Representative James Comer (R., Ky.), the incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said Friday the FBI “needs to be dismantled” after the latest installment of the “Twitter files” revealed the bureau was in constant contact with Twitter before Elon Musk took over.
The FBI exchanged more than 150 emails with former Twitter Trust and Safety head Yoel Roth between January 2020 and November 2022, journalist Matt Taibbi reported on Friday. Roth’s team worked to censor the New York Post‘s October 2020 report on Hunter Biden’s laptop.
The FBI formed a task force of 80 agents to specialize in social media after the 2016 election

All of this is based on Hillary's Russiagate fraud within the federal government.
Probability: The agents were mostly left of center. A senior team supervisor was. (Pronouns in email signature "he/him/his" - Gina Carano's persecution at Disney's Lucasfilm was, at heart, over failure to use pronouns.)
"Dismantling" means deconstruction and reconstruction. The left got there first though. Musk is doing the same thing at Twitter but he's in California, San Francisco, the heart of hard left control.

In anticipation of those Deep Staters who would argue that we need the FIB to keep us safe and weed out lawbreakers, I suggest it has become the country's biggest law breaker, and people aren't safe from them. Garland can go with them. It's a RICO operation.

While Attorney General Merrick "Gestapo" Garland and FBI Director Christopher "Wicked" Wray share a bottle of cognac and further plot against the U.S. Constitution.

Agree shutdown completely. It’s a domestic spying operation, serving no public safety or security functions whatsoever. Comey, Wray, Garland and everyone else involved must do jail time. This is a crime and the evidence is public. Elon saved us months of investigation time to drag out this evidence. Now we have to show the connection back to Obama who started this whole thing.

Yes, indeed, Rep. Comer. And a serious housecleaning and re-purposing of the DOJ while you are at it.

Exactamundo. The FBI is totally corrupt, and has devolved into the Demokrat Secret Police. And to all the people who will say “but there are good, hard-working FBI agents all across the country!” I say: then where are they? Why haven’t they called out their superiors for their brazen traitorous treachery, and why haven’t they resigned in protest and gone public with the information about what’s been going on?
Defund the Department of Justice. Fire them all. Start over at DOJ with new leadership that has NEVER worked for the government before. Rethink whether the FBI is really needed. If we decide it is, then rewrite the rules about what they can do. Move them out of D.C. and put the headquarters in the middle of the country - somewhere like Kansas City or Louisville, KY.

Dismantle the FBI (and CIA while you're at it) and arrest, prosecute, and jail those within those agencies who actually committed treason. I'm waiting to see Brennan and Clapper in orange jump suits. It could and should happen. And Wray as well.

What about all of those 95% "honest, patriotic, hard-working FBI agents" we hear about. Or used to.
They don't exist.

Instead of BS hearings the incoming Republican House should defund both the FBI and DOJ. I wrote that to my Congressman

Elon Musk has admitted "Blue Checks" could be purchased from unscrupulous twitter employees. So the fbi agents probably sold their access to twitter censorship - a badly kept secret - a simply rational way of explaining why posts were censored that were clearly satire (and weak jokes, etc.) Somebody got miffed they were being made fun of so they called upon their friendly neighborhood and utterly corrupt fbi agent to make the censorship happen. Prove me wrong.

Sean Hannity is a fool with his mantra that 99.9% of all FBI agents are decent upstanding men and women. They ALL are partisan hacks who should be tossed out of their jobs and prosecuted for whatever charges will get them convicted. They get closer to becoming the American Secret Police with each passing day.

Their brand is sullied like white pants that have been carped in. You aint never getting the stain out. Best to shut them down, imprison the leadership and replace them with nothing. We're better off with criminals.

I'd like to add to the list: Repeal the Patriot Act. It has given unlimited license to the intelligence bureaus and greatly empowered them to trample on our rights. Are we any safer with that Act? Has it closed the borders from terrorists? Is it keeping politicians from sleeping with spies?

While Comer may call for the FBI to be dismantled, as long as there are enough Democrats and RINOS in the US Senate to filibuster any such bill passed by a Republican controlled US House of Representatives no such law will pass out of the Congress. In the event that such a law ever passes out of Congress you can bet your boots that as long as Biden or any other Democrat hold the position of President and any such bill arrives at the White House will be vetoed by Biden or any other Democrat President. Now that the DC super bureaucrats are allied with the leftist Democrats there will not be any such changes in the politicized super bureaucracy as Comer imagines.

We need to see a "Mr. Smith goes to Washington" type of stand.
I don't care one bit that it will not result in success.
We need to see our representatives taking a stand against tyranny.
Thank you James Comer, and may your bold stand cause your tribe to increase!

Musk needs to get out of San Fran. There is no way he can find enough employees to staff Twitter who aren't flaming liberals.

The weaponization of the Intelligence Branch of government began at 12:01pm, January 20, 2009. That was the absolute focus of Obama's first term with the trial run being the Arab Spring CIA uprising. We all know that Obama never truly left the White House. His administration embedded minions deep into the apparatus and gutted the midlevel military officer ranks in favor of acolytes, all while distracting the public with Obamacare... successfully.

What WE need is Rudy Giuliani in charge of the FBI...then...there would be real reform....he'd fix the corruption fast...the FBI needs to be broken down completely...and assembled with honest men and women who understand their role in the scheme of things......once the swamp sees WE mean business...they would comply....well you would think so...or perhaps hope so....
