A dog named Bullet helped save the lives of a clerk and a store manager in Philadelphia on Tuesday by engaging two armed suspects, the manager said.
The incident took place just before 4:00 a.m. at the Big A corner store in the 5500 block of Torresdale Avenue in the Wissinoming neighborhood, according to KYW.
“Two people come with a big gun and small gun, they come in straight up and put the gun to the girl’s head and my head and said like don’t move,” said store manager Sammy Aloubehi.
The store manager also told local media that Bullet was the reason he and his 32-year old-clerk are still alive.

When urban youth run wild in the cities...... Killing and maming each other with ham guns, The government's answer is to crack down on rural people who have long guns.

Her employer should have paid for significant time on the firing range. She really needed some bullets on target.

The government fears the recalcitrance of rednecks because they know that they're in position these days without the consent of the governed.
Those in government are wise to anticipate and prepare for the coming redneck revolution.

Dog deserves whatever food it wants, for life. I would contribute to its ribeye-for-life fund.

she could use some range time, but this kind of thing is happening more and more as our cities sink into violent anarchy: citizens arm to protect themselves.
god bless dogs!!

My favorite part of the video is when the dogs ears point straight up. You can see him trying to assess the situation and then he's, "what's going on here? Not on my patch!"

Four hits and the robber is fine, albeit in the hospital. You need to have a significant caliber and make good centered hits. Range practice time is required.
Ol' Bullet just wanted to play, it looks like, but a good distraction.

Even though the dog seems to be looking for affection more than pressing an attack, the distraction was enough to give the owner time to interrupt the robbery attempt.

Shame on the police (usually I am a staunch supporter of law enforcement, but the police is different here in the South)

FTA: "...but according to local reports the store clerk had a permit to use that gun."
I believe the Pennsylvania permit is issued to carry the gun but a whole host of caveats are imposed for using it in defense of one's person , a third party, or property. As usual for these Defiant America articles the attached videos seldom, if ever, match the headlines or the lede text.

If the Philadephia DA doesn't enforce the laws, then Samuel Colt, the Peacemaker, will. The only issue I have with the store owner is his aim. Otherwise he should be applauded not scorned by the Philadelphia LEOs.

I don't know why Stop-N-Rob stores say open 24 hours. It seems the only business they conduct is with a gun.
There should be a campaign in the cities for owners and clerks in these stores to display prominent signs at the door: ' Employees May Be Armed'. Have all the talking news heads report on how awful that is. It's the same theory that states whicht allow gun ownership protect even the non-owners.

The dog looks to be at least part Akita. He was looking more for pets than anything else lol. We have a full Akita and she’s far from dangerous but does not warm up to strangers quickly. She’s the one I count on more than the others. Our kids came over one day before we got home and our mastiff was cowering in the corner. Which is why I have bang bang both downstairs and up. They just need to slow an intruder down not fully take them out.

The cops took the gun from the clerk while they let these thugs run free! They shot the clerk, to hell with charging them with armed robbery, charge them with attempted murder.25- to life in most states for that,8- 10 for armed robbery, Unless of course, the DA is a woke moron then 30 days, time served and they are back on the streets. This is why people should arm themself! Besides gun dogs are always here to protect you!
