So here we are: July 4, 2026, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. For the last several weeks, a crescendo of celebratory events has been building: fireworks without end, day-long flyovers of military aircraft, speeches, parties, and conferences galore. Nor have the celebrations been confined to America. All across the world, spectacular light shows, fireworks, and other red, white, and blue extravaganzas have rung out their grateful and congratulatory chorus. And quite right, too. For the Declaration marked the opening foray of what would become the greatest country the world had ever seen. At least,

Damncommie could have boiled his entire speech down to this one insidious line: It’s Us versus Them, Comrade, and class warfare must go on forever. And Black Americans should take a look at that picture and realize: they are slowly being edged out of the Grievance Jamboree by People of Not So Much Color, but the right (non-African) ethnicity.

I always roll my eyes when I hear that the average worker is the one who built a successful company. Where was the average worker when the owner put up his own money, risked all he/she had, and worked 14 hours days to launch a new company? Instead of envying successful people, all the people with their hand out should pool their own money and start their own company and take all the risk. Not possible, you say? Then you admit that the company owners have something that you do not.

#2 I know about building a successful company. My DH started a construction company and worked those 14+ hour days. Office was in our home and I did his secretarial work so some evenings I would go to bed, he was still working. I would get up at 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning to take care of whatever he had been working on the night before. I had an hour's drive to my own work. He passed ten years ago but I am still living at age 81 and I have enjoyed my retirement years because of his hard work and some of mine all those years ago. This amazing country lets you do those things and reap the benefits. I love my country and am sad that more don't appreciate the opportunities that are available to us. OT, but can you imagine any president other than our PDJT leading us in celebration of this 250th birthday. I read so many comments downing him and his speeches, making fun of the fair. I wish those people would have to trade places with the soccer players who would probably give anything they had to be a part of this country.

I would like to call Mamdani the most dishonest politician in America. But I cannot - as long as Barack Hussein and Hillary Clinton draw breath. He is #3. As for Donald Trump - he may have said things which are not literally true. But Trump is a liar IS the biggest lie in the public domain today.

You may be familiar with the agitprop group called the Patriot Front. They always showed up at convenient times when the Democrats were in power, obviously to make it look like the right is nothing but khaki-wearing white supremacists akin to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). Of course, this was before the arrival of the second Trump administration and its Department of Justice, which is presently investigating the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) on allegations it was behind the funding and support of several real white supremacists and white supremacist groups, including the actual KKK. More often than not, everyday conservatives on the X platform, along with well-known conservatives,

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's speech for our nation's 250th birthday has gotten a lot of well-deserved criticism. It was pretty awful on the whole. But there was one particular part on Friday that got a lot of attention, in which he lambasted America, attacked Elon Musk, and demonized Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The swipe against Musk was particularly nasty, saying children go hungry while the world's first trillionaire (Musk) "hungers for more." In that you can see the evil of the radical left - to demonize the people who are actually achieving and whipping up envy and class warfare. But Elon Musk responded,

President Trump marked the 250th birthday of the United States Saturday night with a speech paying tribute to the “glory” of America while vowing to protect it from the “cancer” of communism. “For 250 years, the United States of America has been the hope, the promise, the light, and the glory among all of the nations of the world, all over the world. They try and be like us. Nobody can be like us,” Trump said to a cheering crowd of more than 150,000 people on the National Mall who braved a thunderstorm-forced evacuation to hear the president speak in the 11 p.m. hour. In another case of federal bureaucrats challenging elected leaders, seven employees of the Environmental Protection Agency who signed onto a public letter opposing President Donald Trump were eventually ousted. Now they’re suing to get their jobs back. The terminated employees are suing with the backing of the litigation group Democracy Forward. Democrat lawyer Marc Elias is chairman of the board for Democracy Forward, which has filed numerous lawsuits advocating for the federal bureaucracy against elected leaders. Elias is best known for election litigation for Democrats, and for his role in pushing the Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says he plans to formally designate more than 90 organizations as foreign terrorist organizations in a sweeping antiterrorism measure. After signing HB 1471 into law, DeSantis says he has greater statutory authority to identify, designate, and combat terrorist organizations operating in Florida. The groups he plans to designate as FTOs include the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim Brotherhood, Antifa and more than 90 groups, including Mexican cartels. His actions follow Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who began making FTO designations four years ago.

Over the weekend, some of Hollywood's most legendary hip-hop artists will be performing in Washington amidst the backdrop of the nation's 250th birthday, disregarding any former stigmas surrounding President Donald Trump that previously prevented such performances. One of the biggest acts of the 250 concert series on the National Mall was Thursday night, featuring multi-platinum recording artist Flo Rida, whose 2007 breakout single "Low" was number one on U.S. charts for ten weeks and broke the record for digital download sales at the time of its release. He performed to a packed-out crowd in scorching temperatures hovering around 100 degrees,

The weather might not be the only thing heating up this week. As America heads into Independence Day and the nation's 250th birthday, the country has plenty to celebrate. The United States, alongside Canada and Mexico, is hosting the biggest sporting event in the world, the World Cup. The U.S. Men's National Team advanced to the Round of 16 Wednesday night with a 2-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina and now faces Belgium in a highly anticipated rematch of their 2014 World Cup showdown. FIFA projects the tournament will generate billions of dollars in economic activity and support roughly 180,000 jobs. As Just the News reported last month,

Speaking at Mount Rushmore on Friday to commemorate the 250th anniversary of our nation, President Donald Trump sounded the alarm: “As we approach this magnificent anniversary, we see our American identity under a renewed attack.” He observed that “a generation after we fought and won the Cold War against the menace of communism, there is now a resurgence of the communist menace in our land, including from newcomers to our country who embrace ideas totally opposed to our way of life and our great success.” There was no doubt whatsoever that what he was saying was true, and that thirty-five years after the end of the Cold War,

An Air Force major was arrested on the steps of the Capitol on Wednesday after calling for President Trump’s and Vice President Vance’s impeachments. Peaceful demonstrations are permitted on Capitol grounds, but a protester must remain alongside a member of Congress to speak openly from the steps. Originally, Air Force Maj. Jason Watson was accompanied by Rep. Al Green (D-Texas), who later left. Upon the lawmaker’s exit, Watson was directed to come off the steps or face arrest, U.S. Capitol Police told The Hill. Watson was then arrested for crowding, obstructing and incommoding, the authorities noted in a statement. “When the president of the United States orders military
