White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates hammered former President Donald Trump for heaping praise for days on Russian President Vladimir Putin. 'Two nauseating, fearful pigs who hate what America stands for and whose every action is driven by their their own weakness and insecurity, rubbing their snouts together and celebrating as innocent people lose their lives,' Bates tweeted from his official government account Thursday morning. Bates shared an article about Trump telling a crowd at Mar-a-Lago Wednesday night—as Putin began his assault on Ukraine—that the Russian leader was 'pretty smart.'(Snip)Later Tuesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki hit back at Trump.

Comments:

Profiles in American leadership. On a different timeline, members of the Bidet junta would swing.

While another communist in the White House gets ugly with his Putin and Trump comments, Trump has been quoted twice this week saying that Putin is a "pretty smart" and a "genius." Given the gravity of Russia invading an independent European country, such comments do not help the focus on making America great again.

Trump wasn't praising Putin. He was stating the obvious. Putin is a smart man. He may be a tyrant. He may be evil. But he isn't stupid. He isn't incontinent. He knows where he's at at any given time. And he doesn't spout gibberish. Biden couldn't coordinate a military draw down and withdraw. Putin is about to take an entire country, and all the left can do is slander Trump.

Seems to me one tiny detail is being left out. If PRESIDENT Trump and Putin were such pals why didn’t Putin invade while PRESIDENT Trump was in office. Then PRESIDENT Trump could have helped Putin. Another minor detail. If Biden does not support Putin invading Ukraine, why didn’t he stop Putin. Putin is not afraid of ole lunch bucket Joe. That’s why Putin waited till now. But woukd have invaded Ukraine if hitlary had been elected. Putin just had to wait till PRESIDENT Trump was put and Joe in. Oh but Putin had to bounce now, in case Republicans win mid terms. Wonder if Ukraine is going to ask hunter for their money back.

Putin is extremely evil, but he is also a very strong leader who loves his country and does what he sees is best for Russia. Period. Contrast that to Senile Joe bidet -- also evil, who hates his own country, and is totally incompetent and impotent. FJB!!!

One human trait that is always evident on the left, and is seen all too frequently on the right as well, is the desire to see those who oppose you as somewhat lessmentally astute as you are. Obviously of they were anywhere near as smart they would accept the undeniabe genius of your position, right? That is not even remotely true. I have always taken issue with people who assert that what our opponents do is due to stupidity. It never is, no man (until arguably Biden) has ever held the position of POTUS who was not a good bit smarter than the average bear. We hated Clinton, Obama and Carter but don't kid yourself, they were very intelligent men just lacking in many other traits. To assume your opponent is acting stupidly is to give him a great advantage. You cannot win on the international stage with the assumptionthat your opponent is somehow mentally lacking because he is not. Far safer to assume he is much smarter than you and then act accordingly. Putin was smart, he could have taken Ukraine at any time, even when Trump was in office. He waited and assessed his position and then moved when his political cost would be cheapest. He knew Trump would make the annexation of Ukraine very painful. Biden will give it away for almost nothing.

Just for the record, these are the quotes I found. “I went in yesterday, and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius,’” Trump told radio host Buck Sexton in an interview on Tuesday. “Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine – of Ukraine – Putin declares it as independent.” He added sardonically, “Oh, that’s wonderful.” “The former US commander-in-chief said such a turn of events never would have happened if he were still in office, accusing his predecessor of incompetence while referring to Russia’s Donbass move, including Moscow’s potential peacekeeping mission, as “smart.” “That’s the strongest peace force – we could use that on our southern border,”Trump quipped. “That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re going to keep peace all right.” End of quotes. I suspect the transcript misses the sarcasm. Apparently if you don’t pepper all your language with what a “bully” putin is you’re a pig.

One of the posters here needs to do some independent research. Putin isn't attacking a whole country. Selective strikes are being done on Bio-Labs. Ukraine is a deep state hotbed for nefarious money-laundering of all sorts of ne'er-do-wells, including the Deep-State, Clintons, Bidens, and likely a host of others. Putin doesn't want or need Ukraine and he certainly doesn't need a 'gain-of-function' bio-weapon produced in his backyard, so to speak.

How low we have fallen. It is absolutely appalling that a representative of a United States President should say such things. What a low class fool! President Trump was not praising Putin's character or motives, only his strategy and tactics which, so far, have been very successful. Hitler had some very successful strategy and tactics in the beginning of WWII and we learned from them. Stupid Psaki said, "As a matter of policy, we try not to take advice from anyone who praises President Putin and his military strategy". Well, if they are taking advice from whoever masterminded the Afghanistan debacle, they need to stop it. We are being led by idiots.

The wife of Democratic Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman claimed “swimming in America is very racist” — as she likened her husband’s use of closed captioning to turning up the brightness on a smartphone. “Historically, swimming in America is very racist, and usually when you look at drowning statistics, it usually affects children of color, because of lack of access,” Gisele Fetterman said on the iGen politics podcast on Thursday. Gisele made the comments while discussing how she and her husband, Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor, had decided not to move into the state-owned mansion in Harrisburg but made the pool accessible

At newspapers, obituaries are typically written in advance. The Washington Post had plenty to work with when the death of Lucianne Goldberg happened, but instead of remembering good, or at least balancing their summary, they selectively chose to remember the great muse of the right, Internet pioneer, and accomplished woman from a time when women weren't allowed much accomplishment, by printing only cherry-picked tales of dubious sourcing that made her look phony. It was garbage. It stood in stark contrast to the insightful and warm-hearted tweets that overwhelmingly were the consensus on Twitter, from wildly different parts of the Internet spectrum.

COLLEGE PARK, GA – Former President Barack Obama repeatedly took aim at Herschel Walker, the Republican Senate nominee in Georgia who’s challenging Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock in a crucial battleground state Senate showdown. The former president, making his return to the campaign trail on behalf of fellow Democrats with just a week and a half to go until Election Day, criticized Walker, the former college and professional football star and first-time candidate, as "a celebrity to who wants to be a politician." Obama, who remains the most popular person in the Democratic Party nearly six years after he left the White House, is trying to perform some last-minute political magic

President Biden on Friday called the attack on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) husband at their San Francisco home “despicable” and suggested it was a natural progression from lies Republicans have spread about the 2020 election. “This is despicable. There’s no place in America. There’s too much violence, political violence, too much hatred, too much vitriol,” Biden said at the start of remarks to Pennsylvania Democrats.“And what makes us think that one party can talk about stolen elections, COVID being a hoax, that it’s all a bunch of lies, and it not affect people who may not be so well balanced,” Biden continued. “What makes us think that it’s not going to

A climate protester glued his shaved head to the world-famous “Girl with a Pearl Earring” painting at a museum in The Hague on Thursday, the latest in a series of stunts targeting iconic artworks. A second activist glued his hand to the wall next to the painting and poured a can of tomato soup over his accomplice’s head, before going on a rant about climate change while being jeered by stunned onlookers. Dutch master Johannes Vermeer’s 1665 canvas is protected by glass at the Mauritshuis museum and was not damaged, gallery staff said. “The police were notified and three people have been arrested.

The San Francisco Police Department confirmed during a press conference on Friday evening that Paul Pelosi, husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was somehow able to call 911 before being attacked with a hammer, allowing dispatch to respond. Police Chief William Scott said when officers arrived Paul Pelosi and the attacker were standing in the entryway to the home, each holding onto the hammer. Confirmation that Paul Pelosi made a 911 call came after media reports said he had secretly called 911 so that the intruder would not know and spoke in a way that would alert the dispatcher to what was happening without giving himself away.
