A woman who had her breasts removed after identifying as "nonbinary" has reached a confidential settlement after suing her mental health providers. Camille Kiefel, 36, filed a malpractice lawsuit against two Oregon therapists whom she alleges inappropriately approved her for the surgery after brief telemedicine sessions, despite her history of mental health diagnoses that included trauma, depression, suicidal ideation and ADHD.

Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder. As a surgeon, I would never consider amputating healthy body parts as psychological treatment, even if the patient wanted it. And there is a difference between physicians and non-physician health care providers. These were a social worker and a counselor, not psychiatrists. They were totally unqualified to make a surgical referral.

Just wait about 10 or 15 years when young trans boys grow up to adults and they come to the full realization that certain people cut off their manhood. I doubt they will be satisfied with just suing.

As #7 says.... A few more expensive lawsuits and these surgeons will not be so eager to go cutting and splicing. Same thing for the insurance companies who I suspect are enabling much of this. They'll lose their eagerness to pay for this Evil. These procedures must be terribly expensive. Any L-dotters know where the money is coming from? Obamacare?

These "mental health providers" Better be careful. These "therapists (activists) and doctors" who did these procedures may wind up getting "Mangioned" (New word folks). Especially when men wind up with no penis or a MICRO Penis for a lifetime after taking the drugs that cause it. They claim if you get off the drugs you have no bad side effects, but if you take the drugs during the time you develop IT never develops. Not that I wish anyone harm but old Louis has quite the following who love what he did. Just sayin'

Every March and November, Americans dread the notification in their inbox or on the news to “Remember to change your clocks!” Most of us rely on the adage “Fall back in fall—spring forward in spring” to sort out the confusion of which way the clock is moving. But you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who gets excited about the biannual shift. However, many Americans do love the later hours of sunlight daylight saving time affords. With equal fervor, others, particularly older people, dislike the thought of getting up in the dark that accompanies it. It is this lack of consensus, as well as significant pushback from health experts, that has stalled

The bill failed in a 216-204 vote, despite years of bipartisan support for the project. The legislation had been spearheaded by Rep. Nicole Malliotakis. The collapse came after Republicans amended the proposal to specify that the museum would be dedicated to “preserving, researching, and presenting the history, achievements, and lived experiences of biological women in the United States.” The revised legislation also prohibited the museum from portraying “any biological male as a female.”
