A Fox News meteorologist was pummeled by a group of teens when he tried to stop them from harassing another straphanger on a Manhattan subway early Sunday, cops and the prognosticator said. Weatherman Adam Klotz, 37, recounted the vicious attack in an Instagram video, appearing bruised and battered as he described how he was coming home on a train after watching the New York Giants NFL playoff game at a bar when he saw “this older gentleman was being hassled by this group of seven or eight teens. “I was like, ‘Yo, guys, cut that out.’

I would Quit my job before I needed to do that. Take an Uber! My 24 year old Granddaughter lives in Brooklyn (she is new to NY) and takes the Subway to Manhattan for work. Worries me every, single day! But! You can't convince a Young person that maybe they should take a Job in a better STATE! She loves NY! So, I just pray that nothing happens to her. She does take an Uber if going home late at night. Looks to me, though, that the Subway is just as dangerous in broad daylight!

The Doomsday Clock — used to represent how close the world is to catastrophe — now stands at just 90 seconds to 'midnight.'   The Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic, which runs the symbolic timepiece, said Russia's war in Ukraine is why humankind is the 'closest it has ever been to annihilation.' The clock had been sitting at 100 seconds from midnight since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and global warming fears. But the threat of nuclear weapons being used on the battlefield has upgraded the threat level. Kristi Noem's personal cell phone was hacked and used to make hoax calls, her office announced on Monday. The breach, the South Dakota governor alleges, was due to the January 6 select committee's 'mishandling' of her personal information. Noem, 51, is calling on Attorney General Merrick Garland as well as several congressional committees to investigate the leak of not just her cell phone number, but also her family's personal information like Social Security numbers. The hack of the GOP governor's personal cell phone comes after the January 6 panel released last year White House visitor logs from Donald Trump's presidency, which included the un-redacted personal information Noem is referencing.

The First Amendment is the bedrock of American liberty. Our citizens have the right, if not civic duty, to engage in open, dynamic discourse, and no government has the right to limit, suppress, censor or otherwise control it. Yet as we dig deeper into discovery in our Big Tech censorship case — Missouri and Louisiana v. Biden — we uncover ever-more truly appalling abuses of power that President Joe Biden’s director of digital strategy, Rob Flaherty, admitted come from “the highest (and I mean highest) levels of the” White House.

It has again become openly fashionable to rhetorically complain about excessive government spending. One can wax eloquent about the fundamental insincerity of the complaint, but this misses a rather elemental and important point: it is possible to reduce the ongoing deficits of the Federal government. The simple mechanism for doing so is tax cuts.  I have written about this previously, illustrating that every tax cut ever enacted since John F. Kennedy has increased revenue to the Federal government. Now it must be said and almost always is pointed out among critics that in the first year of collection, revenues go down. But what is absolutely clear
