The federal government’s guidelines to counter “misinformation” and “disinformation” – what we might more accurately describe as Big Brother’s Playbook – has been released. The US government and its allies, including media gatekeepers and educational institutions and global corporations, have become the judges and juries of “misinformation.” And Big Tech is their executioner. According to recently-filed court documents in Missouri v. Biden that were made available by The Intercept(snip) “The Department of Homeland Security is quietly broadening its efforts to curb speech it considers dangerous.” We’ve highlighted the key points of these court documents with screenshots below. Not so much about those producing the “MDM” but focusing on keeping those who read it, see it, hear it from doing so. That’s us.

DHS and FBI are working very hard to block the First Amendment freedom of speech. This is illegal, unconstitutional, and should be punished severely.

It's time for DHS to be dismantled. Many of us feared after 9/11, as this department was being constructed, that it's powers would become more encompassing, more oppressive, since self-restraint is not the usual tendency of big government totalitarian leftists. And future governments proved not worthy of caretaking and protecting our liberties. Almost from the beginning, we saw the encroachments of the DHS, as soon as grannies and babies were being molested in airports by agents. It was evident that the sure tendency of people in power is to grab more. and more. And if we didn't think the FBI could be corrupted, we've been disabused of that notion. The CIA is anti-Constitution and Bill of Rights, so is the Justice Department. Did we still believe that a Grand Jury and trials in DC could be FAIR and just to defendants of the Republican persuasion? With majority leftist Dems in every branch, every Department and both Houses of Congress, we're teetering. Knowing history, ancient to modern, our liberties are hard won, and easy to lose. Ben Franklin warned us, loud and clear. Pray, everyone.

Talk about dis- and misinformation... Biden has a world class soap box and microphone. Yet not an opportunity is missed by Biteme to LIE....whether its about his wife killed myna drunk driver, his participation in U of Delaware's football program, his graduating in the top of his class from Syracuse law school, that he was a Civil Rights protester, that he went to South Africa to support Nelson Mandela, the graft and payoffs he got through his son Hunter from Ukraine, China, and Iran, etc. But those lies he has made regarding the Afghanistan withdrawal. the (no-) domestic energy policy, inflation, Covid, baby formula, immigration make everything else pale by comparison. Deleted. We don’t shout here.

Censorship is always a function of which side of the censored message you're on. Truth is whatever one sees, not necessarily what happened. Back in the day censorship included grandpa's letters home from the front...but that was good for "national security". LBJ's Dept of Defense manufactured stats and lies to "prove" there was light at the end of the Vietnam War tunnel...that was good until it wasn't anymore. Censorship is less a problem than the lack of courage to speak out honestly. The tribes demand agreement with their views...and won't stand for another view expressed. That's dismissed with namecalling, canceling, and worse.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Nov. 1 blocked Congress from obtaining former President Donald Trump’s tax returns. Chief Justice John Roberts, a George W. Bush appointee, stayed an appeals court order that had ruled a congressional panel could gain access to the documents. Trump filed an emergency application on Monday to the Supreme Court, asking it to halt the order. Roberts’ stay is temporary, pending further developments in the case. Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.), chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means, has for years been trying to obtain Trump’s returns, asserting that they are necessary as the panel considers possibly updating how audits of presidents are done.

A dozen years ago, Democrats faced a dilemma. A long-term care entitlement known as the CLASS Act that they added to what became Obamacare faced serious solvency concerns. But after Scott Brown, R-Mass., won a shock Senate victory for Republicans in a January 2010 special election, ending Democrats’ filibuster-proof majority, Democrats didn’t have the votes to alter the CLASS Act or remove it from Obamacare. What did Democrats do? The Obama administration suppressed the internal documents showing that the CLASS Act wouldn’t work. (I and Republican staff colleagues later obtained these documents, compiling them into a report.) Democrats also convinced many in the disability industry to support Obamacare,

In Pennsylvania, the Department of State has allowed at least 249,000 unverified voters to receive mail-in ballots for the 2022 general election, owing to an odd process for verifying the identity of those requesting mail-in ballots, where people vote first and verify their identification later. The Department of State also recently changed directives for county election boards, creating procedural confusion and drawing fire from 15 Pennsylvania House members in the form of a letter (pdf) demanding that the department immediately correct its guidance and tell counties they may not count the ballots of unverified voters until proof of ID is received.
