Elon Musk, the mercurial trillionaire, is planning another massive cash binge on behalf of the GOP's midterm campaign that might just be enough to keep the Republicans in power in the House and Senate. In 2024, Musk dropped a cool $260 million to help elect Donald Trump. No word on exactly how much Musk is willing to shell out this election cycle, but it will only add to the Republicans' massive cash advantage over the Democrats for the November contests. Democrats lead Republicans on the generic ballot by 8 points among registered voters, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. Democrats also continue to hold a significant advantage in voter enthusiasm and have a 20-point advantage in preferences among those who say they are extremely motivated to vote. More Americans say the country would be better off (38%) than worse off (33%) if Democrats were to take control of Congress this November, with 29% saying it wouldn’t make a difference.
About a third of Democrats and Democratic-leaning adults identify as democratic socialists, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS.
They’re some of the party’s staunchest supporters, but many are also raring for a party overhaul at a time when democratic socialists are seeing new momentum at the polls.

According to multiple reports, Keaton had admonished a pair of fans who brought signs into Climate Pledge Arena supporting Fever guard Sophie Cunningham following her recent comments about transgender athletes. The fans told unDividedPod.com that Keaton directed expletives at them for a sign that thanked Cunningham "for speaking up for girls."
Along with the suspension, Keaton was fined an undisclosed amount, the league said.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) and his Senate GOP colleagues find themselves in a serendipitous moment, having before them a tremendous opportunity to serve the nation’s interests while simultaneously benefiting their party’s narrower political interests.
