A school district in the Minneapolis suburbs is remodeling two high schools to fit "student needs," by which it means adding a prayer room and foot-washing facilities specifically for Muslims. Alpha News senior reporter Liz Collin posted on X April 20 the following screenshots regarding plans for a specifically configured "prayer room" as part of Park Center Senior High's remodel and "footwash[s]" as part of Osseo Senior High School's remodel. The Osseo Schools in Minnesota confirmed the updates and claimed they were "included in updated plans after hearing from user groups on student needs." Our Constitution , in particular the 1st Amendment, is not a suicide pact. Outlaw islam, calling itself a religion does not make it so.

Why???. I am old enough to remember the 'Bible Lady' coming into my 1st and 2nd grade classes and telling Bible stories using cut out characters placed on a felt board.. I also remember her no longer being there because it was determined that separation of religion applied to public schools and she could no longer be at the school. How is this allowed now. Do Christians now get a chapel at school also? Does the 'Bible Lady' allowed to come back?

Every school in the United State has facilities that are appropriate for the Islamic foot washing ritual. I have no problem with Muslims using them as long as they flush afterwards.

I'm sure they've set aside a room for the Mincha Gedolah (mid-day Jewish prayer, largely Psalm 145), too. LOL. Sorry, I amused myself. We found a Baptist teacher who completely understood and let us use her room for a rushed 10 minutes during study hall. We didn't bother anyone or even think to ask for special accommodation.

During a supervisor's meeting at work a decade ago, this topic came up as many of the new hires coming out of college were demanding things like allowing "support animals" in their work areas or dressing in pajamas. We also had requests for a room for the daily Muslim prayers. We already had a room set aside with a fridge for lactating mothers to express themselves so they could take their milk home, so we offered to schedule time in that space. However, this was unacceptable, and they demanded separate accommodations. We offered the covered patio space outside the building or nothing. By the time I retired, no one had ever used any workspaces for their prayers to Allah.

While the lives of Supreme Court conservatives were in danger, liberal justices dithered — and Justice Brett Kavanaugh almost paid the ultimate price. In the months leading up to the release of the court’s 2022 decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, a leaked majority ruling alerted radicals on the left that the cherished “right” to an abortion was on the verge of disappearing. They would go to any lengths — including murder — to keep that from happening, and the court’s liberals were helping. That scenario is described in a “Alito: The Justice Who Reshaped the Supreme Court and Restored the Constitution,” a book out for release Tuesday by conservative commentator, author,

CNN was unapologetic even after they were found liable for their malicious defamation of Navy veteran Zachary Young last year. And in reporting on FBI Director Kash Patel’s $250 million defamation suit against The Atlantic for their recent reporting about him, on Monday, CNN’s The Situation Room suggested was just him “performing” for President Trump and suggested he should have just ignored the possible defamation because more people have since read it. In giving a rundown of the suit, chief media analyst Brian Stelter rhetorically scoffed at any possibly the suit legitimacy. According to him, Patel was only “performing” for President Trump:

FBI Director Kash Patel filed a $250 million defamation lawsuit against The Atlantic in federal court in Washington, D.C., on April 20, 2026. The civil complaint accuses the magazine of publishing false allegations with actual malice after receiving warnings that key claims were untrue. The suit stems from a recent The Atlantic article that Patel says contains damaging and inaccurate statements about his background and actions. The 19-page complaint states that defendants published the article “with actual malice, despite being expressly warned, hours before publication, that the central allegations were categorically false.” It details specific passages from the article that Patel disputes.

The Montana Supreme Court struck a blow to biological reality by allowing Montanans who claim to be transgender amend birth certificates and change driver’s licenses to match their self-proclaimed “gender identity.” The state’s high court ruled 5-2 on Tuesday to uphold a lower court’s preliminary injunction of a 2022 policy that mandates Montanans have birth certificates and IDs that match their biological sex. The court ruled that the policy likely goes against the state constitution’s Equal Protection Clause. “Transgender discrimination is, by its very nature, sex discrimination,” the court claimed in its opinion, ultimately rejecting biological reality.

Hospitality Minnesota recently said restaurants statewide are nearing a “breaking point,” pointing to a mix of lingering pandemic recovery challenges, tariffs, immigration enforcement impacts, economic uncertainty, and new state policies such as paid family leave and rising minimum wages. Shreveport Police Corporal Chris Bordelon told reporters officers were first dispatched just after 6 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of West 79th Street, where they located the initial scene. As officers canvassed the area, they discovered additional connected locations, including one on Harrison Street, all tied to the same domestic disturbance.
