The White House released the details of Trump's agreement with Iran on Wednesday.
A senior U.S. official briefed reporters on a 14-point memorandum of understanding expected to be signed Friday in Switzerland. Vice President JD Vance will attend. Trump had signaled the release was coming earlier this week. The agreement begins with a full stop to the fighting on all fronts, including Lebanon. This is not the final deal. It's a framework. Negotiators have 60 days to get the permanent agreement done. The agreement also seeks to restore commercial traffic through the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz.

With midterm elections just around the corner, both major political parties are themselves coping with divided constituencies. The Democratic Socialists vie for dominance against more moderate Democrats. MAGA Republicans confront disaffected libertarians and neocons. And outside all these polarized factions are millions of voters that don’t find any politician or political agenda credible enough to earn their allegiance. But there is a common thread shared by most disillusioned voters. They believe that America’s ruling class has abandoned its fellow citizens.

Pennsylvania Democrats rushed anti-school choice legislation Tuesday, bypassing regular order and sneaking up on Republicans. They aim to strip 30,000 children of educational scholarships, pocket the children’s scholarship money, and cut public charter school funding by $500 million.
Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro was elected in part because of his promise to return educational choice to parents and families. Between the most recent budget proposal and an offensive “assault” on school choice, the governor continues to backtrack on campaign promises.

RedState reported earlier on the disgraceful warning Major League Baseball issued in the aftermath of three San Francisco Giants baseball players (pitcher Landen Roupp, along with relievers J.T. Brubaker and Ryan Walker) refusing to bend the knee to "Pride Night" by writing Bible verses on their rainbow-themed hats during their Friday game against the Chicago Cubs.As my colleague Rusty Weiss noted, these were "Bible verses, mind you, that explain the true symbolism of the rainbow—God's covenant with Noah, his descendants, and every living creature after the great flood." The verses were Genesis 9:12-16:

What took them so long?
Reports are surfacing that White House aides are suddenly alarmed over the likelihood that top secret conversations on national security were taped and leaked to the New York Times.
Axios quotes an administration source as saying that, “We’re afraid some of our most sensitive conversations were being recorded, and we have no idea which ones.”
The outlet also writes that, “We hear President Trump is furious about the blow-by-blow accounts.”
The president has every right to be furious, but he shouldn’t stop there.
Situation Room meetings are classified, and the mere possibility that details of conversations,

former Oklahoma detention deputy is facing a potential life sentence and $250,000 fine for disregarding a pretrial detainee's medical needs, resulting in her ultimate death.
According to a Justice Department press release Monday, a federal jury convicted Paula Kelley on June 12 of violating Title 18, Section 242, which criminalizes anyone acting under color of law who willfully deprives someone of a right protected by the Constitution or U.S. laws. Kelley worked as a detention deputy at Garvin County Jail in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
Kelley's deliberate indifference to pretrial detainee Kayla Turley's serious medical needs resulted in Turley's ultimate death.

A Richmond judge denied two motions against the Democrat Party of Virginia and Gov. Abigail Spanberger Monday in a defamation case, and the plaintiff told the Daily Signal that he plans to appeal the decisions.
“I will be appealing these decisions,” Thomas Speciale, a retired Army intelligence officer and a former Republican U.S. Senate candidate, told the Daily Signal outside the courtroom of the Richmond City Circuit Court.
Speciale sued the Democratic Party of Virginia for allegedly defaming him. The party issued a press release on Nov. 3, 2022, claiming that Speciale “attacked the U.S. Capitol” on Jan. 6, 2021, and suggesting that he “bloodied and beat law enforcement officers.” Speciale,

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) does not do a great media job speaking for the Democrats, and he proved that again on Monday during an appearance on Good Day New York.Jeffries tried to buffalo the anchors and the audience by criticizing President Donald Trump over "skyrocketing gas prices."This claim from Jeffries has two problems. First, oil prices have already been coming down because of the peace negotiations with Iran. Second, now that a deal is being signed, the prices are likely to drop even more, as shipping returns to normal.

Gov. Greg Abbott announced support Friday for closing Texas Republican primaries to non-Republicans, telling delegates at the 2026 Texas Republican Party Convention that “We are going to make it clear that in the future, only Republicans will vote in Republican primaries.”
The statement, delivered during the convention underway at the George R. Brown Convention Center, comes alongside long-standing Texas GOP platform goals of ending the state’s open primary system. Abbott’s endorsement comes as the party seeks greater control over its nominating process following the March 3, 2026, primaries and recent runoffs.

The Diversity Lottery means you can receive immigrants from almost any of these countries on the watch list for human trafficking for the sole reason that “diversity is our greatest strength.” Lucky you!
The Immigration Act of 1965 abolished the National Origins quotas of the 1924 Act, which had favored European immigrants. As a result, America has had a flood of non-European immigrants . . . and Europeans were, in effect, discriminated against for Visas.
In 1990, the late Teddy Kennedy instituted the “Diversity Visa Lottery” with the specific intention of allowing more Irish immigrants to the U.S.

Cam already talked about how Gun Owners of America is backing Byron Donalds for governor down in Florida, and the reaction of some people to the news. It seems that this was a bit of a controversial decision by GOA, and a lot of people had big feelings about it. Some had gripes that I understood perfectly, while others...let's just say they didn't. But, GOA didn't just pick Donalds out of a hat. There's a reason why they backed that particular horse, and we need to talk about why that is.

The event has long been recognized as a horrific example of mistaken identity and friendly fire, one that still plagues modern warfare despite incredible technological innovations. In an article I wrote a year ago, I exposed the truth about this incident—friendly-fire tragedy—and how anti-Semites and anti-Zionists (although telling the difference between the two is getting harder by the day) exploit this tragic event to demonize Israel.
Massie, who has turned his Congressional tenure into a relentless hatefest against all things Jewish and Israeli, insisted on propping up the conspiracy theory, because, well, why exactly?
