Republicans can't win without Trump supporters

Original Article

It may not have been the dumbest thing on the Internet last week, but it was the dumbest thing I read. Nick Fuentes visited Mar-a-Lago as a guest of Kanye West. The media describes Fuentes as a Holocaust Denier and White Supremacist. The two ate with Donald Trump, who was unaware of who this Fuentes dude is. I am clueless about Fuentes as well. But the media manufactured another scandal out of the incident. Conservative poseurs obediently are clutching their pearls over this like the little country club Republicans they are. No president did more for Israel than Trump. No president had a daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren who were Jewish.

As long as the power/money gravy train keeps running, the republicrats don't care if they win, in fact, they wouldn't want to be in the driver seat. The republic has failed. We are done.

We need to ditch the Republican brand and establish the America First Party right now! Grab the disgruntled democrats and sone independents. As long as we’re tied to Republicans we’re tied to the Uniparty.

After being a Republican for all of my 65 years on this earth, I officially became an independent conservative in January of 2021 after watching the sewer dwelling Republi-Can'ts stab President Trump in the back over and over again. No, I will never vote for a Demon-Rat, as they are all pure evil (or even worse). But I will never vote for another candidate just because they have an "R" after their name. My money and my votes will go to solid conservative Republicans. But never to another useless RINO, since they are just as evil (if not more-so, because they aren't even honest) as the Demon-Rats. So if these vile Republi-Can'ts want to join the "never Trump" train, they will certainly do so without my vote. And I'm guessing that a majority of the 75,000,000+ of us that voted for Donald Trump in 2020 are probably feeling the same about now!!!! I am pretty sure we are way overdue for the Conservative American Patriots Party!!!!!

I still belong to the Republican party, but I aint happy. The 10 or 12 who vote with the democrats are all worthless traitors to what Republicans stand for. We definitely need a new party as it seems we cannot get rid of the sorry leadership of the old one. What the heck were they thinking when they send Mitch McConnell back into leadership. As for Trump? Just plain sick of watching the democrats ,who fear him, continue to display their ignorance.

FTA: "How can we move on from President Trump when Republicans have not let him accomplish what he was elected to do?" Let's start by saying 2016 and 2024 are not the same in any fashion. Trump supporters can't win without Republicans, either. And while the MAGA cult carries on it forgets that there are "moderate Repubicans" who are neither pro- nor anti-Trump in '24. But they are cognizant of the Trump package and its contents this time. Harping on '20 and carrying on like FPDT is the ONLY choice doesn't further the MAGA cause. It's very much true that the UNIPARTY controls national-level politics, and that Mitch and Kevin are fully UNIPARTY. They are elected by their respective caucuses, making them presumably UNIPARTY, too. The "enemy" is fairly clear...just about everyone in Washington legislative and government circles. And that cabal is well funded, besides holding the controls. Selling four more years of Trump as President is more than shouting MAGA at people. For all the good done, there were issues from Day One that included his cabinet choices, from Sessions, T-Rex and Mad Dog. His COVIDS response was wholly based on "experts" who were bureaucrats first and foremost, compounded by giving Fauci, Birx and others the legitimacy of the Presidential bully pulpit until the Biden Adminsitration arrived. Let's also not forget that PDT wholeheartedly endorsed Mitch for re-election in '18. None of this is to cheer about. The game will get uglier as primary season approaches. The UNIPARTY will not see its '20 investment in dumping Trump wasted in '24. Surber talks around that. So, what's Plan B...just in case? President Harris, Newsome or Michelle O?

I will flatly say that if the Trumpster isn't on the ticket in 2024 then a demorat will become president--they won't even have to cheat. And yes, they only win when they CHEAT. And to #6 the long time loyal supporters of the Republican party WILL NOT vote for another uni-party hack that is submitted to the people. We are done eating those crap sandwiches. I can stand losing in a fair election but getting cheated in public view just chaps my arse. Rino's don't want to win--they pulled money in late October from close races to save money because they understood the FIX was in. NEVER AGAIN.

My answer to the question, should we move on from Trump? Mr. Surber said it best. FTA: “ How can we move on from President Trump when Republicans have not let him accomplish what he was elected to do?” The reprehensible Rinos have made more trouble for President Trump than he ever did with his rhetoric or mean tweets. They pulled the rug out from under him on day one. They would not even give him a chance when they saw he was actually succeeding, and that says everything about how despicable they truly are. They sacrificed the good of the country for their own personal egos.

And Trump and his supporters Can’t win with Republicans. So what do we do? I said two years ago…..New Party Now! I know all the reasons why it won’t work in National elections, but if we would have started it and focused first on local elections, we’d be two yards clear tow where we need to go anyway. Which is away from the Republican Party. Far away.

I just remember what happened to Jeb Bush when he smugly told the public he didn't need conservatives to win the nomination. Soon after that, he went down in flames politically.

I see several posters on here have changed their party registrations. I tend to agree with them. Here in Texas though, I have a choice. With the open primary, I can either vote Republican to have a say in local elections, or Democrat to have a voice in national elections. I may very likely choose to vote in the Democrat primary (depending on how local elections look) for the first time ever since I first voted 1978.

Keep voting for and supporting conservatives and leave the eGOP RINO trash out on the curb. Do not support them with your votes, time or money and tell your friends the same. Spread the word. Re: #2 - How many times can one threaten to do something, not follow through, and threaten yet again without losing credibility? A party of independents (Bernie Sanders?) and disgruntled democrats (angry leftists) sounds far worse than the GOP. There are America First-minded people in the Republican Party infrastructure throughout this country. It's the politicians who are the problem. Shifting under a new banner will not solve the problem of electing idiots and snakes but it would ensure democrat control over law making, the courts, the White House, and a majority of the state houses. I guess the allure of trendy anti-Republican, democrat-like, talking points is too appealing to disregard like Trump apparently has. What does he know that the anti-Republican segment of his base thinks they know better?

I'm in my mid-seventies with failing health. I can no longer say we'll get them in the next election and win. In all my life I've thrown my vote away on establishment losers like John McCain, George Bush and Mitt Romney. President Trump is the first leader I've seen in my entire life who has displayed what I wanted for our country. I won't abandon him even with all his warts with some missteps in his choices but for the most part he did it all alone. Trump and his supporters don't need the Republicans In Name Only it's the other way around. If the election cheating isn't addressed by the dirty republicans in the next two years, then DeSantis or Trump can't win so I won't vote at all. Standing in line to cast my one vote gets canceled by ten, one hundred or more paper ballot fake votes is not an election it has become a 'selection'. Suber is very correct in his assessment and I agree.

If DeSantis is his own guy and not fronting Karl Roves Bushies apparatus, the smart play is to not only support Trump, but do so enthusiastically now. Unite or bring in any non Bushie never trumper suburbanites. And take a Cabinet position to get some national gravitas before 2028. It’s not as if Trump is going to hold the leash on a MAGA general who believes in the movement.

And Trump can't win without full Republican support. If he's to succeed, and I hope he does, he has to mend some fences. As someone else mentioned, 2024 is not 2016. He's got a fantastic record. He can stand on that and do less brash trash talk. You may recall that he burned bridges with Cruz when he accused Cruz's father of ties to Castro. He burned bridges with Rand Paul by belittling him. Both demonstrated great maturity to work with Trump eventually, but they could have chosen not to. He really needs to save his ammo for the true enemy - the Dems!

The Dems/Marxists have to be loving the "my guy or nobody" crap that's being spewed by too many on here. We lost Senate elections in NH, PA, AZ, and NV that we should have won (we will see about GA soon). The Rep candidates were all hand picked and supported by Trump. The Reps lost because Independents went to the Dem candidates in a big way (12-20% more for the Dem). In PA Fetterman, probably the worst candidate to run for anything in 2022, received 58% of Independents - Oz only got 38%. So I'm not big on Trump candidates. I want to see solid conservatives to run who will put the conservative cause first.....not a personality. If we want to continue to lose elections we should win, all we have to do is what we did in 2022. How stupid !!!!!

What is funny is that while the democrats led with the story they quickly gave it up, the last week has shown it is republicans who are calling on Trump to apologize. In order to present an accurate record of events, it is important to remain focused on specifics. The acquisition by investment managers BlackRock and Vanguard of ever-increasing shares in America’s public utility companies is setting off alarm bells from conservatives and progressives alike. In April, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved a request from BlackRock to increase its ownership up to 20 percent of a public utility’s voting shares without being deemed an “affiliate” and incurring the regulatory scrutiny and disclosures that come with that. To gain FERC approval, BlackRock and Vanguard promised they would be “passive” investors and not use their share ownership to influence management.

One thing I dislike immensely about republican punditry, specifically as it relates to internal dynamics, is their tribal narrative engineering. The example from Breitbart about President Trump’s discussion of the next speaker of the House is a case study. Take out Matthey Boyle’s woven narrative; and remind yourself that Boyle is writing from a position of DeSantis advocacy; read just the direct quotes from President Trump about the risk of House Speaker if the party doesn’t align to support Kevin McCarthy, and the position is pragmatic. Essentially, if not Kevin McCarthy, and the House vote is dependent on Democrat support, the result will likely be worse.

If you are a conservative voter in America today at some point you have to realize you have no representation in the US Senate. Mitch McConnell has a 33 percent approval rating, the lowest in the US Senate and yet he was reelected as GOP Leader with 37 votes to 10 votes for Senator Scott. The Senate Republicans REALLY, really hate their base. The bill gives another $44.9 billion to Ukraine — where it disappears into the ether. The bill also makes it impossible for Americans to challenge a stolen election.

In a press conference on Tuesday afternoon in the U.S. Capitol, Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky was talking about priorities for the United States as lawmakers rush to pass a $1.7 trillion omnibus bill.  According to Leader McConnell — who said he was speaking for "most Republicans" — the "number one priority" for the United States is not any of the pressing domestic issues plaguing Americans as a result of President Joe Biden and his administration. No, McConnell said that "providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now, according to most Republicans." Really?

Trust me, I don’t like to be the one to bring you this news. I am a wine enthusiast, and as a former server, I pride myself on knowing my way around a liquor cabinet or bar. And once in a while, I like to unwind with a nice drink. Personally, I enjoy a smoky, peaty, single malt scotch as my beverage of choice. Maybe with a rock or two, or neat. Either way, it can make for a satisfying nightcap. Of course, everyone has their favorite drink, and if you prefer something else, it is not my place to judge. And this is the 21st Century and no one

A Kentucky state senator's transgender son died on Friday after taking his own life at the age of 24.  Henry Berg-Brousseau, whose mother is a Democratic state senator, 'long struggled with mental illness,' his mother said - not because he was trans but because 'a lack of acceptance took a toll.' The Louisville lawmaker said her son had just received a significant promotion working for the Human Rights Campaign, which advocates for LGBTQ rights.  He had finally found a community, she said, 'but that could not undo the brokenness that he already felt.'

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Monday issued a terse response to the House Jan. 6 select committee’s decision to refer criminal charges against former President Trump to the Justice Department. “The entire nation knows who is responsible for that day. Beyond that, I don’t have any immediate observations,” McConnell said in a statement reacting to the House panel voting to refer four criminal charges against Trump to prosecutors in connection to his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Why Do Liberals Hate Trump So Much? 29 replies

The question in the title needs, I believe, critical examination. Why DOES the Left hate Trump so much? The answer, as usual, can largely be found by analyzing history. But first. Do they hate him because the average price of a gallon of gas in his administration was far lower than under Biden? Is it because inflation was low (around 2%) and trending downward? Is it that the USA was energy independent and didn’t need to beg our enemies for oil, deplete our strategic oil reserve or sell it to China? Is it because black and Hispanic unemployment was lower than at any time in history?

Add yet another government overreach to the “Things You Didn’t Think Could Happen in America” file: Democrats on the lame-duck House and Ways and Means Committee voted Tuesday to release six years of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns. Why? Because they um, uh—because they want to? But wait, you say to yourself, that’s not possible; your tax returns are private by federal law, and therefore protected from release. The Dems of course found a sleazy way around that. The tax code allows the committee to look at people’s tax returns to provide “oversight” of the Internal Revenue Service, and by writing an official report on their findings,

PORTLAND, Ore. — Policymakers for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality on Monday approved a rule that prohibits the sale of new gasoline-powered passenger vehicles in Oregon by 2035. The effort comes as Oregon plans to cut climate-warming emissions by 50% by 2035 and by 90% by 2050, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported. The transportation sector accounts for nearly 40% of greenhouse gas emissions in Oregon. (Snip) The new rule also requires manufacturers to increase access to affordable zero-emission vehicles to low-income households and communities of color. It offers incentives to manufacturers to sell electric cars to community car share programs, to

Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz denounced the Jan. 6 committee as a “kangaroo court” that produced a worthless report that should be “thrown in the wastebasket.” In an interview Monday evening on Newsmax TV, the eminent lawyer said that “not only is [the Justice Department] not obligated to do anything, it is obligated not to do anything” in response to the panel’s recommendations Monday that former President Donald Trump be prosecuted. According to Mr. Dershowitz, the panel operated against the spirit of one of only two civil-liberties provisions in the original Constitution,

Stanford University has published an index of 'harmful language' that it wants to eliminate because the terms are 'ableist, ageist or racist' — including the word American — as it calls for US citizen to be used instead. The University revealed the plan in May, and wants to remove the words from its IT systems and websites, with grandfather, brave and master are also on the list. The Elimination of Harmful Language Initiative will also aim to educate people about the impact that 'racist, violent and biased' words have. It has listed 10 sections where 'harmful' language can occur under the headings:

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said Monday he supports bringing Republican House business to a halt until as late as March next year if it means electing someone besides House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to be speaker. Gaetz, one of five outspoken opponents of McCarthy, told Charlie Kirk in an interview he would rather wait weeks and have “sort of a turbulent takeoff” than have McCarthy be speaker. “I’m saying we could see the cherry blossoms bloom and not have a speaker. I hope it doesn’t come to that,” Gaetz said, in reference to the popular flower in D.C. that blooms annually around the end of March.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Tuesday joined 13 Republicans who vowed to tank any priorities of GOP senators who vote for the 4,155 page omnibus bill that was negotiated with Democrats before a new Republican majority could take control of the House. Reps. Chip Roy (R-TX), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Scott Perry (R-PA), and Andy Biggs (R-AZ), along with nine other conservatives House members, signed a letter Tuesday promising to block any priorities of the Republican senators who rushed to support the omnibus deal with Democrats just days before Congress leaves town for Christmas.
