We haven’t seen or heard much from former California Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-14) since he abandoned his gubernatorial run and resigned from Congress in disgrace in April amid allegations of sexual abuse and rape. For a few days after the scandal broke, he holed up in the mansion of his buddy, billionaire Stephen Cloobeck — but then lefty timeshare titan turned on him, kicked him out of his house, and demanded that he return $1 million in donations. Now it’s Cloobeck’s turn to feel the heat, as he was arrested in West Hollywood Tuesday and charged with a felony for attempting to prevent or dissuade a victim or witness from testifying.

The less hear about Stinkwell, the better. Crooked, stupid, mean and ugly, what a combo. And his 'financier' is apparently a crook, too.

A Georgia mother is criticizing school officials after her 8-year-old son was suspended for bringing an object made from LEGO pieces to school that administrators determined resembled a gun. The child, a student at Walnut Creek Elementary School, was suspended for three days, according to his mother, who said the incident has raised concerns about how the school district handled the situation. (snip) The student's mother said her son, who has autism and ADHD, did not make threats at school.

Both my adult children reached out today to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day. My response was to thank them, not for their good wishes, but for saving me from being a miserable, selfish, perpetual adolescent. Suddenly, I was responsible for someone’s happiness, not my own. This was a necessary act of maturation for me—

Something big is on the horizon — and the people saying so aren't fringe voices on a podcast. They're senior Trump administration officials. Monica Crowley, the U.S. government's chief of protocol, dropped a significant claim on Wednesday: hard evidence that Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election is coming, and it's coming soon. "He did win in a landslide, and we will soon be able to give evidence about that," Crowley said. Now, she didn't lay out a timeline or spell out exactly what the evidence would look like, but the message was clear.

Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested the war in Ukraine was drawing to a close — just hours after he vowed to triumph at Moscow’s puniest Victory Day parade in years. “I think that the matter is coming to an end,” Putin told reporters inside the Kremlin Saturday about the four-year-long war. Putin said the United States — which he referred to as a “partner” and “friend” during his remarks, alongside the likes of China and India — was eager to help broker a deal. “Clearly, they have no need for this conflict, as they have many other priorities,” he said.

A former NFL player who owned a marketing company and was the beneficial owner of eight durable medical equipment (DME) companies was sentenced Wednesday to more than 16 years in prison for his role in a yearslong scheme that defrauded Medicare and the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA) out of nearly $200 million. Prosecutors said the defendant, Joel Rufus French, 47, of Armory, Mississippi, sold patient information and fraudulent doctors’ orders for orthotic braces that patients neither wanted nor needed.

The Utah Supreme Court Justice who had a romantic relationship with a leftist lawyer involved in helping the Democrats steal a congressional seat has resigned. In November, the Utah Third District Court struck down the congressional map crafted by the Republican-led state legislature, labeling it an unconstitutional “gerrymander” and replacing it with a map drawn by left-wing plaintiffs. The Democrats gained a seat in bright red Utah.

The IRS asked these churches for detailed information about their operations, not just about the alleged violations,” the task force wrote.

WASHINGTON — Former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas lamented the delay in immigration enforcement actions until the final year of President Biden’s term — despite having testified to Congress several times while in office that the US border was “secure.” In an appearance Tuesday at Politico’s Security Summit, Mayorkas discussed aspects of the “broken” immigration system in America, acknowledging that a “low bar” for those expressing “credible fear of persecution” allowed too many migrants into the country during the Biden administration. More than 8 million entered by the start of the 46th president’s final year in office — before Biden moved to shut down the border and crack down on illegal crossings

Not long ago, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul told New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to handle his own mess. Now she's writing him a $4 billion check to bail him out. Mamdani had barely settled into Gracie Mansion before he discovered what socialists always find out: Eventually, you run out of other people's money. His grand campaign promises — you know: free this, universal that — ran headlong into the reality that New York City couldn’t afford all the things Mamdani had campaigned on. So, Mamdani went looking to Albany for a bailout. And, originally, Hochul said no. "The mayor and City Council need to work together, identify savings,
