Tim Cook Steps Down as Apple CEO

Original Article

Tim Cook will continue to be the executive chairman at tech giant Apple, but is stepping down from his longtime position as CEO of the company. Cook has made a great financial success of Apple, indeed, but many conservatives also remember how he oversaw implementation of a woke agenda. Recently, this has been particularly obvious on Apple News, as Media Research Center found. Apple News went on a 100-day streak of no right-leaning media through the start of February, and proved the most radical major online news aggregator again in March.

I avoid Apple products in all things. Their overbearing, 'our way or no way' attitude towards customers is not compatible with my requirements as a customer.

The California Supreme Court officially disbarred President Donald Trump’s former attorney, John Eastman, last week over his work assisting Trump to dispute the 2020 election results. Eastman merely provided options for Trump to consider in a legal memo — some of which would have resulted in Joe Biden winning the election — and drafted and filed a brief for him in the election challenge Texas v. Pennsylvania. In contrast, none of the attorneys involved in the 2000 election challenge representing Al Gore over “hanging chads” in Florida were disciplined.

When politicians write a book (and the word "write" is doing heavy lifting because they use ghostwriters), they're generally not really trying to sell books; (snip) According to Federal Elections Commission (FEC) reports analyzed by the New York Times, the PAC "spent $1,561,875 to buy and distribute copies of his book through the donation program." They sold 67,000 books through the program, "roughly two-thirds of the 97,400 the print copies of the memoir that have been sold," according to the New York Post.

Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff knew Eric Swalwell was bedding a Chinese spy and was a national security risk, but the former House speaker and House Intel Committee chair doubled down on their support for the now-accused rapist, Eric Swalwell. The story of the congressman’s dank and disgusting infamy was related by a former House Speaker to a Fox News host on Thursday night in a stunning 3:35-minute interview. You might want to prepare your fainting couch just in case to prepare yourself for Pelosi's completely blasé attitude about her boy Swalwell being a tool of the CCP and a compromised womanizer to boot.

A federal appeals court said Saturday that President Donald Trump can move ahead for another week with construction of a massive new White House ballroom while judges consider the project. The 2-1 order from the DC Circuit Court of Appeals is a temporary win for Trump in a protracted legal fight over whether he has the authority to build the ballroom on the site of the former East Wing without express approval from Congress. The appeals court said work on the project can continue until at least April 17.

The DOJ's Civil Rights Division has opened a criminal investigation into Cassidy Hutchinson, the former White House staffer whose 2022 testimony before the January 6 Select Committee became one of the most explosive moments of that entire political spectacle, becoming the left's favorite weapon against Donald Trump. The probe focuses on whether Hutchinson committed perjury during her televised June 2022 hearing. You may remember the hearing and the ridiculous story she told, under oath, in front of millions of viewers.

The New York Times was heavily criticized Friday for a glaring error in a headline that clearly misstated the meaning of the acronym "NATO" as the "North American Treaty Organization" instead of the "North Atlantic Treaty Organization." The news outlet admitted that it was a mistake in a post on social media, stating it would run a correction Saturday. "A headline with an article on Friday about President Trump’s threats to leave NATO misstated the full name of the body," the outlet said. "It is the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, not the North American Treaty Organization."

The Church of England installed a woman as its leader for the first time. Sarah Mullally is now the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, the first woman to hold that position. The Church of England was founded in 1534, but the installation ceremony in Canterbury dates back more than 1,400 years. In addition to serving as senior bishop and the symbolic leader of the Church of England, Archbishop Mullally also becomes the most prominent figure in the worldwide Anglican Communion, which includes Episcopalians in the U.S.

The Justice Department has settled for roughly $1.2 million a lawsuit from Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser to President Donald Trump who pleaded guilty during the Republican’s first term to lying to the FBI about his conversations with a top Russian diplomat and was later pardoned. Court papers filed Wednesday do not reveal the settlement amount, but a person familiar with the matter, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity to disclose nonpublic information, confirmed the total as about $1.2 million.

By almost any analysis, Christianity is the superior religion. Of all, Christianity reigns supreme. Christianity has positively transformed the entire world. Even now, ill-informed leftists don’t realize most of their thoughts on the dignity of the human and individual freedom -- and hundreds more -- are due to Christianity. Thomas Jefferson noted, “Had the doctrines of Jesus been preached always as pure as they came from his lips, the whole civilized world would now have been Christians.” And if one is going to become a Christian it would seem that His Church, the Catholic Church, should be the choice. The other denominations were

PORTLAND, Maine—Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) campaigned Saturday alongside Graham Platner, the left-wing candidate in the Maine Democratic Senate primary who has praised Hamas and until recently sported a tattoo of a Nazi symbol. Warren said Platner "has the values" to serve in the upper chamber and would bring "accountability" to Washington, D.C. Platner "is a man who not only has the values, but a man who believes in accountability, and we need a little accountability coming out of Washington right now," Warren told attendees at a packed Holiday Inn ballroom. "Billionaires don't want to pay taxes, and nobody in Washington will get in that fight. Well, Graham Platner's gonna."

The newest Gaza freedom flotilla has come under the spotlight – not because of its stated aim of “breaking the Israeli siege on Gaza” – but because a senior member was accused of sexual misconduct. The scandal began shortly after the flotilla set sail from Barcelona on April 12, when the Palestinian group Heart of Falastin claimed that “a senior member of the flotilla, a member of the steering committee, the highest governing body of the organization, code named B.L. for their protection (not ours), engaged in sexual relations with multiple activists while on the boat heading toward Gaza. Not one person. Not two. Three different individuals.” Heart of Falastin then said,

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is distinguishing herself on the U.S. Supreme Court — and not in a positive way. It’s as though she’s positioned on an island defined by woke ideology, racial justice, and equity, while the other eight justices remain on the mainland of restraint. For proper context, it’s important to know about a case that was in front of her and the other members of the court. The case centered on an early morning police stop in Washington, D.C., where a Metropolitan Police officer responded to a call about what was described as a suspicious vehicle. At around 2 a.m., the officer approached the car, and immediately

A school district in the Minneapolis suburbs is remodeling two high schools to fit "student needs," by which it means adding a prayer room and foot-washing facilities specifically for Muslims. Alpha News senior reporter Liz Collin posted on X April 20 the following screenshots regarding plans for a specifically configured "prayer room" as part of Park Center Senior High's remodel and "footwash[s]" as part of Osseo Senior High School's remodel. A great deal of national news coverage concerning Virginia has focused on the attempt by its new Democratic governor, Abigail Spanberger, and her confederates in the General Assembly to circumvent the commonwealth’s constitution in order to radically gerrymander the state’s congressional district map. This maneuver has, however, overshadowed another of their equally dubious legislative actions. A bill proposing that Virginia join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) passed both houses of the General Assembly in February, and Gov. Spanberger signed it into law on April 13.

The Montana Supreme Court struck a blow to biological reality by allowing Montanans who claim to be transgender amend birth certificates and change driver’s licenses to match their self-proclaimed “gender identity.” The state’s high court ruled 5-2 on Tuesday to uphold a lower court’s preliminary injunction of a 2022 policy that mandates Montanans have birth certificates and IDs that match their biological sex. The court ruled that the policy likely goes against the state constitution’s Equal Protection Clause. “Transgender discrimination is, by its very nature, sex discrimination,” the court claimed in its opinion, ultimately rejecting biological reality.

Thanks to having a hometown builder-in-chief in the White House, New York has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create an iconic landmark in the dingiest part of Midtown that would rival Rockefeller Center, Central Park or the Empire State Building. At the same time, the squalid underground rathole we call Penn Station would become an uplifting experience for the hundreds of thousands of downtrodden commuters who feel disrespected every day when they pass through. But the long-promised Penn Station redevelopment still may end up as a mediocre compromise because of the big stumbling block of Madison Square Garden, which sits right on top of everything,

It’s remarkable how the real world always illustrates the Founders’ wisdom, graphically and undeniably. Take the current situation in Iran. It’s a country with a great history, full of intelligent people run by a bunch of backward, semi-human savages with a ridiculous apocalyptic theology that is so brutal it killed 30,000 or so of its own people a few months ago just to stay in power. And now it’s still in power, at least over its own people, despite the United States and Israel righteously devastating its conventional military capabilities.
