I was on active duty in the Navy in 1979 when the mullahs replaced the Shah and started their special Islamic revolution. I never served in Vietnam but was stationed with a number of veterans of that war, and was surprised when so many of them started repeating what became almost a chant in our unit: “Nuke them, nuke them. Nuke them ‘til the sands turn to glass.” I was working in a big hospital, and the chanters were mainly doctors and corpsmen. They were, as we might say nowadays, kidding, not kidding. The proper term is death cult. What's going on goes way beyond fanaticism. A person can be fanatical about their favorite football team. Death cults don't believe you have the right to live and will kill everyone around them including their own followers. The tools of a death cult are genocide, suicide, and mass suicide. That describes what is going on inside Iran and throughout Islam perfectly.

The fact that Islam is the prime driver of the behavior of these governments is simply not grasped by the West. Such people being in charge of our security and policies is in some ways more frightening than the Mullahs’ madness.

"Globally, there are about 170–220 million Twelvers. These include:[4][5][6] most of the inhabitants of Iran, Iraq, and Azerbaijan,[7] about half of the Muslim population of Bahrain and Lebanon, and sizeable minorities in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.[8][9][10][11][12][13] Iran is the only country where Twelver Shi'ism is the state religion.[14]" Much more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelver_Shi'ism

This is pretty big to be called "a cult". And if most Iranians are believers in this Twelver ideology, how likely is a true regime hange?

These 12th imam crazies see it as their religious duty to cause Armageddon, and most interpret that as starting a widespread nuclear war, to fulfill some insane 9th century prophecy. Completely irrational, but dedicating all their efforts and their children's efforts to causing a nuclear Armageddon as their GOAL. Dangerous. The only solution is to kill these people who believe it is their religious duty to cause nuclear war.

Here’s How Trump Can Nuke Virginia’s
New Gerrymandered Map — And It's Brilliant!

Virginia used to be a model of fair redistricting. That reputation is now gone. On Tuesday, Virginia Democrats passed a redistricting plan that transforms one of the most fairly apportioned states in the country into one of the most blatantly gerrymandered. Keep in mind that Virginia only narrowly backed Kamala Harris over Donald Trump in 2024 by roughly five points. Virginia is, in every way, a battleground state. Yet under the new map, nearly half the state’s voters effectively lose their voice. The new lines snake from densely packed, heavily Democratic suburbs deep into rural territory. There is nothing democratic about it.

As he stood center stage in Newark Monday night, Bruce Springsteen was a familiar portrait of rock-god pomp and fervor. Fans roared with adoration as the resolute Boss opened his Prudential Center concert with the same preamble he’s given each night on his new tour: “The America I love, the America that I’ve written about for 50 years that has been a beacon of hope and liberty around the world is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless and treasonous administration,” he said. “Tonight we ask all of you to join with us in choosing hope over fear, democracy over authoritarianism, the rule of law over lawlessness,

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) for decades has lectured America about the ever-present threat of “hate” groups while raking in hundreds of millions from donors fearful of these organizations. But on Tuesday, the Trump DOJ dropped a bombshell: an 11-count federal indictment charging the SPLC with wire fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering for secretly funneling more than $3 million in donor cash to actual extremists. Among those nefarious payments was a staggering $270,000 allegedly paid to a member of the online leadership chat group that planned the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville.

"Awesome," Murphy wrote on X in response to a post reporting that 26 ships in Iran's shadow fleet have made it past the US blockade in the Gulf of Oman. Murphy’s post adds to his long-running criticism of President Donald Trump’s foreign policy and revived scrutiny over his past posture toward Iran, giving critics fresh ammunition to cast the Connecticut Democrat as hostile to U.S. interests. Social media commenters unleashed on Murphy for the message, with some asking if his account was "hacked"

The April 11 protest conducted by the “resistance” at the Whipple Federal Building in the Twin Cities culminated in an assault on TPUSA reporter Savanah Hernandez. The assault was captured on video. Among the perpetrators were “suburban dad” Chris Ostroushko and suburban daughter Paige. Suburban mom DeYanna Ostroushko was in the mix as well. I call them the family that flays together. Chris was of course featured in the January 27 Star Tribune profile “This suburban dad’s rant became touchpoint of ICE opposition.” The profile by Rachel Hutton constituted one small part of the Star Tribune’s daily support of “ICE opposition” during Operation Metro Surge. A curious characteristic of totalitarian communist regimes is the dearth, if not the total absence, of comedy. No comedy films were ever made in the Soviet Union or in any of the other communist countries. In fact, cinemas in communist countries were almost always empty, the films being so mind-numbingly abysmal. (One time in Havana, the government allowed American films to be shown in a theater and the lines stretched around the block, whereupon the government arrested the attendees inside the theater.) In the Soviet Union, circuses were a major source of popular entertainment, devoid of the usual crude propaganda. The favorite aspect of Soviet circuses were the clowns, when the

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is distinguishing herself on the U.S. Supreme Court — and not in a positive way. It’s as though she’s positioned on an island defined by woke ideology, racial justice, and equity, while the other eight justices remain on the mainland of restraint. For proper context, it’s important to know about a case that was in front of her and the other members of the court. The case centered on an early morning police stop in Washington, D.C., where a Metropolitan Police officer responded to a call about what was described as a suspicious vehicle. At around 2 a.m., the officer approached the car, and immediately

By almost any analysis, Christianity is the superior religion. Of all, Christianity reigns supreme. Christianity has positively transformed the entire world. Even now, ill-informed leftists don’t realize most of their thoughts on the dignity of the human and individual freedom -- and hundreds more -- are due to Christianity. Thomas Jefferson noted, “Had the doctrines of Jesus been preached always as pure as they came from his lips, the whole civilized world would now have been Christians.” And if one is going to become a Christian it would seem that His Church, the Catholic Church, should be the choice. The newest Gaza freedom flotilla has come under the spotlight – not because of its stated aim of “breaking the Israeli siege on Gaza” – but because a senior member was accused of sexual misconduct. Not one person. Not two. Three different individuals.” Heart of Falastin then said,

New York City continues its tragic decline under the failed stewardship of buffoonish Mayor Zohran Mamdani, as spotlighted by a disturbing video showing three out-of-shape NYPD officers failing to restrain a subway thug. The incident, which occurred on a subway platform in the Bronx, underscores how Mamdani‘s embrace of anti-meritocratic DEI hiring practices has eroded public safety and emboldened criminals. The video, which was originally posted on Instagram, was reposted on X on Monday. “Three NYPD officers are unable to take down one thug at the Tremont Avenue subway stop in NYC,” an X user observed.

Virginia voters on Tuesday approved a redistricting referendum that will allow the state legislature to redraw its congressional maps outside the normal cycle in a manner expected to favor Democrats. The Associated Press called the contest in favor of the yes campaign just before 9:00 p.m., with 84% of precincts reporting. As of press time, "yes" stood at just over 50% of the vote. The state currently has six Democratic members of Congress and five Republicans. The planned Democratic map is expected to produce 10 Democratic-leaning seats and one Republican-leaning seat.
