The extent to which the Department of Justice under Merrick Garland was weaponized to serve the Democratic Party is a scandal that is still unraveling. The FBI was particularly turned to partisan ends, a scandal for which there has yet been no accounting. It has most recently come to light that in 2023, the FBI tapped the phones secretly subpoenaed phone records of both Kash Patel–now, ironically, the Director of the FBI–and Susie Wiles, now the President’s Chief of Staff. This was all, I take it, part of the Democratic Party’s well-organized effort to prevent Donald Trump from being re-elected President in 2024. That the FBI wiretapped Patel and Wiles is disgraceful,

Blu Zeke Daly, a/k/a Cullan Zeke Daly, 26, was charged by complaint with one count of attempted murder of a federal officer and one count of assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon. Daly is currently obtaining medical treatment at a New Hampshire hospital and is under guard.
The arrest of Daly was covered by local news station WMUR. According to the report,

Michael Lynton was the CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment when it greenlit Seth Rogen’s film The Interview. You’ve most likely never seen it because it displeased the Supreme (Communist) Leader of North Korea and led to North Korea’s hack of the company’s emails, confidential scripts, and his family’s personal information. Sony limited distribution of the film in order to mitigate the damage.
The Wall Street Journal published an excerpt of Lynton’s memoir in its February 21 Review section. In the excerpt Lynton blames the malformation of his character for what he deems a monumental corporate mistake. I was disgusted to read President Obama’s concurrence in Lynton’s assessment:

President Trump's State of the Union speech Tuesday night got extra heated when he relentlessly called out Democrats for supporting sanctuary city policies and refusing to stand for the American people over criminal illegal aliens.
Literally, refusing to stand.
The President challenged Democrats to affirm their support for the American people over illegal immigrants. And they just couldn't do it.
"I'm inviting every legislator to join with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle," he said, glaring at the Democrat side of the room. "If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support."
The principle?
Well, we knew the Democrat antics ahead of and during Tuesday night's State of the Union address from President Donald Trump would not disappoint, and it surely hasn't so far, with Democrat Rep. Al Green (TX-09) keeping up his tradition of getting kicked out of Trump presidential addresses by being deported out of this one, too.
Green was seen during the early portion of Trump's speech holding up a "Black people aren't apes" sign. He was ejected soon after:

Did you ever go to Yankee Stadium? I’ve been there dozens of times and have always felt thrilled and celebratory when they’ve won, especially in the years when Mariano Rivera was closing and Jorge Posada was catching. I even wore my Posada jersey when I knew he would be in the lineup.
