Social Security: Who Represents the Beneficiary?

Original Article

The reality of the Social Security system and laws is that the system design is fundamentally and fatally flawed. Unless we fix the design flaws, any other changes to the system are purely cosmetic and doomed to perpetual tinkering, temporary fixes, and eventual failure. We will have failed our younger citizens by failing to address the flaws. The options are painfully simple. Do nothing, which our federal government has done well since the program's inception, or truly fix the system. The crux of the problem is that the Social Security system was never structured to keep the beneficiary front and center of every investment decision.

Coca-Cola faces renewed backlash from Christian consumers after viral videos claimed its online personalized can feature allowed messages such as “I love Satan” and “Satan is King” while rejecting phrases including “I love Jesus” and “Jesus is King.” The claims circulated widely on social media platforms, including a post by Sachin Jose on X that referenced the reported discrepancy. Social media users shared screen recordings of tests on the Coca-Cola Store website’s customization tool. The demonstrations prompted calls for boycotts of the company’s products.

The day of the transition of power in Colombia has finally arrived. Four years of its first left-wing president in modern history have come to an end, and the voters have replaced the former guerrilla and all-around clown, Gustavo Petro, with a much better option. It's a great day for that country and a great day for our entire hemisphere. Just to recap, Colombia held elections for president in May, with run-offs in June, and Abelardo de la Espriella, aka "El Tigre" or "The Tiger," won against Petro's hand-picked left-wing candidate, Ivan Cepeda. El Tigre is a lawyer —

It's been ten years since Hillary Clinton lost her race to be president, her hopes dashed by the guy she thought she could easily beat, and who has now gone on to another term. Yet, she still seems fully obsessed with him. So he not only beat her in that race, but he's beaten her ever since, if she has him constantly living rent-free in her mind. Clinton appeared on Kara Swisher's Pivot podcast, and she spoke about what Democrats should do if they were able to take back the White House in the future. Talk about projection. But think about what Clinton is saying there —

President Donald Trump committed to slashing foreign aid to save American taxpayers money, cut foreign waste, and remove funding from programs that do not extend American values in his second term, resulting in the lowest level of foreign aid flowing out of the country in over two decades. The Pew Research Center’s analysis of federal trends released July 21 reveals that foreign aid plummeted in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, 2025, to the lowest level since 2004. The U.S. still funneled out $47.3 billion in foreign aid according to data from ForeignAssistance.gov. But when adjusted for inflation,

A Republican lawmaker is seeking a special session to pass a voter ID proposal after New Jersey’s Democrat Gov. Mikie Sherrill supported the general policy. Republican state Sen. Michael Testa Jr. is calling for the Legislature to reconvene and pass a bill that he co-sponsored requiring voters to present photo ID at polling places, in light of revelations that at least 6,600 noncitizens were registered to vote in the Garden State. “I think it’s necessary, if not possible,” Testa told the Daily Signal of a special session to pass the bill, noting the Legislature’s Democrat majority is not likely to support it.

After a hacker exfiltrated the data of 633,000 Maricopa County, Arizona, voter records in 2020, zero prosecutors at any level of government would prosecute despite urging from the FBI. Documents released Thursday morning by the White House Government Transparency Task Force detail the massive data breach, an investigation by the FBI, a suspect who admitted to the crime, and a years-long attempt by the FBI to get someone to prosecute, only to close the case due to a lack of prosecutor interest.

Here we go again. Coca-Cola is facing a new wave of backlash after viral videos appeared to show the company’s online personalization tool immediately rejecting positive Christian messages, while references to Allah, Satan, and even degrading attacks on Jesus advanced to the preview stage. Conservative commentator Isabel Brown tested the customizer on camera after receiving a tip from a friend. In the video, phrases including “Allah is good,” “Muhammad is good,” and “Satan is good” appeared to generate can previews. But when Brown entered “Jesus is good,” the site returned a rejection message: “The name or phrase you’ve submitted is not permitted.”

The Democrat Party’s candidate for the U.S. Senate from Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed, and his surrogates are ready to condemn you for “Islamophobia” if you dare to bring up the money he received from the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) or his defense of a jihad terror attack on a Jewish preschool.El-Sayed, his backers would have you believe, is a manifestation of America’s glorious “diversity,” a sign of how marvelously multicultural our nation has become, and that, they tell us, should be a cause for celebration for all people except racist, bigoted “Islamophobes.” A recent El-Sayed speech, however,

Abdul El-Sayed won the Democrat Senate primary and will face Republican Mike Rogers in a key race in the midterm election. More ominously, between employees and leaders of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), El-Sayed has raised over $115,000. But CAIR is little more than a front group for Islamic jihad, with close ties to Hamas. Fox News reviewed evidence that resulted in the exposé on El-Sayed, who ironically has made “money out of politics” a rallying cry in his campaign. Then again,

(The Center Square) — The Trump administration unveiled a dashboard on Thursday to track fraud investigations and enforcement actions. The dashboard, Fraud.gov, reports that the administration uncovered $229.9 billion in fraud since January 2025. The dashboard said the administration stopped $56.4 billion in annualized fraud and $55.5 billion from indictments or settlements. The administration's Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, formally announced in February, sought to partner with agencies across the executive branch to combat fraud. The dashboard reports three figures from each executive agency: fraud uncovered, fraud stopped and fraud enforced.

WASHINGTON — A federal appeals court blocked further construction of President Trump’s planned White House ballroom Friday, ruling that the massive project must first receive congressional approval. A divided panel of DC circuit judges determined that “Congress has exclusive authority to regulate the construction and demolition of White House structures.” “We are aware of no instance in American history in which a President unilaterally and using privately collected funds demolished substantial portions of the White House that Congress authorized to be built and American taxpayers paid for. Until now,” wrote judges Patricia Millet and Bradley Garcia in their majority opinion. “The Constitution’s Property Clause vests Congress with plenary control

He lost that bid before aiming to represent the state at the federal level. The footage comes from the documentary “How To Fix A Primary,” which followed El-Sayed’s unsuccessful gubernatorial campaign. In the scene, El-Sayed can be seen walking toward the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan as one of the island's iconic horse-drawn carriages pass by. “I hate Mackinac so much,” El-Sayed says in the video. He then references the island’s being the governor’s official summer residence,

Yesterday I took a stab at why the pollsters were so far off on the Michigan Senate race. I think it was a pretty good first stab at explaining the issue, and no doubt there will be a lot of focus on the issue by people more competent than I to explain how the pollsters got things so wrong. So I asked my friend-through-X, Scott Rasmussen, what he thought, and he was kind enough to give some insight into the issue. First, let's look at the magnitude of the problem: The polls weren't just off by a little; they missed the result by double digits. And it was everybody,
