In a move that surely had his tapioca dealers talking themselves back from the ledge, the President stated that they would be shutting down coal-fired power plants ‘across America’.
West Virginia may be the first state that comes to mind when one thinks of coal country, but Pennsylvania is a close second and is home to one of the key senate races of this election.
Democrat senate hopeful, Fetterman, was likely stunned by Biden’s recklessness … and her husband probably was too.
He finally told the truth!
Very typical for dementia patients, they often have these moments of clarity and seem completely sane.

Good grief. This is what we have for a President and administration. Total incompetence. My 8th grade grandson could do a far better job than this senile demented fossil and his cable of leftist goons.

These traitors should be imprisoned indefinitely and their party banned. This Republic cannot long survive treating these people as anything but enemies of the State.

Why the big surprise, the moron said the same thing during debate with trump? If you didn’t catch that you must have dozed off. He also said he’d get rid of fossil fuel and limit access to guns, all during debate!!!!

The coal fired generation plants statement is enough. Coupled with his statements on shutting down the oil and gas industry he is promising to remove all energy, since what little"renewable" energy there is is in fact enabled by oil and gas.
If there were an energy source other than oil, gas, and coal, the public would use it and the use of oil, gas and coal would die a natural death. No one had to threaten to shut down buggy whip manufacturers or o kill all horses to encourage the adoption of the automobile.
But he is saying he wants to shut down oil, gas, and coal before there is a replacement for them. That is anti civilizational.

Biden and the Democrats want to destroy the USA if they don't get their way.... to control everything.
Who else do we know in history like that? ....could it be HITLER? ....took down Germany to the last man all because he couldn't see his dream die.

Please, go ahead and shut down the coal plants right on the cusp of winter and then you can watch people slowly freeze to death. The man is a damned fool!

"FRANKFURT, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Germany's cabinet on Wednesday passed two decrees to prolong the operation of sizeable hard coal-fired power generation plants up to March 31, 2024, and to bring back idled brown coal capacity up to June 30, 2023, to boost supply.
The economy ministry in a press release spoke of the two related reserve schemes, called network reserve and supply reserve, as important for preparing for the coming winter."

"[There are] 229 operational coal-fired power stations in the United States.
Coal generated 23% of United States electricity in 2021, an amount of electricity similar to that from renewable energy or nuclear power, but about half of the amount generated by natural gas plants. Coal was 19% of generating capacity. Between 2010 and May 2019, 290 coal power plants, or 40% of the US's coal generating capacity, closed."

If they were actually able to shut down all those coal fired power plants, how would people charge up their much touted EVs? Wind and solar are still in tiny fraction of power across the country, shutting down coal would be INSTANT blackouts across the nation.

Where in the Constitution does it say the President has the right to shut down coal plants, or for that matter do anything except execute lawful statutes passed by congress?

To save the planet, the White House should lead the way and cancel their power and gas companies and use wind and solar to heat and cool the place. In addition, the gas powered fleet of limos should sold and replaced with electric vehicles that will be charged by solar means. When they do that successfully for at least two years, then we should consider Biden's hair-brained idea.

Remember the guy who use to be the worst president this country has ever had, jimmy carter! Well. Ole jimmy promised during his campaign that he would shut down the steel mills. America would buy steel from Japan.
Oh and people who worked in the steel mills ran out and voted for ole jimmy ! Did that make sense? Mill workers lost their jobs.
Look what obama did. He also said he would shut down coal mines. He was “elected” (I still say that second term of his was because the election was stolen,). Coal miners lost their jobs. Was the only time during both Jimmy’s and Obama’s presidency’s that the two of them didn’t lie.

Southwestern Pa has interesting coal fired power plants, called mine mouth plants.
The power plant is buit above a coal mine, the coal is mined, brought to the surface, washed, and burned. The mine mouth plants were rebuilt in the 1990s to meet high standards on environmental stuff. (We had a tenant who was in charge of the rebuilds, and he went from plant to plant to do that.) The plants are efficient, and the smoke rising from them is pure white - water vapor.
The Biden Crime Gamily must be well paid by the Chinese governnent to shut stuff down.
