Dianne Feinstein’s absence from the Senate is holding up Joe Biden’s judicial confirmations. Feinstein, 89, has been MIA since she was hospitalized for shingles last month. The California senator’s absence from the Senate Judiciary Committee has the panel deadlocked at 10-10.It is unclear when Feinstein will return Washington. “I can’t consider nominees in these circumstances, because a tie vote is a losing vote in committee,” Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin told CNN. “We still have some nominees left on the calendar that we can work on. …

Feinstein’s voting record was far left, but she posed as a moderate. Her mode was to occasionally grandstand with a pronouncement in opposition to the democrat parry line. Then after a few days, she would backpedal. As Rush said, “watch what they do, not what they say.”

About 10 years ago, at age 60, I had an absolutely horrendous case of shingles which covered about half of my torso. I saw my doctor, was prescribed steroids and antibiotics and sent home. Not one nanosecond in a hospital. I’m betting that shingles is just an excuse and that something far worse is actually the problem. But, if they can, the demonicrats will bring her back and prop her up like a Soviet leader at an arms parade.

I know that Feinstein was 50 centuries ago, but they do have a preventive shot for shingles. She should've gotten that during her yearly taxpayer funded check-up at the morgue. As it stands now her being gone prevents her buddy Little Dick Durbin from pushing through more idiotic Biden judicial nominees. I myself see no problem with that but I remember how the democrats wheeled out my former senator KKK Grand Imperial Wizard Robert Byrd so he could babble on and vote. They might do the same to old Dianne.

The United States saw 32,000 fewer abortions in the six months after the U.S. Supreme Court issued the Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade, according to a report. The Society of Family Planning, a left-wing non-profit that “believe[s] in just and equitable abortion and contraception informed by science,” published its #WeCount report on Tuesday. The group describes the #WeCount report as a “national abortion reporting effort that aims to capture the shifts in abortion access by state” following the Dobbs decision. The study was accomplished by collecting data from abortion providers nationwide, including clinics, private medical offices, hospitals, and virtual clinics. More than 80 percent of known providers responded,

Now we know that Biden was totally behind the raid because he had to remove President Trump’s executive privilege so the raid could occur. Only Biden could do that. Right after the illegal raid on Mar-a-Lago, Attorney Mike Davis went on FOX News. He pointed out that the raid was unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful. President Trump had the Presidential Records Act that allowed him to take whatever documents he wanted, classified or not, with him to Mar-a-Lago when he left the White House.

The Biden administration unveiled the most aggressive tailpipe emissions ever crafted as part of its sweeping climate agenda and efforts to push Americans to buy electric vehicles (EV). The vehicle pollution standards, proposed Wednesday by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and announced by the White House, will impact car model years 2027 through 2032. The White House said the regulations would "protect public health" by achieving carbon emission reductions of nearly 10 billion tons by 2055 and would save consumers an average of $12,000 over the lifetime of vehicles. "Cars and truck manufacturers have made clear that the future of transportation is electric," the White House stated in a fact sheet.

History may someday record today as the beginning of the end of the internal combustion engine – and of individual liberty in the U.S. According to news reports, the EPA is scheduled to release proposed auto emissions standards today on new car sales so stringent that the only way for automakers to meet them would be to shift two-thirds of their fleet to electric. But wait. How can a regulatory agency do that? Consumers aren’t demanding electric cars. Lawmakers didn’t vote to force them on the public. The Environmental Protection Agency knows better, though, and, unless it’s neutered, plans to force EVs on you – for your own good.

She did not, however, mention Governor Asa Hutchinson or Vivek Ramaswamy by name who have officially entered the GOP primary race. Governor DeSantis has not officially entered the race but that isn’t stopping the others from jumping ugly on him. Things are so bad there that Whole Foods, an iconic liberal company, has shut its flagship store in that city after just one year of operation, due to rampant crime and drug use that, the company said, made it impossible to assure the safety of its employees. But when it comes to commercial real estate, San Francisco, while very bad, is not the bottom of the barrel. John Phelan reports on a series of corporate departures from Minneapolis and St. Paul.
