President Newsom? God Help The United
States Of America

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 11/25/2022 7:23:48 PM

Not a week had gone by after the midterm elections before California governor Gavin Newsom’s presidential possibilities were being talked up. A Republican consultant even suggested Joe Biden ask for Kamala Harris’ resignation and appoint Newsom as his vice-president. Biden could then either resign himself, leaving Newsom president, or position him to run as semi-incumbent in 2024. No matter what turns the journey takes, there will be a train wreck at the station. Don’t be fooled by the governor’s margin of victory this year (59-41) and in 2018 (62-38). He has done nothing in his public life that recommends him for the presidency. Popular, yes, competent, no.

Newsom has never had to face a Republican, other than tokens who knew they would lose. He will perhaps not be as an inept presidential candidate as Kamala Harris but like her he has never dealt with a serious opponent. I don’t think he will play well east of the Bay Area and Hollywood Hills.

They float unlikely possibilities like this every once in a while just to keep good Americans stirred up. A few years ago it was a similar plot to get Pelosi into the white house. The real purpose is to distract us from something else. Pick your scandal. Another stolen election with Republican co-operation? Biden's corruption? Tanking economy? Communists oozing from every pore of the zit that is DC?

Just met a new sport team member that moved out of Carlsbad, California, his home for the last 30 years. He said it was great for 25 years but the last 5 years the trash on the streets, the homeless tents everywhere, the multiple break ins (with an alarm system), traffic jams constantly because of unlicensed, uninsured accidents or stalled vehicles and a sewage smell in his suburb community started a few years ago but the county says it is normal. This is the Newsom Democrat legacy.

While many Americans have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season, even if Slow Joe Biden is still in charge and the costs of Thanksgiving have risen dramatically under him, there’s one group that’s probably in pretty dismal spirits. That would be the group of prisoners locked up in DC over the January 6th incident, a group that has allegedly been treated horribly in jail. While many have since forgotten about them, some haven’t and are still willing to draw attention to their plight, with the Columbia Bugle and Tucker Carlson doing so by highlighting the sad case of Chris Worrell. Did you know that freedom of speech is “nonsense?” That’s the word from CNN, which let a former CIA flunky spew falsehoods in an attempt to smear Elon Musk’s management of Twitter. As RedState previously reported, Musk is set to grant a “general amnesty” to formerly banned accounts. There will be some exceptions if those accounts broke the law or engaged in targeted calls for violence, but a deluge of accounts that simply broke leftwing orthodoxy are set to return. That has the clowns over at CNN shaking in terror, so much so that they are willing to boot basic constitutional principles in the process. (Tweet/Video)

Americans set a new record Thanksgiving day record, spending $5.29 billion in online shopping on Thursday. Thursday's amount represented a 2.9% increase from last year. Shoppers typically spend about $2 billion to $3 billion online in one day, according to data shared by Adobe. Mobile shopping -- purchases made through smartphones -- accounted for 55% of online sales, an all-time record for Thanksgiving Day since 2012. Vivek Pandya, a lead analyst at Adobe, told CNBC that the increase was driven by demand, as consumers shrugged off record-high levels of inflation. Online sales haven't been driven higher by inflation like store sales, since e-commerce is largely made up of electronics, apparel and other durables
