A group of black Americans settled their lawsuits against two United States farms for their having replaced them with foreign workers from South Africa that were imported on H-2A visas.
As Breitbart News reported in November 2021, a number of black Americans along the Mississippi Delta filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against their former employers — Pitts Farms and Harris Russell Farms — for laying them off only to replace them with white foreign H-2A visa workers from South Africa.

But, but they were from Africa too, so... Trevor Noah would approve.

Considering that the white imports were paid about 50% more than the black workers it leads to interesting conclusions…either the whites are significantly more productive or the farm owners are fools. I’ll go with conclusion #1.

The media needs to differentiate african bLACKS from the rest of the dark-skinned residents in this country. The most intelligent and friendly dark-skinned persons I have worked with, interacted with, or had as neighbors were from other regions of the world.

Paying imported labor more than domestic? Non-sequitor unless there is some type of kick back to the employers. If employers are willing to pay higher wages it blows up the argument about needing the cheap labor coming across the open border
"African Americans" complaining about real Africans? I worked with a guy from Cameroon who detested entitled American blacks and my mom had very nice Cameroon neighbors who moved when American blacks bought the house behind them.

If things were on the up and up and not totally politicized, Black “communities” across the USA would be the most opposed of all to mass uncontrolled illegal immigration, and the bringing erstwhile illegal aliens into the US under the cover of so-called “temporary” work visas that in reality are not “temporary” at all, as those supposed “temporary” foreign workers as when their authorized stay in the USA ends, in most cases, they simply disappear into the vast and growing illegal alien population across the USA. Since Biden has stopped all effective immigration enforcement activities throughout the interior of the USA, the vast and growing illegal alien population in not being removed from the USA, and is essentially “home free” to await a future Democrat designed amnesty, and as a result the leftist Democrats believe, will embrace the socialist Democrat political agenda in very high percentages after they are granted US voting rights and will transition into becoming leftist Democrat supporters and voters thus keeping the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats in political power permanently. Biden and the leftist Democrats are getting away with that because they believe that they have the Black vote in the bag and that the wimpy Republicans don’t have a clue.
The big reason that Black “communities” across the USA should be opposed to the above, is that for every illegal alien or “temporary” foreign worker that Biden and the leftist Democrats are encouraging, and inviting, to enter the USA, both illegally and legally, is that those foreign origin people are taking and will be taking huge numbers of American jobs, and that common sense will tell you that if those foreign origin people were not in the USA, a good percentage of those open American jobs now and in the future, would go in the future to American workers, including Black Americans, who need jobs, and who should come first in the US labor market before foreign origin people. Recently Biden has been announcing that he intends to allow hundreds of thousands of more foreigners from the third world into the USA a year, and will allow them to accept employment in the USA under the guise that they are all eligible for asylum under US law that is false. In reality US employers will always try to employ foreign workers who they consider to be very pliable in the workplace by accepting lower working conditions, and who are willing to work for a lower wage than American workers, including Black American workers, who are always trying to maintain their customary U.S. standard of living, traditions that are generally unknown by working class individuals from the third world. That is especially true with employers who have in the past had unpleasant experiences in the past with American Black workers, who have displayed so called “attitudes” that US employers could do without by hiring foreign workers.

How can you sue people for doing what the Government wants them to do.
It seems to me it is the Government that needs suing.
Of course that would get nowhere. How about a suit for all of the illegals the Government is bringing in to take black jobs.?

Having already experienced this about 30 years ago in small town Georgia here's how it works.
A dairy farmer hires blacks. They hate the job and quit after a mere few days to the rare occasional max of about six months.
The farmer hires a Mexican. 5 years later that Mexican is still on the job. Dozens of blacks have taken the job and quit during that time. He hires another Mexican and that one stays on too. And another and another. Meanwhile he has hired dozens upon dozens of blacks who quit. Eventually all the positions are filled with Mexicans he hired more than five years ago.
He has only ever hired a total of a half dozen Mexicans but he has hired a hundred blacks. Thus he is not discriminating against blacks in his hiring. But they march and protest anyway. He offers them jobs even though he is already fully staffed. But again they only work a few days before quitting. Finally even the preachers that sided with the protesters realize it's not a racial discrimination problem.

If a farmer pays $12 per hour to a worker and profits from the labor, then both benefit. If the same farmer pays $7 per hour to a worker who is lazy and complains about racism, then only the worker benefits until terminated. It does not take a Phi Beta Kappa key to reason this out.

I found this in the comment section and I totally agree with it: Okay, someone's math is a little off here. "Data shows U.S. farms use the H-2A visa program to import cheaper foreign visa workers. The black Americans who filed the lawsuit claimed they were paid $7.25 to $8.25 an hour while their foreign H-2A visa counterparts were paid nearly $12 an hour." How were these workers being replaced with cheaper foreign workers when the foreign workers were being paid $12 an hour and the US workers were being paid up to $8.25. This rather invalidates the entire article.
