President Trump says an agreement with the IRGC has been reached “in both concept and great detail,” and has suspended further bombing for the time being: Trump subsequently had a brief call with the New York Post in which he said, “It’s pretty much all wrapped up.” Whether this time is different from the many previous occasions on which the President has said that a deal is very close, remains to be seen. The financial markets are buying it, though: the Dow surged 1,000 points on the news.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump speak by phone about the emerging deal with Iran, according to the Prime Minister’s Office. In a statement that seeks to downplay the significance of the potential agreement, Netanyahu’s office says the two spoke about “the emerging memorandum of understanding with Iran regarding entry into negotiations.” In the conversation, Netanyahu expressed a rather optimistic take on an agreement, according to his office.

The Cleveland Clinic has reached a settlement with the Trump administration over pediatric gender-transition treatments, becoming the second major hospital system to do so in less than a month. Under the agreement, the hospital will stop providing puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to minors, commit $2 million to detransition care, and pay $308,000 to resolve billing allegations The agreement, announced on Friday by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, follows a similar settlement with Texas Children's Hospital announced in mid-May. As RedState reported at the time, Texas Children's agreed to pay $10 million, cease providing pediatric gender-transition interventions,

The imminent deal ensuring Iran will never have a nuclear weapon was “the whole purpose” of the war, President Donald Trump explained Thursday at a press briefing announcing that a peace agreement will likely be officially signed in the next few days. “Just had a big day,” Pres. Trump told reporters, noting that the deal is “subject to finalization of documents” at a signing ceremony expected to take place in Europe, perhaps over the upcoming weekend. The signing will immediately trigger the end to the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the president said: “The strait will officially open as soon as we sign

London — UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer suffered a fresh blow on Thursday after Secretary of Defense John Healey resigned over a budget dispute, saying the government is not willing to give the British Armed Forces the “resources they need.” Soon after, Minister of State for the Armed Forces Al Carns also announced his resignation in a letter posted to X, saying that the government is “failing” to give the armed forces what they need to do the job and the “loyalty to stand by them when it’s done.” Starmer, whose government’s popularity has collapsed just two years after a landslide general election victory,

The attack submarine remains an integral part of any navy. They are a primary weapon in the eternal battle to keep the seas open to free commerce. The world depends upon it, and the sailors and officers who man them are a special breed. Sailors trained to run the nuclear plants get the equivalent of graduate school education. In all the world, the British attack sub fleet is arguably closest to our own in terms of armament and capability. The Atlantic, and particularly the vital North Atlantic, is British territory, but as the British surface fleet has fallen into disrepair and its numbers have fallen below the minimum necessary

President Donald Trump may have had differences of opinion on votes in the past with Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME). But he was not holding back on Wednesday, when faced with a binary choice at this point. He was asked if he was "all in" for Collins and if she had his endorsement over her scandal-plagued, leftist Democratic opponent, Graham Platner. Trump being Trump was hilarious, and made the case simple. "She does because she's a sane woman. She's not my best friend at all," Trump said. "But she's a sane person. She's a person that's never missed a vote in many years. I mean, she's like 10,000 votes.

No phenomenon better illustrates howling phoniness: Democrats who falsely smeared President Trump as Hitler, and defamed patriotic MAGA Americans as Nazis, buoyed Maine senatorial candidate Graham Platner atop their shoulders on primary election night. Recent months’ news accounts detailed Platner’s foulness: the SS Deathshead “Totenkopf” tattoo he proudly wore for some 19 years (until investigative lights shone), his history of violent domestic abuse, his habit of referring to women with gutter vulgarian verbiage, his vow to rape home invaders as a means of establishing dominance, and wishing death upon a bullets-wounded U.S. military veteran.

President Trump's restrictive immigration policies are already impacting this year's 2026 FIFA World Cup. It’s over. The fight for Department of Homeland Security funding, that is. The Democrats denied the agency funding in February, resulting in a partial government shutdown that lasted over two months, leaving thousands of employees without paychecks for long periods. It was all over nonsensical demands for reforms to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), many of which would have severely curtailed agents’ ability to do their job. It looks like they won’t be able to play that trick for the rest of Donald Trump’s term, however, because the president signed the $70 billion Secure America Act into law on Wednesday:

Social Security provides guaranteed retirement income to over 70 million Americans. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities states that Social Security keeps more Americans out of poverty than any other program in the United States. The 2025 report found that the projected Old-Age and Survivors Insurance fund, which pays benefits to retirees and survivors of deceased workers, would be depleted by 2033. The “sweetest” elderly Mississippi couple were allegedly killed by a teenage burglar who then shot at cops during a six-hour standoff while barricaded in the house, according to authorities. Billy Blair, 74, and his wife, Virginia Carol Blair, 71, were killed after 17-year-old Cordarius Hobbs broke into their home last Wednesday, WLBT reported. Hobbs has since been charged with capital murder. Cops swooped on the Mendenhall home just after noon for a welfare check after worried relatives couldn’t make contact — but they encountered gunfire upon their arrival. The burglary was already taking place when police arrived and the front door was open.

The Postal Service proposed a new rule pushing states to turn over their mail-in and absentee voter rolls to the agency, a move in line with President Donald Trump’s March executive order tightening regulations on mail-in voting in federal elections. Since the start of his second administration, Trump has made election integrity and security a central issue, signing multiple executive orders to require proof of citizenship and crack down on mail-in voting fraud, essentially establishing a national voter verification system. His efforts have run into several legal hurdles, with judges ruling against requirements for proof of citizenship, and several Democratic states sue over the mail-in voting order.

The State Department is dismantling birth tourism networks across Africa and Europe, officials announced on Wednesday. An estimated 33,000 United States-born children are rewarded birthright American citizenship annually solely because their foreign parents arrived in the United States on a temporary visa, often a tourist visa, before they were born. Decades later, those American-born children can sponsor their parents for green cards. The birth tourism industry is widespread among Turkish nationals in New York City, Chinese nationals in California, Russian nationals in Florida, and Middle Easterners in Illinois. State Department officials said in a series of X posts they have just recently brought down in West Africa

So, we had 38 days of bombing, and then we’ve had 60 days of negotiations. So, there isn’t really an Iran war right now. We have a War Powers Act. The Left is all upset and trying to stop the war, but there is no war right now. It’s a waiting game. And what is the waiting game? The waiting game is that Iran feels that by giving a concession on Monday and taking it back on Tuesday and letting Hezbollah attack—

Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner claimed that he has been able to "make a living on the sea" since leaving the armed forces during a Friday rally, an assertion his financial disclosures don’t appear to support. Platner, who is running for Senate in Maine to unseat incumbent GOP Sen. Susan Collins, has long identified himself as an oyster farmer and harbor master, giving a blue-collar tinge to his left-wing campaign. Financial disclosures, however, show that he brings in relatively little money from oyster farming, with reports suggesting that Platner receives the majority of his income through veteran’s disability payments.
