Jan. 6 panel staff angry at Cheney for

Since Rep. Liz Cheney accepted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s offer to serve as the vice chair of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, the Wyoming Republican has exerted a remarkable level of control over much of the committee’s public and private work. (Snip) The feuding brings to the fore a level of public acrimony within the Jan. 6 committee that previously had largely played out behind the scenes, as public attention was focused on a series of blockbuster public hearings focused on Trump’s role fomenting the attack. Several committee staff members were floored

Comments:

LOL - Now that she has helped Dems with their dirty work, they are ready to throw her overboard. It's funny how the 'behind the scenes acrimony' was never mentioned until now.

Cheney's monomaniacal obsession with Trump is revealing: the ruling political class hates and fears him because he represents us. We, The People, so prominently mentioned in our Constitution, are anathema to the Cheney's/Schumers/Pelosi's/Obama's because they deeply believe that we are incapable of deciding for ourselves what is best for us, and that they, and only they, should be the ones to decide the destiny of a SOCIETY. And Trump reminds them that their hold on power is tenuous at best, and that they must stamp out all attempts at thinking for ourselves.

This makes me smile: “We all came from prestigious jobs, dropping what we were doing because we were told this would be an important fact-finding investigation that would inform the public,” said one former committee staffer. “But when [the committee] became a Cheney 2024 campaign, many of us became discouraged.”

Maybe they could code. The Politicians are too busy across the street in the phone banks hustling $$$ from their constituents. That's why we need President Trump again. Prominent Twitter users erupted into a series of arguments after an MSNBC health columnist floated the idea of canceling Thanksgiving and moving winter holidays to prevent illness. On Wednesday, Dr. Esther Choo, a professor of emergency medicine at Oregon Health and Science University, gave her thoughts on how to prevent respiratory illnesses, such as COVID-19 and RSV, during the holiday season. She tweeted that "for so many reasons" Thanksgiving should be canceled, winter holidays should be moved to the summer, and winter holidays should be more "hygge," or cozy. Additionally, Choo touted several benefits of such a move, including a
