President Donald Trump on Wednesday demanded that Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough be fired, arguing that over the years, her rulings have been “brutal” to Republicans.
The parliamentarian serves at the pleasure of the Senate Majority Leader, who can instruct the Senate Secretary to dismiss the official at any time.
Trump expressed frustration in a post on Truth Social that Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) has refused to take this step, raging that the “Dumocrats cheat, lie, and steal, especially when it comes to Votes in Elections, but stick together, whereas the Republicans allow the Elizabeth MacDonoughs of the World to stay in power, and brutalize us.”

Seattle’s lefty Mayor Katie Wilson admitted she was wrong to slam Starbucks and push for a boycott of the mega-coffee chain birthed in the Pacific City.
Wilson, 43, issued a terse mea culpa to the New York Times this week as questions swirl about whether the liberal Northwest city can attract and retain businesses, including Starbucks, which recently chose to expand its footprint in Tennessee.
The democratic socialist made waves last fall when she joined a barista union rally as mayor-elect and expressed her disgust with one of Seattle’s most recognizable businesses.

Tennessee GOP Gov. Bill Lee on Thursday delayed an inmate's execution by one year after the state Department of Corrections' medical staff failed to find a suitable vein to administer the lethal injection drugs into.
The man scheduled to be executed was Tony Carruthers, who was convicted of three 1994 murders and sentenced to death in 1996.
Lee scheduled the new execution to take place on May 21, 2027, exactly one year after he was initially scheduled for execution.
Carruthers' attorneys have argued that he was wrongfully convicted and stated he has mental illnesses that “continue to impair his understanding of his legal situation and his impending

The Senate RINO’s are threatening to obstruct President Trump’s midterm agenda. GOP Strategist Caroline Wren set the record state on Bannon’s War Room.
Caroline Wren: Over the last 72 hours, like these, the only people that were lobbying for a Cornyn endorsement were other GOP senators. And in the last 72 hours, the GOP senators had come out against President Trump on several things.
They told him:
** We’re not passing the Save America Act
** We’re not going to nuke the filibuster
** We’re not going to fund (security) for your ballroom
** The weaponization fund’s a bad idea
** W’re not going to fire the parliamentarian.

Virginia’s new Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger has just announced that she is signing an executive order to keep ICE agents away from polling places.
Why do you suppose such a thing would be necessary?
Democrats assure us that illegal aliens are not voting because they are forbidden from doing so by law. So why would they be worried about ICE showing up at polling places? It just doesn’t make any sense. Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger said Tuesday that she plans to issue an executive order on Wednesday to help election workers respond if federal agents show up at polling sites in Virginia.

Israel has created a list of all Palestinians who took part in the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attacks and is working to kill or arrest each one, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing current and former Israeli officials with knowledge of the matter.
According to the report, the list includes all Gazans who were identified as having crossed the border on October 7, as well as all Hamas leaders involved in orchestrating the massacre, during which some 1,200 people were killed and 251 taken hostage, mostly civilians, in the deadliest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.

The massive social‑services fraud carried out in Gov. Tim Walz’s Minnesota has been one of the top stories of the year as “The Quality Learing Center” came into our national lexicon and people like Walz and Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN-05) kept saying, “nothing to see here, folks.”
Now the chickens have come home to roost for one of the masterminds, however, and she will be staring at concrete walls for many a year. Cry me a river: “It was never my goal to do this.” Say what? You defrauded the people for hundreds of millions of dollars, and it was an accident?

An Air France flight was blocked from entering US airspace and instead diverted to Canada over fears of one passenger’s exposure to the Ebola outbreak in Africa.
Air France Flight 378 was scheduled to land at Detroit Metro Wayne Airport in Michigan late Wednesday afternoon before it changed course for Montreal Trudeau International Airport in the Canadian city.
US officials stopped the flight from entering the country after it was revealed a passenger from the Democratic Republic of Congo was allowed to board “in error,” the US Customs and Border Protection told CBS News.
“Due to entry restrictions put in place to reduce the risk of the Ebola virus,

Aimee Bock, the convicted ringleader of the $250 million Feeding Our Future fraud scheme in Minnesota, was sentenced to more than 40 years in prison on Thursday.
The judge handed Bock a 500-month sentence and ordered her to repay nearly $243 million to the federal government.
Last year, a jury found her guilty on multiple criminal counts, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery. Prosecutors said she orchestrated the largest pandemic fraud case in the country, which diverted tens of millions in government money meant to feed hungry children.

FLORENCE, Ariz. — An Arizona prisoner convicted of killing another man by throwing gasoline at him and lighting a match was put to death Wednesday, the first of three executions planned this week around the U.S.
Leroy Dean McGill, 63, was pronounced dead at 10:26 a.m. PDT following a lethal injection at the Arizona State Prison Complex in Florence. McGill was convicted of murder in the death of Charles Perez, who was attacked with his girlfriend in a north Phoenix apartment on July 13, 2002.
It was the first lethal injection carried out this year in Arizona, and McGill didn’t appear to be resisting at any point during the procedure.
