Camille Kiefel, 36, filed a malpractice lawsuit against two Oregon therapists whom she alleges inappropriately approved her for the surgery after brief telemedicine sessions, despite her history of mental health diagnoses that included trauma, depression, suicidal ideation and ADHD.

Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder. As a surgeon, I would never consider amputating healthy body parts as psychological treatment, even if the patient wanted it. And there is a difference between physicians and non-physician health care providers. These were a social worker and a counselor, not psychiatrists. They were totally unqualified to make a surgical referral.

Let us all hope that these lawsuits put the fear of retribution and having no career again, ever, into the butchers who pretend to be doctors and to all these butcher shops who pretend to be hospitals to the point that they never do their butchery again.

Just wait about 10 or 15 years when young trans boys grow up to adults and they come to the full realization that certain people cut off their manhood. I doubt they will be satisfied with just suing.

As #7 says.... A few more expensive lawsuits and these surgeons will not be so eager to go cutting and splicing. Same thing for the insurance companies who I suspect are enabling much of this. They'll lose their eagerness to pay for this Evil. These procedures must be terribly expensive. Any L-dotters know where the money is coming from? Obamacare?

News outlets reported this week that Donald Trump Jr. is expected to marry his fiancee Bettina Anderson, a Palm Beach socialite, in a small wedding on a private island on Saturday. The president did not share an opinion of his son's fiancée but said that he hopes the pair have a "great marriage."

Trump expressed frustration in a post on Truth Social that Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) has refused to take this step, raging that the “Dumocrats cheat, lie, and steal, especially when it comes to Votes in Elections, but stick together, whereas the Republicans allow the Elizabeth MacDonoughs of the World to stay in power, and brutalize us.”
