Will Fariah Brewer be disciplined? Will she be thrown out of the military?
Wearing a hijab, Brewer on Monday recorded a video that quickly went viral. In it, she happily admits that if she is commanded, as a member of the U.S. military, to fight other Muslims, she would disobey the orders. She makes this clear in the context of a discussion of the conflict with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Will the Army take action? Or would doing anything to call Brewer to account be “Islamophobic”? [Tweet, video]
It’s axiomatic: a soldier in the U.S. military should be loyal to the United States.

Woke lawmaker Pramila Jayapal called for illegal immigrants to receive reparations to make up for the 'trauma' of being targeted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The progressive Washington Democrat blasted ICE activity in the latest of her 'shadow hearings' about immigration reform on Friday, which she titled 'Kidnapped and Disappeared.'
Jayapal called for 'offensive action' against ICE activities, saying she hoped for 'prosecutions and real accountability' against immigration agents. At the end of the day, the people that have been inflicting this harm need to be prosecuted,' she fumed.
'They need to be brought before us and they need to be held to account for the 'trauma' that they

The agency said they are currently investigating and will provide additional details as they become available. Sheriff John Budensiek was expected to speak at 5 p.m. at the Jupiter Island Town Hall.
It's unclear if Woods was injured in the wreck.
Woods was involved in a severe crash in California in 2021, where he suffered multiple leg injuries.

NASA’s chief on Tuesday said the US space agency will invest $20 billion to develop a base on the Moon, while suspending its plans to create the lunar orbital space station known as Gateway. The agency intends to pause Gateway in its current form and shift focus to infrastructure that enables sustained surface operations,” Jared Isaacman said in a statement given during a day-long event at NASA headquarters in Washington. Despite challenges with some existing hardware, the agency will repurpose applicable equipment and leverage international partner commitments to support these objectives,” he said.
The European Space Agency among other international organizations were partners on the planned Gateway project.

The Mexican Navy announced on Thursday that it has begun a search-and-rescue mission in the Caribbean Sea for two sailboats carrying "humanitarian aid" to Cuba.
Reuters describes the vessels as "sailboats" and says they left Isla Mujeres, in the Mexican Caribbean state of Quintana Roo, last week. They did not arrive in Havana as scheduled on Tuesday or Wednesday. The journey is about 300 to 350 miles, depending on the route. Combined, the two boats had nine people on board, including eight adults and a four-year-old child. Reuters also reports that they were a part of the "Nuestra America Convoy."

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who has largely been disgraced following major Medicare fraud uncovered in his state, is still trying to stay relevant as he blasted the president’s decision to deploy Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to assist TSA at airports.
He went even further, spreading additional fear by speculating that the administration could deploy ICE agents to polling places during the 2026 midterm elections. [Tweet, video]
This is not normal. These guys aren't doing a damn thing," Walz said. "They weren't qualified to be here in Minnesota.

A Secret Service agent shot and wounded himself in the leg while guarding former first lady Jill Biden at Philadelphia International Airport on Friday, according to the agency and a report.
The on-duty agent’s gun went off around 8:30 a.m. while helping escort former President Joe Biden’s wife at the busy travel hub, sources told KYW.
The agent suffered a non-life-threatening injury following the “negligent discharge” that took place while he was handling his service weapon, said Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring. “There was no impact to the protectee’s movement and they were not present at the time of the incident,” Herring said.

March 20, 2026, marked a turning point in the 2026 Iran war, when Iran launched two intermediate-range ballistic missiles at the joint U.K.–U.S. military base on Diego Garcia, a remote island in the Indian Ocean. Although both missiles failed to reach their target—one malfunctioned in flight, while the other was successfully intercepted—the attack sent shockwaves through Western Europe.
This missile proved that the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had lied for years about the true range of Iran’s missile arsenal. Khamenei claimed Iran’s missiles could not threaten beyond the Middle East and their range had been limited to 2,000 kilometers.

After two months of unyielding negotiations, both parties gave up early Friday on reaching a grand accord to reform and fund the Department of Homeland Security.
Instead, Senate Republicans accepted what Democrats have been offering for weeks — cash for all of DHS except for ICE and part of Customs and Border Protection. The Senate approved the funding package by a voice vote and is now expected to begin a scheduled two-week recess. The House could vote as soon as Friday, before the shutdown would break the record Saturday night for the longest funding lapse of any federal agency in U.S. history.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune called the outcome “unfortunate” Friday.

Sir Keir Starmer is expected to offer Sir Sadiq Khan a peerage after the local elections in an attempt to bring one of his most prominent critics on side. The Telegraph has more.
Sir Sadiq, who was handed a knighthood last year, has been a vocal critic of Sir Keir’s leadership, recently accusing him of taking “liberal, progressive voters” for granted in a shift to the Right.
He also backed Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester, after he called for a change in the Prime Minister’s approach last year.

After a tenure mired in controversy, former Dalton, Illinois, Mayor Tiffany Henyward is back in the news.
This time, she is urging Governor JB Pritzker (D) and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson to accept President Trump’s help in tackling rampant crime in the state.
The plea comes after her father was shot in the neck.
ABC7 reports:
The shooting happened around 5:54 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block South Kedzie Avenue in North Lawndale, Chicago police said. A 65-year-old man was in an alley when he was shot in the neck, CPD said. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
Henyard confirmed to ABC7 Thursday that her father was the victim in the shooting.
Comments:
As he himself acknowledges, Steyn is not a pom pom waver as far as Epic Fury is concerned. His reasons for skepticism are based on the United States' history of failure in the Middle East, although he asserts that Donald Trump is completely unlike any previous Commander-in-Chief. As tomorrow begins week five of the conflict I am starting to question the assurances of the President, the Secretary of War and the pom pom boys that Iran is on the verge of collapse. After reading several of the links within this article that report many of our bases in the area are uninhabitable due to Iranian strikes I long for a purely factual and sober account of the status of this war.
