Biden administration boating proposal
would be 'greatest regulatory overreach'

"This would be the greatest regulatory overreach in American maritime law" — that’s how Frank Hugelmeyer describes a proposal by the Biden administration to limit the speed of all motorboats over 35 feet from Florida to Massachusetts. "Not only are they creating a serious safety issue, they are creating a massive negative economic impact." Hugelmeyer is president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), and he is just one of a growing number of voices expressing outrage over the proposal put forward by the U.S. Commerce Department under the auspices of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). "It’s stupid," said Jeff Angers, the president of the Center for Sportfishing Policy.

10 knots is barely moving in open waters. I'm sure they can devise some kind of sound to ward off the whales. Can't whales hear for miles?

No one is home. The man who's the putative POTUS is gonzo; daft; lunatic. He isn't just senile. He is insane. Those around him pulling all the levers are evil, are haters of the USA, haters of us. They are happy to see the rapid descent. No patriot is allowed to weigh in... no democracy there, not even a scintilla. This truly is a seditious cabal. Meanwhile the collaborators in McConnell and others take up the rear and wave off those who might offer resistance. This is how bad things are. And POTUS runs amok, promising billions and billions while robbing the people of the treasure of the Republic. He is insane. Listen to that demonic laugh; look at that sneering, twisted mouth condemning fellow citizens; watch the babbling prolixity uttering inanities.

Does this impact freighters? Many of them went to the east coast for unloading since the west coast is thoroughly screwed up. Slow those freighters down! Democratic political strategy: If it is bad for the US, do it! Republican political strategy: Follow Democratic lead.

Who in NOAA came up with this bonehead idea? Because 5 whales have been killed by boats in 15 years they want to impose that speed limit within 100 miles of shore line. The odds of you winning the lottery are greater that another whale being killed by a boat. Based upon NOAAs logic, why shouldn't all highways and surface street speed limits be set a 10 mph as well. There are more traffic deaths than whale deaths. This shite must stop.

At 10 miles an hour, a boat is literally plowing water. The boat sucks gasoline, is less maneuverable, and just wallows in the water. A properly trimmed boat, at the proper speed gets on plane and skims on top of the water. I can tell you, no one on the open water will abide by a speed limit.

If the Federal government lied about their censorship, what other election initiatives are they lying about? Let’s look at their program created to gain access to local election data. Around 2011 DHS created their own intrusion detection system called the ALBERT Sensor. It’s part of the larger Einstein System that protects federal agencies from cyber risks. ALBERT is a “black box” server installed on a County’s network. It collects the traffic flowing on their election network and transmits this data to a nonprofit in NY. DHS selected this non-profit to monitor all the election data from across the United Sates.

First of all, it will make it a lot easier to take a lot of vehicles off the road, and we have more money in the pot now already out there that we voted for than the entire money that we spend on Amtrak, to begin with,” he said.

My wife and I have become avid fans of American football. The Canadian game left us cold. Three-down football is a bore, the larger field resembles a soccer pitch, and the caliber of players is necessarily weaker than that of their American counterparts. Four-down football is far more interesting, eliminating the need for constant punt exchanges and allowing us to examine and enjoy the complexity of strategy, play adjustments, lots of audibles, and the evolution of play formation in general. We have our favorite players and teams. I appreciate the toughness and camaraderie of the Tennessee Titans before their seemingly inexplicable run of losses.
