Marcy Landolfo, who owns the Rains PDX store in Democrat-run Portland, Oregon, is fed up after experiencing break-in number 15. Landolfo told KATU she decided to shut it down because, “The products that are being targeted are the very expensive winter products and I just felt like the minute I get those in the store they’re going to get stolen,” the outlet reported Saturday. She is also concerned for her employees’ safety and acknowledged, “The problem is, as small businesses, we cannot sustain those types of losses and stay in business. I won’t even go into the numbers of how much has been out of pocket.”

Comments:

I Googled it and it's (was) a clothing store. Tip to other businesses in blue cities - get out now while you still can. Portland like Detroit, will be Everycity.

Pay attention, this is what the left wants in every city, town, and square inch of the world. They always produce the problem before they appear with the worse possible response to the problem. Their response always, always means less for you and me. Less of everything good and more of everything evil. They have no soul, but they put themselves forth as everything good; they are evil to their cores.

In the end, its the producing tax payers that quit their blue cities leaving an overwhelming number of voting moochers. So don't expect the voting patterns to change. If anything, these blue cities will become deep navy blue, and nothing will improve. As evidence.....Detroit. Baltimore, Chicago, Boston, New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Seattle.....etc etc.

I don't feel sorry for these people. They would rather have the headache of multiple break-ins and finally having to close their store than ever vote for a Republican anywhere in any position in your city or state. So, no tears for you from me. You made this insanity, now live with it.

Either no police or if there were any police, they looked the other way. Reminds me of where I grew up over 40 years ago. Local town lost its source of income. Almost all of the police were let go. The remaining police on patrol would see the perps casing a place, knew which store was going to be hit. They knew if they went to the other end of town on their patrol the store would be broken into. All they had to do was double back and catch the perps in the act. The police wouldn't even do that. It was also worth mentioning the perps would be back on the street before the police were done filing the paperwork. Most of the perps were teenagers. Many in the judiciary did not want to prosecute. They did not want to saddle the kids with a police record before they were an adult. The town had the third highest crime rate in the county even though it had a population of about 2000 people. Criminals know where law enforcement is soft. Memo to all shop owners: Invest int he most sturdy security gates for your storefront you can find. Also invest in heavy duty steel doors. Both front and rear. Might even consider doing all business through a slot in your front door.

In simple terms, “replacement theory” holds that welcoming immigration policies are part of a plan designed to undermine or “replace” the political power of conservatives in the U.S. Make no mistake: replacement theory is real — and the Democrat Party blatantly continues to embrace it at the southern border. Fox News host Tucker Carlson has in the past been all but burned at the stake by the rabid left for daring to discuss replacement theory on his program, including by Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which laughably describes itself as an “anti-hate” group, went after Carlson in early 2021: In the days following Tucker Carlson’s vitriolic, xenophobic commentary about demographic change

This spending, coming at a time when we’re already dealing with crushing inflation because of overspending, is madness. The bill just dropped and is more than 4000 pages long. A recent report from the New York Post claims that Twitter’s top ranks are filled with ex-FBI agents and executives. Many of these employees were swept away by Elon Musk’s massive layoffs, but some feds are likely still on the payroll. The New York Post reports that many of Twitter’s top executive roles were staffed with ex-FBI agents, connecting the company even closer to the federal agency which is being criticized for allegedly leaning on Twitter before the 2020 elections. Over a dozen former federal officials reportedly joined the company in the years before Elon Musk purchased the website in October.

Members of Antifa and additional left-wing extremists from across the nation have gathered at the site to halt construction of what they have deemed “Cop City,” the article said. "This would be the greatest regulatory overreach in American maritime law" — that’s how Frank Hugelmeyer describes a proposal by the Biden administration to limit the speed of all motorboats over 35 feet from Florida to Massachusetts. "Not only are they creating a serious safety issue, they are creating a massive negative economic impact." Hugelmeyer is president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), and he is just one of a growing number of voices expressing outrage over the proposal put forward by the U.S. Commerce Department under the auspices of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). "It’s stupid," said Jeff Angers, the president of the Center for Sportfishing Policy.

If the Federal government lied about their censorship, what other election initiatives are they lying about? Let’s look at their program created to gain access to local election data. Around 2011 DHS created their own intrusion detection system called the ALBERT Sensor. It’s part of the larger Einstein System that protects federal agencies from cyber risks. ALBERT is a “black box” server installed on a County’s network. It collects the traffic flowing on their election network and transmits this data to a nonprofit in NY. DHS selected this non-profit to monitor all the election data from across the United Sates.

The HHS’ “National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease” said black, Hispanic and low-income populations are more likely to face health-related risk factors that contribute to Alzheimer’s and said this disparity is due to “structural inequities” that are the result of racism.

Kevin McCarthy of California’s difficult campaign for speaker of the House. “House Republicans say that they want to craft a budget, but they haven’t yet been able to select a speaker,” Romney said, referencing the fact that several House Republicans came out in opposition to McCarthy’s bid for speaker. Romney noted it would be very difficult to sort out budgets for the current fiscal year and the following fiscal year.

But I will not concede that critics of the vaccine are spreading misinformation nor stoking unreasonable fears. Quite a few sober scientists and even the health officials of many OECD countries have expressed real and reasonable skepticism
