MS Swirsky does not know scripture or her Bible. Christ dictated the end times or last days to John and created the book of Revelation or the prophesy of Ps 83. Israel is NOT going to give back any new land they have seized since May 7th war started in Ps 83. They have won additional borders and will begin to believe that they have security zones. And the satanic enemy (islam) led by satan promises war upon war and chaos and evil against Israel until Christ returns.

Abelardo de la Espriella, a conservative political newcomer backed by President Donald Trump, declared victory Sunday in Colombia’s cliffhanger presidential election as Latin America continued to shift to the right during the American president's second term. De La Espriella captured 49.7% of the vote, with liberal Iván Cepeda taking 48.7% in a runoff seen as a verdict on outgoing President Gustavo Petro and a stagnant economy ridden by crime. Election officials had not formally declared a winner Sunday night, but de la Espriella declared victory and said he had already spoken with Trump.

On Wednesday a warehouse fire erupted in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Boyle Heights, just east of Downtown L.A. The solar panels on the roof of a cold food storage facility continued to blaze through the night, billowing toxic smoke into the atmosphere, and thwarting any efforts made by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) to contain it. It is five days later, and the building is still burning. Take note of that last point. LAFD mitigated a fire at this building before, which was caused by the same issue. However, thanks to the cuts that both Gov. Gavin Newsom and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass

It’s heartening to see foreign soccer fans, especially the Europeans, marvel at their U.S. discoveries. They’ve been awed by Buc-ee’s, Waffle House, and Bass Pro Shops, the best examples of Americana. But what we’re seeing also makes us wonder how long America will still be America. “Soccer fans like Freddy from Germany are embracing U.S. culture as they crisscross the country — and going viral,” says Danielle Shapiro of the Manhattan Institute. “Thousands of Europeans are seeing more of America this summer than many New York Times staffers ever will,” tweets Jimmy G. Germans and Scots are singing “American Pie” while the English sing “Sweet Caroline” at a … Texas rodeo.

A federal judge on Thursday said she’ll only consider parts of challenges to President Trump’s executive order that seeks to restrict mail-in voting, ruling the plaintiffs need to wait before raising concerns about elections beyond this year. A group of voter education nonprofits and Democratic-led states separately sued the Trump administration in April in an attempt to block the executive order, which also requires states to verify that only U.S. citizens are registered. U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani denied the administration’s bid to dismiss the claims entirely, allowing challenges pertaining to the November midterms to go forward.

As Americans gather to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our founding, we should pause to appreciate how difficult it was to get 13 rebellious colonies to agree on anything—let alone on founding a nation. Too many Americans today believe that our political differences have become so intractable and our discourse so toxic that our very democracy is at risk. What they fail to realize is that our political differences have always seemed insurmountable, and our democracy was never easy. The story of the birth of our nation 250 years ago is a story of disagreements, debates, compromises, and moral courage. It’s a story of a group of rebellious Englishmen who—

Former Vice-President Al Gore emerged out of hiding to tout his so-called ‘prescience’ regarding global warming and it quickly backfired. On Wednesday, Gore sat down with ABC ‘News’ to reflect on the 20th anniversary of his environmental propaganda film “An Inconvenient Truth” and the current state of the planet. As TGP readers know, Gore made a series of wild predictions about global warming in the film and in public that have not come to fruition. These included announcing in 2006 that the Arctic sea ice would completely disappear in ten years. It’s now 2026, and plenty of Arctic ice remains.

There is something oddly fitting about a controversy surrounding J. K. Rowling unfolding like a plotline from one of her own books. Not the magic. Not the wands. Not the dragons. The disappearing act. For years, Rowling has occupied a unique place in Western culture. She is simultaneously one of the most successful authors in human history and one of the most controversial public figures in modern publishing. Since speaking out on issues involving sex and gender, Rowling has become a lightning rod in the culture wars, drawing fierce criticism from activists, celebrities, and even some members of the Harry Potter community she helped create.

As I troll the internet looking for gun-related content, I see a lot of stories where there are arrests featuring both guns and drugs. In fact, every sizeable arrest features guns to some degree or another. And today was no different. This time, I've got a story out of Arkansas featuring both. Now, let's keep in mind that federal law prohibits people from lawfully owning guns if they use an illicit substance, and this isn't a case of people with a prescription for pot, which means it's illicit. It prevents felons from owning guns, machine guns are prohibited without certain strict criteria being met, and through it all, these guys had guns.

Comer said that “The Fund’s most recently available IRS Form 990EZ describes the organization’s primary tax-exempt purpose in three parts: 1) going against ‘democracy deniers’ who break the law; 2) defending free and fair elections; and 3) shaping long-term strategy to ‘defeat autocracy.’

The Obama Presidential Center finally opened to the public on Friday (not that you care), and the verdict from the internet was swift and brutal. People are calling it a "monstrous insult to architecture," a "concrete nightmare," and simply a "monstrosity." Social media has spent the week comparing the thing to a trash can and a dystopian movie set, which, having seen the photos, feels generous. It’s hideous. Naturally, the man who helped design the building's most mocked feature has a different take. Chris Bird, the Washington structural engineer who designed the upper portion of the center's towering centerpiece,

Unsuccessful 2024 Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris says the word “hope” should be “changed to a verb.” One problem with that. It already is. Hope can be used as both a noun and a verb. Don Lemon, her host on his podcast that appeared over the weekend, did not point that out. But those on social media, where the comment has gone viral, did as the sound bite was reposted on numerous X accounts. “It’s a noun: ‘I have hope that she never runs for any government office again,’” one user posted to X.

Ive been writing about electric vehicles since 2011, not because I have any objection to them or those that buy them. I just don’t want to pay for others’ greenie virtue signaling. Fortunately, with the end of the Biden Administration, the EV death spiral has nearly reached its inevitable, final crash. EVs were never ready for prime time. They were never sufficiently flexible to replace conventionally powered vehicles, particularly for single-car families. They’ve always been a niche product, purchased mostly by the top 7% of households in income, particularly because they were far more expensive than conventional vehicles in the same classes. Those folks had all the conventional vehicles they wanted
