The House passed a bill for $40 billion in weapons and other aid to Ukraine and the war effort on Tuesday. That was $7 billion on top of what Joe Biden had asked for and on top of the $13.6 billion that was passed last month. Joe Biden said they needed more because they had already spent everything.
While 57 Republicans voted against the new bill for $40 billion, most voted for it. It still has to go through the Senate.
Congress had already passed a bill that gave Joe Biden the right to provide virtually anything out of our own stockpiles to Ukraine.

FTA: “ But where is the spreadsheet of what money is being allocated, not just from us, but from all the other countries, and the accountability for where it is going? How do we know some of it isn’t going out the back door?”
When Big DooDoo was Vice President he promised a spreadsheet for the $870 BB stimulus package to show “every penny” for all those “[not actually] shovel ready” jobs. I don’t think he was ever able to get the website up and running.
And we do know that money is going out the back door. That’s the purpose of this exercise- it’s illegal for it to go out the front door so they have to get a legal front door and then make a back door with window dressing.
Was the theft always this blatant?

I wonder if we could have finished the border wall along our southern border with that money. Heck, I wonder if we could have doubled it and made 2 walls.

And yet, 70% of our heroic, soon to go bluster on Hannity, voted for it. A POX upon them all.

Insanity. All yes voters should be voted out for absolute insanity. Who in their right mind can justify that level of spending on a foreign country when we have so many problems here at home. Is that even constitutional.

How is it that we end up with the excrement-y end of the stick when it comes to "choosing" allies in the fight against communism? Vietnam all over again.

The yes voters should be voted out but how many times do we say that about stupid Republicans? New audio of that snake Miss Lindsey and will SC vote HIM out. Most Republicans, evidently, voted for this monstrosity of a bill. They are not a bit afraid of their voters at this point.

But they didn't have $5 billion to complete the border wall. Too expensive, they said.

Give 'em 25 billion.
And then use the rest to complete the border wall and staff it.
That's what ole Jack Burton says.

Both Pelosi and Jill Biden failed to lock in their kickback from a stubborn Zelenskyy with $33 Billion aid . So they rushed through the $40 Billion, greasing palms along the way, to guarantee the democrats cut.

I don't care if Pelosi is for it. I am for it anyway. Putin has attacked neighbor after neighbor and there is every sign he will go on with it until stopped. If we don't help the Ukrainians they will be on the other side when we try to go help Moldova or Poland or the Baltics or Germany or Alaska. He looks to me to be encircling Turkey. He wants to rule the West. OK he will not win but in the meantime he is deranged and is going to murder rape pillage torture and child-kidnap until stopped. Stopping him now is the cheap option as well as the pro-life and Godly one. Standing back is going to be regrettable later. Please review Chechnya, Syria, Abkhazia, North Ossetia, Crimea, Lukhanst and Donetsk. Different excuse every time. And I am very very very curious about what new infrastructure went unremarked in preparation for the Sochi Olympics.

#18, I'm all for helping Ukraine but not to the tune of $40 billion. What is our goal, really? Can boatloads of dollars really stop the Russian aggression? And how much of that money will go into the pockets of politicians and their friends? We and other countries should be looking for ways to facilitate a negotiated peace agreement.

As Tucker said, China Joe is now sending multi $$ billions to Ukraine that should have gone to repairing the damage HE’S done to America since Day One...while angrily denouncing the awful conditions that HE caused.
Ironically (or not), local Obiden voters are now sporting yellow and blue Ukrainian flags in their yards! MAGA
