition the average was normed to 100. But if you rescored earlier IQ tests based upon prior norms, the average IQ would have increased by about 15 points or one standard deviation. In other words, if you took an IQ test in 1942 and scored 100, by today’s scoring you would have an IQ of 86. That is, until the past 10 or so years. In the past 10 years, IQs have been dropping, and dropping pretty fast.
