Nearly half of young American adults are living with their parents, while a similar share rely on financial assistance from family or others to cover everyday expenses, according to new Federal Reserve data highlighting the mounting economic pressures facing younger generations. A former credit union branch manager in Columbus, Indiana, has been sentenced to three years in federal prison after admitting to stealing more than $381,000 from customer accounts, including accounts belonging to elderly and vulnerable customers. Teresa Palmer, 55, of Columbus, was also sentenced to three years of supervised release and ordered to pay $381,400.05 in restitution.
